I love that you know yourself regarding your knitting projects. Many other pod casts have tons of projects going all at once with incredibly costly yarns so you are encouraging to me to keep my stash at a reasonable amount. Thank you. BTW I’m 77 years old and have been knitting for over 60 years.
Lovely first episode, you're a natural! I would love to see how you style your finished knits! That's something that I think is missing in a lot of podcasts.
That black sheep sweater is adorable! I'm thinking about making just the body of it and making it a bag. I'm looking forward to your modifications update. All of your knits are beautiful. ❤🧶
Absolutely love your knits. I love the zipper sweater. I too am a fan of Petite knits as they are classic sweaters! Look forward to following you on your knitting journey!
So happy to have found you, great episode. Don't apologize for making a lot of PK patterns, I make many of her patterns too and I find they are my most worn best fitting garments.❤
Love all of your Petite Knit sweaters! I am about to try to knit my first sweater and I have heard so many good things about her patterns and seeing them finished helps me so much to see which ones I should consider knitting. Beautiful work!
I love your Olga sweater, the colours are beautiful! Maaaaybe if the sleeves and body are really too short for you to enjoy it, you could use the darker colour to make a bit of a longer ribbing in just the darker colour? That would match your neckline and you could make it a biiiit longer??? Would be such a pitty if you didn't wear it, because it's absolutely beautiful!❤
I’m a Michigander living in Ohio. I watched your other videos and was happy to see that you’ve started a podcast. I love your style and all the knits you’ve shown! I have not knit any PetitKnit patterns yet, but was thinking of doing the Esther cardigan. I’m sure it will be a slower project, but I really like the textures. Keep up your good work!
If you want more length on your Olga sweater can you add extra ribbing in your new ball of the darker yarn? If the neck, bottom hem, and sleeves are all done in the new dye lot it will still look intentional and it may be more wearable for you!
Oh, I definitely know what you mean by casting on multiple projects at a time...I currently have one sweater (the Bereket) and one cardigan (the Som Cardigan) on my needles and am seriously contemplating casting on a third one (the Antanilla cardigan)! I also have (at least) one PetiteKnit pattern planned for later this year, so ... may I humbly be added to the club, please? ☺ I really enjoyed your podcast and am looking forward to next installments!
Loved this! I'm getting ready to start my knitting podcast as well so this was very inspiring to see that I'm not the only one starting in 2025! You're a natural and I love all of your knits!!!
your zipper sweater looks great!! I did the light version in a tweed and love it too. Really want to make the twist loop sweater but might have to wait until next fall. Yours is stunning!! Knitted the Tulip loop sweater in a merino/cashmere (capra DK) and am very happy with it. Now want to use same yarn in white for the twist loop version. Agree with you - can't go wrong with a petite knit parrtern.
So glad you decided to do this! I am happy to add you to a short list of knitting podcasts that I look forward to. Also, I’m newish to knitting and wouldn’t be able, yet, to modify a flat sweater design to one done in the round. So I would be very interested to hear how you go about doing that for the Diana sheep sweater.
I love tga Petite Knit sweater. I was wondering if you could extend the ribbing in the sleeves and in the body, if you have enough with the yarn that you have.
Curious how you will do the black sheep on the Diana sweater? Duplicate stitch? Intarsia would be more difficult in the round. I like petite knit patterns as well. Classics!
I have been doing stranded color work thus far. I will be splitting the front and back before the black sheep so may be able to just continue doing stranded colorwork flat with the black. If it isnt working I will end up doing duplicate.
Welcome! Great first video. I have subscribed and looking forward to you future episodes. I live in North Idaho and share your cold weather climate! It’s wonderful to be able to wear wool sweaters half the year.
Hi Katie! I just discovered and watched your first two videos, and subscribed, a few hours ago…and here you are again! I’ve made 4 zipper sweaters. Nicely done.
Excited to follow along! Really nice knits and the Diana sweater is so cute! I think your Olga sweater looks really cute on you with the cropped sleeves with the length of the body. But I understand you not happy about having to do that. I'm going to have to check that pattern out and i may steal your colors.
I’m enjoying your videos. Wondering if you’d make a video about petite knit patterns - your favourites and why? I enjoy her patterns as well and want to buy more.
Hi, Katie, Thoroughly enjoyed your first podcast(gotta check out your other vids, too!). Re: your Olga Sweater, personally, I like the way it fits on you, though, maybe the sleeves could have been a slightly tighter fit. A few other commenters made good suggestions on undoing the cuffs and bottom hem, reknitting with your leftover clay color__that would have worked out nicely. If you didn't want to do all that, the other thing you could do is wear a tailored white blouse/shirt underneath, with collar, cuffs/sleeves and hem partially sticking out. 😺 The Diana Black Sheep Sweater is on my list, too! But I think I would make that for my husband, as he's been a Diana fan for decades. 😋 Just subscribed and looking forward to your next installment. 💖🙌😺
Just curious if you've tried and Petite Knit Baby garments?? I've purchased 2 so far and the sizes are sooooo far off! Like 0-3 months would fit a 2 year old!! Just curious if you've found that?? thanks
Hey there January birthday buddy! When is your birthday? I’m the 26th! I love the idea of knitting a birthday sweater! I’m going to try this for my next birthay, but I think I’m going to have to start mine earlier than January 1st because it takes me longer to finish projects with two toddlers at home 🙃
You could tink back the cuffs of your Olga, knit the stripes and then do the cuffs to match the collar. That would give you the length you’re looking for. Same with the bottom. Just a thought. Enjoyed your podcast. Great first show! 🎉

Totally agree about PetiteKnit patterns. I love them as well.

Oh em gee!!!!! The Diana sweater is a dream knit of mine but the thought of the bottom up is just so daunting.
I agree, I kind of wish I reworked the whole pattern to do it top down but I didn't know if I had that level of ability
Thanks for starting the podcasts!!❤ I really really love how concise and clear you’re in all of your videos!
What a lovely chat! Really enjoyed listening and watching whilst knitting. ❤
Lovely episode and beautiful projects. I like your Other loops sweater very much! Looking forward to seeing more. Best wishes
Love the green cable sweater. Sheep are so cute.
So happy to have found you, great episode. Don't apologize for making a lot of PK patterns, I make many of her patterns too and I find they are my most worn best fitting garments.❤
I think your Olga sweater looks cute on you! It’ll be nice for spring.
I’ve been wanting to make the Diana sweater for years! So cool!
Love all of your Petite Knit sweaters! I am about to try to knit my first sweater and I have heard so many good things about her patterns and seeing them finished helps me so much to see which ones I should consider knitting. Beautiful work!
Glad your vid was recommended to me- your colour choices are very similar to mine and really enjoyed your debut podcast 😊

Also, my second ever sweater was the twist loop sweater and I still have it! I love the colour you picked for yours!
So so happy steam blocking worked on the Olga sleeves!! 🎉 loved the first podcast, can’t wait for the next!

The tulip loop is so lovely too!
Could you take the cuffs off and reknit in your left over yarn? 😊

I do hope to detail the process on ravelry when I finish!

@@thekniterarythat makes good sense. Can’t wait to see it!
Wonderful podcast! So glad I found you and excited to follow your knitting journey! 😊
Lovely episode! I really enjoyed seeing all your finished objects and works in progress. Beautiful knits!
Lovely Podcast, you are so natural, so relaxing to watch. Love everything you are knitting.❤

Great podcast, really enjoyed listening to your knitting journey. Looking forward to seeing more in the future.😁🧶
Looking forward to your future videos! ❤ the Diana sweater
You just make me smile! Thank you 😊
I'm glad! 😊 Thanks!
Your work is beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
On the Holger sweater, Why not take out the ribbing on the sleeves and knit with the leftover yarn you have.
It will match the collar rib

Loved it! Loving forward to more 🥰. Lovely knitted sweaters on you

Thanks :) After steam blocking I think I got enough length to make me happy!
I look forward to seeing your knit projects from other designers.
I really enjoy your podcast. Wish it would be an hour long ! Will be there for the second episode.
All the best from Belgium
You have a cute personality. The sweaters are lovely.
I’m enjoying your videos. Wondering if you’d make a video about petite knit patterns - your favourites and why? I enjoy her patterns as well and want to buy more.
I would love to do this in the future!
Джемпер с овечками очень понравился! Успехов в вязании 🫶🏻
Would you consider reknitting the sleeves and tapering them a bit more then adding more cuff with the extra yarn
Great job on your first podcast! I’m a Michigander also. 👍
Beautiful podcast
Great podcast

I think the striped sweater looks great on you. Also, what color technique are you using for the sheep sweater?
Just curious if you've tried and Petite Knit Baby garments?? I've purchased 2 so far and the sizes are sooooo far off! Like 0-3 months would fit a 2 year old!! Just curious if you've found that?? thanks
Hi from your “neighbor” in Wisconsin. I’m really enjoying your podcast.
Ha! I guessed you lived in Michigan when I saw out your window in the first video.
Undo the hem of the body, pick up stitches and using the pink yarn add enough ribbing to make it less cropped
Great video, thank you!
Happy to have found a fellow Michigan knitter! What part of Michigan are you in? I’m in Metro Detroit. Loved the first episode! 🎉
Hey there January birthday buddy! When is your birthday? I’m the 26th! I love the idea of knitting a birthday sweater! @@thekniterarystop it! oh my gosh we’re birthday twins ❤ I love it! Happy belated birthday to you 🎉

What about doing a rib at the arms and bottom? Would tie in with the collar.
Love all your knits! New sub from me. ❤
