I really want to express how much I appreciate you putting together longer videos for us non-stream watchers. There are a couple of other well known channels I also watch that put out good Brawl content as well, but their videos are typically only about half as long as yours which always leaves me hungry for more.
Grist is so funny. People pop off kill and counterspells the absolute second I play em. Folks see a wall of text with a flipwalker and just pull the trigger.
I love how according to the lore Grist just goes on with her happy little life and was completely unaware she was a menace to society until Ajani spoke to her. I also can't get over her voice lines in Arena: "ANOTHER CHILD OF HUNGER! ... hello!"

I love the video Amy. Great showing of Grist, and you have fun doing it which is fantastic. If you’re so inclined a Phlage reanimation deck would be neat to see :) also glad to see you’re feeling better
Yes! We got the worm! Grist seems to be in a lower queue than Sorin and Ajani. I haven’t tested the Ral yet, but it’s interesting to see how they weighted the flip walkers. My own build for Grist focuses a bit more on the self mill aspect. Liliana, Death’s Majesty is her bestie.
Putting in a request for Satya! It plays a lot like Calamity or Delina, but given the inherent evasion and extra colors it's much better. You can also slot in some blink and better interaction/protection, so I've been having a lot of fun with it. It's also sneakily an aggro deck since it's worth running cheap efficient creatures that you can perma-dupe. At some point I wanted to brew him with Modular creatures and animate artifact effects to duplicate some artifacts (I kinda wish he could do that naturally since artificer) but it just made the deck too cute/not strong enough. It does makes for a more unique/novel deck, though.
Please do Coraam, its actually awesome how much ways to play he has, and its very funny to see all the interactions he can make. PD: also is a Gitrog partner ;)
Another amazing video Amy. I hope your ankle is feeling better! Day 2 of asking for a Breya deck 👀 I've made a second version that is 4 colour blink. Turns out having a commander that has removal, life gain, the ability to close out games with is strong, who knew.
@@Amazonian the 4 evoke elements are also sweet. I'm only running solitude, but having access to all the scam and other blink cards makes people leave for some reason 😅
Hey Amy you did a great job navigating the Nadu in game 1, keeping the bird off the board without letting them ramp! If anyone is interested in some more games with Grist in Brawl, I have my own series of Brawl and I'm trying to get my channel up and going. In comparison with Amy's deck, mine is focused more on the small creature reanimation, and especially making opponent discard. I won't put a link in my comment but check out my channel if anyone wants more brawl content!

Watched about 4 minutes of the video and was enjoying it - then I started noticing the horrible background music now I can't focus on anything else. I wish there was a way to mute it, because I really think I would have enjoyed your channel, but I absolutely cannot stand being forced to listen to this music for this long. Hope you might consider removing the music in the future and letting people pick their own background music if they want any. Good luck with your channel.

Or that's just how brawl is played and everytime you play your commander or a planeswalker it usually is a instant kill/counter
