good info thank you - i have a black eye and hit concreate from a blow to the face. Now dealing with double vision (all tests from cT scan on brain and face fine) not sure if it’s from inflammation to the area or what but only certain parts of the eye are double and it’s usually with both open not when one is closed- how do we know when it’s an eye issue vs a concussion inflammation issue? Thanks again! i should note onlt looking straight with both eyes open is giving double or down- not looking up or 1o clock region (away from the bruising)

This is NOT medical advice but I would be curious about your otolith function. That is a common theme with my double vision people.

@@johnsonlevy142 Hello, I have not done an exam but it is possible it has been there since birth. I would need to know more about your case. Hang in there:)

I just realize we had a thread going though my just prior post does still stands. I would still suspect vestibular especially based on how it happened. There could be a doctor in your area who has similar credentials to me to better identify the issue.

Can a stroke do the same thing.

Hi John, yes, this can happen after a stroke. In fact, eye movements have been studied in the emergency room setting and those stroke patients tend to respond better with therapy involving eye movements.

@@johnhargis8560 I am not able to do that. It depends on your brain function and where the injury was. No 2 therapies are the same and are based on your specific examination. I would search for a chiropractic neurologist in your area or a neuro-optometrist.
