Thank you spegtacular for coming by again. I always enjoy our visits. For anyone in the area we have a few coin shows coming up. Would love to see you all there.
Thank you Mr. Guy.
Hopefully some fans can come by and check you out.
Watching from Ireland
Hi Coin Guy. Is 2007 1oz American Gold Eagle worth collecting? Would the price appreciate in the future? It was the lowest mintage year and I was wondering if I should collect it instead of other years. Thanks!
Do you have any Seated Liberty, Flowing Hair and Carson City Morgan Dollars?
I came to your shop I think there weeks ago maybe 2 and I bought a copper round a walking liberty half and a couple wheat cents I love shopping at your store better than anywhere else
I want more videos with this guy! It's fantastic. This is unprepared and it's incredible.
I find that to be the best way. Walk in and start talking about stuff.
I could watch these visits all day and night long! It's so kewl to hear of the gems of life and history that Mr. Guy tells. Thanks again, Speg!
Looking forward to Interview #4!
Anyone else notice that the "coin guy " has the top strap of his holster already undone. Smart man !!!
Robert Savilonis yeah I saw that too
That’s just in case Spegtacular turns out to be a shady dude
@@Spegtacular I think yer shady as hell....you hide behind the camera, and creep on other peoples money...
Love the Coin Guy show. I have been learning more about the Older coinage and this is very interesting. Thank you!☺️👩🏻🏵
Guy is a treasure. In a world filled with divisive crap like CNN this man is a positive light to all around him.
It’s always fascinating to think about where an old, worn coin may have been, who handled it and the history it may have “seen”.
That’s one of my favor parts about finding these old treasures.
This guy is sharp as a tack. The Coin Guy is a Guru lol. The 57 Chevy of Coins! That heater he has just gives him more character. Love the video Speg!
Thank you so much for sharing with us all. I'm learning so much from the both of you. It's fascinating how much history that is in one coin.
I just bought 1885 0 Morgan from Nathen @ the coin guy. I will keep it on hand as a token of appreciation for doing such a good job in the you tube videos
Very cool!
Thank you Spegtacular for bringing Coin Guy and his love for history and coins to RUclips! I just love his passion for history and the business. And he’s a people person too! He doesn’t talk down to people he just shares his knowledge. Great Guy!
Thanks for the enjoyable video love Mr. Coin 👦 he's great!☺! 👍🍀🐈
Need more of these videos great info and he seems like a good honest guy to work with
There’s about a half dozen on my channel at this point. Have you seen them all?
I LOVE THIS COIN GUY, INFORMATION IS GREAT ,I have been COLLECTING FOR 50 YEARS AND I HAVE LEARNED A LOT FROM HIM , THANKS for THE VIDEOS.
His grandchildren will love these videos one day.
What a nice way to remember him. Hopefully my children will get a kick out of these too when I’m dead and gone.
OH MY GOODNESS SPEG, THIS MAN IS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION. I WISH I COULD TAKE A TRIP TO FLORIDA JUST TO VISIT WITH HIM A COUPLE OF DAYS. I AM SO IMPRESSED. THANK YOU SPEG FOR THIS INTERVIEW AND YOUR FRIENDSHIP WITH HIM.
These videos are a Treasure! Thank You, Coin Guy and SpegTacular!
I’m Guy’s age and I remember seeing (and spending) all those coins- buffalo nickels, mercury dimes, standing quarters, etc) when I was a little kid.
The CoinGuy series is by far one of my favorite coin videos to watch on RUclips. I'm going through the playlist and have to admit listening to his wealth of knowledge is such a treat! Well done SpegTacular! Keep up the great work!
The Charlotte Mint opened in 1838 -1861,when North Carolina seceded from the union, the Confederacy took control in 1861 and minted some gold coins. It eventually was used as a hospital and military office. The 1854 is the rarest, only 4 coins were made that year. The building still stands and is now a museum. The Dahlonega Mint also ran from 1838-1861,the Confederacy took control of that as well. It was not reopened after the Civil War and was turned into the North Georgia College in 1873,it burned down in 1878.Coin Guy is a cool dude

As ever with coin guy, a delightful and informative video.
Mr. Guy is a true collector that has the luck of making a living out of his passion. Watched all videos and they are great. You owe him my subscription.
what a treat. I could listen to this shop owner all day. he's got a nice way about him
you and coin guy got me started on coins. Thanks
Awesome! Glad to be part of what inspired your new hobby :)
“true collectors always find it interesting who held the coin before them....”
He says “true collectors” and “real collector” referring to a connection to the past.
Just one of the many fascinating aspects of coin collecting!
Thanks coin guy and thanks spegtacular!
Thank you Spegtacular. Great video!
Some of the best videos on RUclips. Keep interviewing Coin Guy. He's awesome.
I love how he has a sidearm. I totally GET it, the risks of robbery must be high. BTW, just incredible seeing the dates on some of these coins, and coin collecting really boosts your knowledge of History
The coin shop in my small town was ran by a man in his 80's. Two punks tried to rob him, and he shot one in the face. Nobody ever tried to rob him again.
Much LOVE to Coin Guy from Eastern PA!!! More videos and stories about coins, PLEASE!!!!
I foun a 1 dollar gold piece at a yard sale in Idaho. It had been defaced and someones Initals were carved into it. I bought the piece for $2 and traided it to a buddy of mine for an antique knife that Wilkinson Sword Sheffield England stamped on the blade. He gave me that knife and $10 for the coin. Took the knife to a flea marked near Baker Ore and traded it for a Spanish made 38 revolver and a box of shells, and my table rent for the day. Showed the gun to my buddy I traded the coin to, then sold him the pistol for $150.00. All with in a tight circle of friends and horse traders.
I was so interested. I didn't want this one to end. The 3$, 4$ gold coins.. the different U.S. mints... absolutely fascinating. Thanks, Speg, Guy.. thank you.
Another great interview!!. I live about 45 minutes from vancouver . To bad coin guy isnt there 😑
Thank you, Speg - one of my favorite "series" on YT.
Nice to see a person who loves his job and can educate others in the process! Coin Guy Rocks.
Hi Fun to see an old time coin shop, like the one I used to go to when I was young in the 1950’s. I started with a type set back then , when Was working on my merit badge ,Take care, Bill
Love these so much! I was at work checking my instagram and saw your post about this video. I had to wait all day until I got off to watch, but it was the first thing I did when I got home!!
Fair Dinkum! I never get sick of these videos of Coin Guy! He is a real person, regardless of being a American. Even though I'm Australian, I'm about the same age, & we have nearly exactly the same values. We will not realise our loss until sadly, long after he has gone. Our Western values are going to hell in a handbasket, & so many are cheering it on. I think this is the fifth time I've watched this particular video.
love love love the back and forth with you too. maybe coin guy could do a weekly 5 minute video about 1 silver or gold coin? you could call the segment coin guy corner!
Love the Coin Guy videos.
the coin guy is a wealth of information and history. thank you spegtacular for introducing him. from the philippines.
Great show
At my a coin club a hobo coin collector did a show and tell on the hobo nickels they would carve them until their hands would be cut up with the tools they had what they would do is pass the nickel to one person to another and they would use the hobo nickel for a days work and a meal cool part of history
to coin guy tysm for taking the time to share your knowledge and stories with us... to spegtacular ty for sharing his knowledge on your channel
Thank you ;) I think I can speak for both of us when I say that we’re glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for these vids. What a great shop and owner. I was not aware what parchment really was until this vid. Seems like a great place to hang out.
Seems to know a lot about coins, but far more importantly, coin guy seems to be one hell of a nice fellow.

Thanks guys ! I’m going to start collecting again, and your videos have helped me tremendously!
Great video. I am 60 And can remember getting Buffalo nickels Mercury dimes And Franklin half dollars. Also the guy at my local Convenience store. Would save Morgan silver dollars for me that were worn out. thought I was a strange kid and why I wanted them. I told him my grandfather said they be worth something some day. I sold them in the early eighties When I started my business to eat Salami and cheese Sandwiches. I think I was getting $22 apiece at that time. Not badd for a dollar.
Wow ... a live broadcast? I like this coin shop owner.
Its Pre Recorded
@@TonyMaine915 ... thanks. It said LIVE on my home page. (LOL)
The show is pre recorded and the chat is live
I like the videos I would love to see more in the future. I plan on visiting the coin shop. Thank you
Cool history on the hobo Nickles. I always wondered about them. 😁👍
Spectacular and coin guy are best coin videos on RUclips hands down. Keep em coming SpegTagular and CoinGuy
Only if you promise to share the video with someone else :)
The coin dealer I knew in New York also used to keep a pistol. He had it modified to shoot shotgun shells. This brought back alot of good memories.
This video is basically about doing the right thing. do business, but doing it right and fair. one a side note, I so love the feel of this brit half crown from 1883 I have in my hand right now.
Hello big guy! I’m 72 this year, The Coin Guy has in my opinion the quality of what We as a society need to grow strong. Watching the coin guys expressions as you converse in a simply understanding friendship of words. Being honest in todays society is so heavy on one. Don’t get me wrong I’ve done my share of growing up of stealing, lies, misleading for greed. Hopefully your video will touch the person(s) who will understand the value of honesty. We only live once so I’m told. Maybe there is a joke somewhere. Well, please forward this message to our friend “,Mr. Coin Guy” please let him know that I was born in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY in 1949. My farther was a stair builder,”Triboro Stairbuilders” , in Brooklyn,NY. Please let Mr Coin Guy know that his NY accent is so good to hear… saying waattter (water, oil). Yet with 3 of my kids I can still park a car in Harvard Yard… Thank you and thank your family for standing with you in giving others such as me a honest video. The elderly need protection, we are strong we are proud we have a serious fault. The fault is simply and it’s true. Guilty of not knowing, guilty of not reaching out for advising one. Guilty of simply admitting that one failed. Hopefully others of my age group will watch your videos and simply learn. When in doubt say no and call for help. Bob
I am a bullion stacker, and it's all about weight for me. But I very much enjoyed this, and I have to admit that I feel the collector pull when watching this.
Down to earth, honest, great video we want MORE.
What a great and inspiring man this Mr. Guy!! :D

The old man is very happy finding someone respecting his knowledge.
There are not many young persons and I guess even in the US shops like this are rare.
In Germany for 0815 in shops. You pay 30 percent more than online
Nice chat session. Always like picking up nuggets of info, like the older mint marks. Besides love tokens and hobo nickels, I’d like to know more about other specialty collections/ collectibles in the coin world.
Great shop, Friendly, knowledgeable guy, prices are good. I will be back. Great Jewelry for wives and girlfriends.
The Capital building dome in Atlanta is covered in gold from Dahlomega, Ga. It was one of the earliest gold rushes in the USA. People still go up there and pan for gold.
$280,000 on a penny? Hell I hate the premium on American Silver Eagles! Different strokes for different folks.
Hahaha Guy's grandson is named little Guy! That's great!
Ive recently started collecting love tokens. Found one metal detecting and thought it was epic! Now i collect them when I can get them for a good price.
