The drive mode dial is standard in all Cayennes, even when the Sport Chrono package is not optioned. And the center console controls are for climate only not infotainment

I should be taking delivery of my 2025 Turbo GT in November. I've also got a 2023 Z06 with Z07 package. If you're in the Buffalo or Rochester area I'll let you review it and take it for a ride if ya want.

beautiful but actually totally pointless....think about it....SUV's were initially intended for off road - multiple terrain purpose. Now, SUV's have mutated more and more into superior street high performance cars, which is the space of the original sports car. While such a car is without a doubt an engineering marvel, transforming SUV's into sport cars, is like constructing a circle with the intent to turn it into square. We have become so removed from real and true purpose. We now make and desire things more for the intent "to stand out" or "image" but lost true purpose.

The Cayenne Coupe Turbo was the most vehicle I owned, and now have a sports car. I can only imagine the fun of a 2024 GT. An SUV, is by definition, a mixture of the best parts of both. Think, AT tires. People buying this likely already have the Dakar, 911 GT3, G-Wagon's, probably a full garage.

@@SharkBoy87 Yes, exactly! This is probably the case is a lot of scenarios!

On every review of the Turbo GT, some genius chimes in that this car is pointless and that it’s not even clear who the intended buyer is. Who cares what SUVs were intended for 30 years ago? This is a bad ass car that is a great daily driver for someone that needs practicality but wants crazy performance.

I disagree. As someone who loves sports cars, driving track and high performance vehicles and who can afford them, I also live in central Alberta Canada where 6 months of the year the roads are covered with rutted snow and ice. In addition, the frost heaving makes potholes, washboards and smashed pavement a daily thing. To drive something like a Panamera would be great, but the extra ground clearance in the Cayenne is a life saver. I have had a couple of 911’s, but my current Cayenne Turbo is kind of like my Jack of all Trades… it is brutally fast, comfortable for all-day trips, hauls people and luggage, espcially with the optional roof rack, I can tow my trailer… yet this thing provides me with a driver experience that is so satisfying and exciting that I really don’t miss my 911’s all that much, especially since with winter tires and by raising the suspension, I drive this thing all year long. The Turbo GT is likely going to be my next choice…. Porsche builds performance machines that are practical and thrilling at the same time. I am exactly the kind of customer Porsche has designed this vehicle for.
