    I appreciate you posting this video because I feel like a lot of minimalists don't show their activewear or loungewear, so it just seems like they own a lot less than they actually do. Or they use older or "downgraded" clothes for activewear, which is totally fine but I personally like to "invest" in my workoutwear, so I just always feel guilty for spending money on a separate workout wardrobe.
    I also recommend Okko for underwear! Super comfy, doesn't show or look weird on me personally. And they wash well. I also recommend Girlfriend Collective for most activewear (except their underwear, not a fan). I haven't been disappointed by their stuff otherwise and they have a wide range and very versatile selection of clothing.

    Girls absolutely belong in the weight room! I highly recommend Beyond Yoga leggings. Also, lifting in just socks if your gym allows. We have a substantial home gym and I've largely stopped wearing shoes to lift.

    I just love how you break everything down into numbers hehe 😉 I built my active and loungewear capsule wardrobe a while back, probably around 4 years ago, and it’s so amazing to have it separate from my main capsule, it’s super easy to shop and to know exactly what you have. I have since then inspired my mum and sister to do the same, and they say it’s also life-changing 😍 I really enjoyed the video, it’s super nice to see what works for you 😊

    Thanks for this special vid!! When I started my capsule wardrobe a few years ago, I completely forgot about sporty clothes. I think, because I hardly saw it on IG or yt. But when I realized that I really need to focus sports wear for my capsule, because I am a kinda sporty girl, always on my bike, walking, running, making holidays in the mountains for hiking and skiing, I invested in a quiet large collection of different sports wear. I realized, that a can't compare with these influencers with only one pair of sporty leggings and trainers😂 now I have a lot of different sports garments for all year and all the activities I do. And I am so happy not to be limited too much. (Btw my brother lived a couple of years in Switzerland and I hiked a lot with him in these beautiful nature, but very soon I realized that a really good pair of hiking boots are needed there😅)

    That's so interesting about the activewear colors being easier to settle on than your day-to-day colors, I wonder why that is?? I've exercised for years and my activewear is still all black, but for me black doesn't feel anonymous, it feels strong, clean, and cool/soothing. I'm weird about colors, though, I obsess over & love them in art, flowers, wildlife, home furnishings, nail polish, and everywhere else in the world at large, but on my body, their different energies feel chaotic, so I favor black and navy clothes. Enjoy your workouts!!!

    I LOVE active wear...Lululemon is my favorite! It is funny but I live in the US and I have never even heard of Aeire, lol! I will have to check out their underwear.

    Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and cleverly created activewear capsule! I would love to hear more about how you adapt to our daily where how’s your body changes shape and size width your exercise. Mine has definitely changed in the last year as I detailed in another comment. I use Tone It Up and Fit On Apps with my home gym so I am almost never wearing any kind of shirts, just a bra and leggings, also barefoot! I have my own weights and equipment, though minimal, is very effective! I’ve never really been one for gyms mainly because I have young kids and it’s extremely inconvenient to do gyms on top of everything else and everywhere else I have to go in life lol but now I work at our local hospital and can get a heavily discounted gym membership at a couple of local gyms so I may just pick up a day or two a week at the gym around my husband‘s work schedule!

      I can totally empathise with the small kids aspect, that has been a major driving force for me to get started. Really good for you that you have found something that works for you to stay active xx
      My body changes are bound to become part of the wardrobe updates at some point for sure.

    I recently started going to the gym too and I'm looking to expand my wardrobe but it's sooo difficult with sizing and the fits of the clothing... I am not comfortable with cropped tops, but then anything else is just too long because I'm short and the underwear situation is a whole nightmare, everything rides up or rolls off of my stomach. I really wish active wear companies would make clothing with midsize girls in mind, we're not all perfectly built, tight and toned. It's just a little depressing trying to find something that doesn't give you a massive camel toe, or is vulgar on someone of my size.

    • @NajaSierra
      @NajaSierra  2 года назад +1

      Pretty spot on. In Alphalete I'm consistenly an M in everything, in Lululemon I'm mostly an 8 and sometimes a 10. Although I use size 6 in the aligns.

      @@NajaSierra I literally have items from size S up to size XL, and I'm usually a solid size 42(L) on bottom and 38/40(M) on top. It's so frustrating sometimes.

    • @NajaSierra
      @NajaSierra  2 года назад

      @@mumijevi Uuhh, that reply was meant for another comment, I'm not sure how it jumped to yours.
      But yeah I can definitely understand that it is really frustrating. I probably wouldn't recommend the Alphatlete as it tends to roll.
      But what about lululemon? Their activewear is notorious to fit all bodies pretty well. There's also Girlfriend Collective that someone else mentioned in a comment, not that I've tried them myself.

    you should create a software/app where you can manage their own closet and calculate their own cpw

    This was an interesting topic! I have very few clothes to wear to the gym, for some reason I don`t want to invest in them. Maybe because my enthusiasm of going to the gym has fluctuated. Speaking of fluctuation, now that you have worked out regularly for a longer period, have you noticed any changes in how your clothes fit you? Or are you expecting to see changes? I was wondering how this would affect your well thought out wardrobe that you have built up.

      I would also really love to hear more about this over time! I noticed that my hips and thighs actually got bigger wow my waistline reduced so I needed to look for different styles of jeans to accommodate. Some of my favorite jeans no longer fit around my thighs and I need to go for more of the mom Jean cut. Also, my absolute favorite leather jacket I have worn for years ended up on Poshmark because the shoulders no longer fit! Thankfully, I have since found a new leather jacket.

      Really good point and it's something I have thought about for sure. My body has changed in shape in a few ways already, but not really in size in a way that affects my clothing - yet.
      I'm assuming I'd shrink a bit if anything, in which tailoring is always an option. We'll have to see how it goes, but as soon as there's something to mention I'll for sure mention it in wardrobe updates to come.

    Which site do you buy your alphalete at? and what about tax? It only looks like they have a UK and US shop.

    How did you find the sizing for Alphalete compared to Lulu?
    I follow Fitness Blender videos - they have a lot of approachable (and free!) content, and a very positive community/forum on their website.

    Lovely gym capsule! I personally prefer darker colours of the leggings just in case if crotch area gets sweaty while in the gym 🤭I really like the burgundy colour leggings x
