Teachers, parents, friends ... anyone or anything that serves as a motivating force in your life, that inspires you, lifts your spirits, helps you reach your potential, etc. The great thing about music is that it's not rigid or one-dimensional in its meaning, and everyone can have their own unique interpretation to it and personalize it to their own experiences.
