    I have to be boring here but my favorite Trilogy is the original Star Wars Trilogy. My favorite MJF performances are in Family Ties and The Hard Way though I do love his performance the BTTF trilogy. Sorry, I could not chose just one. MJF has a lot of good performances including a couple of TV movies, High School USA and Poison Ivy - you should check them out if you haven't seen them.

    • @LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia

      I haven’t seen all of those but i’ll check them out. I’ve always been a fan of his. Someone tried to tell me him and Matthew Broderick were basically the same and so couldn’t disagree more. He’s a very Underrated actor even up to spin city and had a good performance on Scrubs. .

    Favorite trilogy is the Blomkamp trilogy. If that doesn’t count because they’re all not related then I’d go with Lord the Rings. Most trilogies screw up with one movie but those are good ones and so are the original Star Wars and new Spider-Man (I like Tobey better but Spider-Man 3 was a mistake).
    MJF’s best film was Back to the Future but my favorite role was him in Spin City.

    • @LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia
      @LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia  11 месяцев назад

      I would still count that as a trilogy, Its very similar to the Edgar Wright's Cornetto trilogy. I also love Spin city, Thats a great choice and you were the first to pick it.

  • @jambou8580

    The trilogy question is always a hard one but l always give the same answer, the Dark Knight trilogy. Christian Bale is my favorite Batman to this point and I loved the darkness that Nolan set this trilogy in, just perfect for Batman obviously. I thought they did a great job with the origin story in Begins. Michael Caine is probably my favorite Alfred as well. And the villains are all well cast with some great performances. Obviously Ledger’s will always be the standout and rightfully so but Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow, Aaron Eckhart as Two Face and Tom Hardy as Bane were all excellent as well. Throw in Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman to boot. Excellent casting all the way around. I will say that there are a few other trilogies that are very close for me but being the Batman fan I am always pushes it to the top I guess. Two others I’ll throw out that I could easily put at the top though are The Lord of the Rings and the original Spider-Man trilogy. LOTR is just epic in every aspect with a great story, also well cast. And I like the Spider-Man trilogy for the same reason. Tobey Maguire just fits that role and the villains are all awesome throughout. Willem Dafoe as Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and Thomas Hayden Church as Sandman were all excellent choices. Casualties of War is a very underrated Michael J Fox movie worth checking out.

      I usually default to the Dark Knight Trilogy myself actually James. I think they stated it out with the best and the worst is Dark Knight Rises but I also have to watch this entire Trilogy every year because at the end of the day that story is so compelling. The Lord of the rings is any other great one and that’s one you can’t just watch one movie in that I have to watch the whole thing lol. I actually haven’t seen that MJF movie. I’ll have to check it out! Thanks James.

    Back to the future part two was highly awaited for me. It was released on a Wednesday, November 22 1989. I live in Canada, I was living in Calgary Alberta at the time. November 22 was cold,we had winter with snow and minus -30 degrees. The theatre that played part two was a huge one cinema theatre. I stood in line for two hours, my feet were frozen during the whole movie. Finally thawed out at the end of the movie when I had to go back outside. I nearly lost my feet due to waiting in line but I thought it was worth it cause I enjoyed the movie and saw it numerous times after that. Part 3 came out in may, it was more of a pleasurable wait in line for that one. Part two was released on video the same week part three was released in theatres. Sorry if I was long winded. lol.

      The first two won best picture, the third was nominated for best picture (and like 7 other Oscar’s)
      It was way better than people think / remember. The only reason it is looked down on is cause the other two were so good.
      Also, if Winnona Ryder hadn’t backed out, or Coppola got on of the other people that auditioned (Julia roberts,) godfather 3 would have won best picture too

      @lordrayden3045 I agree with a lot of that. I wish Winona Ryder hadn’t backed out or if he would of cast anyone else really which I hate saying because ai live her director work. I didn’t think though replacing her fixes the film overall. The new cut is way better and it’s still a good film but not really close to the first two but then again what is lol. Goodfellas compared to this the same year was much better I think.
