I’ve been struggling to learn how to tap strafe since other guides kept it somewhat complex and confusing. But this. This has made my day. After watching the video for about 5 minutes, and repeating what Sensei Faide has taught me, I learned how to tap strafe in less than 15 min. I truly appreciate what you have done for me, Master Faide!
I had the same problem. I've been doing tap strafing wrong for forever. I've always just tried to look where I want to go and tapstrafing forward and that works to a point but sideways (a/d) tapstrafing is so much stronger. I just need to build the muscle memory...
a good way i remember to know my slide timing is finding a reset animation timer on my heirloom weapon.. for example 2 seconds after sliding gibby brings up his left arm (shield arm) which means i can slide jump again. Helps in warm up rounds to get my memory back.
I remember my homie recommending this vid to me when I started, now I have a heirloom and final sunset. You’ve been a real inspiration faide, you helped me realize that I should chase my dreams and never let go.

Hey @Faide you can be 100% consistent with no-slide wallbounces if you time it after the apex/top of the jump. If you're moving upwards without speed your character won't bounce (as far), but moving downwards gives almost as much bounce as sliding into it. Other than that I'm hyped for this and love the guide!
oddly, you explaining tap strafing is what I needed to hear. And you typing the sequence on the screen so I can see the order in button pressing. I seen some other vids but this is the one!! thanks bro!! Subbed!
