Cool to watch. It makes me remember the Firely Serenity and its crew😁
oh we are all big fans of Firefly thank you! :) and thanks for watching too RuiLeTubo :)
I love to see all those box's stacked to perfection , the Warehouse man in me is most appreciated by this lol
These are so awesome, composed like a movie
hey stolens! :) thank you very much , and for watching again too! :)
Now that's a solid chain there, need one of those for my bike :D
I know right? :D It seemed like the only thing getting in the way and it was unmovable! :D
Gets in the way of cargo boxes too, making it all the more annoying
The Fury does fit in the Cargo Bay, I have both variants in there myself. You need to fly (not tractor beam) it in to the Cargo Bay which is the only one I can get it in. It does need to be in flight mode, but just fly it in nose first and put the targeting reticle to the back wall slightly to the right to avoid the chain. Also be as low to the ground without touching. I've gotten really good at flying in and out, and I use them primarily to fly from the Reclaimer to the space stations so I don't have to fly the Reclaimer all the way to a Pad (its WAY faster to park a Fury in a hanger). I do this to sell the CM in the Reclaimer. WAY better than parking the Reclaimer on a planet to sell the RMC and CM.
How exactly does flying the fury to a pad allow you to sell cm from the claimer? Asking for science reasons...
Space magic portable holes and pocket dimensions with a chance of opening chaos
@@LastPlaceHero You're having access to the station's inventory as soon as you are close enough, even from within your ship. I suppose it works similar with cargo.
Bonus tip: as soon as you have docking clearance, your spawn point is set to the station as well. So you can approach a station, ask for docking clearance and log out as soon as you get it. Next login will be at the station's hab area.
Your external cinematography on the ships is top notch.
Citizen Kate this Reclaimer series you and your organization have been doing has been extremely entertaining and very enjoyable to watch and I look forward to seeing more if you plan to do anymore.
You also might find interesting to know that I understand from other content creators I am watching they are currently working on the economy system even more to adjust everything and it will be interesting to see what they will release to us and how the economy will behave.
Also Kate thank you again for everything that you do and thank you to all the people in your organization for you are great people and I appreciate everything that you do and God bless you to all of you as well.
Love the soundtrack. Just perfect.
thank you Chrysaor :) putting the music together is one of my favorite parts of making these, I do put a lot of time into it so its nice to know it is working :)
When you have multiple pieces being munched it looks like a fireworks show. Love the series. What's next?
Hi from Canada. I store a Fury MX in my cargo hold. You do have to extend the wings and I fly it in and out (not tractored) with gear up. That allows for a bit more maneuvering around that silly chain that DOES get in the way. I use my Reclaimer for salvage and planetside exploration where I have 2x Mules and 1 x Fury MX to explore the area around the Reclaimer that acts as a mobile exploration base.
... absolutely love these Reclaimer videos. So good.
Came a cross this Life abord serise today and have to say i enjoyed the watch and seeing people play the game as a team is great
Loving this series, fully binged it like its citizenflex. Cheers Kate and crew.
another wonderful video and I have to say adding in the music is just such a great touch thank you so much.
I had bugs with my reclaimer that claiming it didn't clear. I eventually left it outside Grim Hex and grabbed my SRV - then towed the Reclaimer into an asteroid at high speed. Once I did that, claiming the Reclaimer returned everything to 100% "normal".
Loadmaster is a trade in the Military, Nice work Loady !!
Excellent as always great job keep them coming please, you guys find the little ways and the big ways this game is so cool thanks again.
Love the music and 3rd person shots.
These are fun... I particularly enjoy the editing, narration and music mix. It reminds me of those reality TV shows and documentaries.
Great work!
Awesome music this episode too! Love this series
I remember seeing a 25k or so bounty for you while playing in the same server, funny that this is what it was for
just a 'tid-bit' for ya all the pilot can scan ships to see if there is cargo onboard saves alot of back and for.... just have to go into scan mode by pressing V then left mouse button hold to scan it hopefully this helps
It's Okay Katie if you're a bad pilot, you have the precision of a Surgeon with a Rail Gun (that makes up for it).
Okay Kate.. ( and yeah will,, 🙄,, sorry Will,, everyone takes a dig at you ,, ((come on 'Kate',, is the star)) ),,, I have been watching your vids since the Eleite dangerous days,... and followed you here to Star Citizen,,
I my humble opionion,, you have developed a brilliant knack for putting your videos together,, ,, the editing,, the screen shots and external shots,, are amazing,, I can't even imagne the computer you have now to be able to play this game so smooth, ( let along compile all your vids up to RUclips) , the team,, and teammates you have put together,, and the sheer amount of time you take to put these videos out,, ,, I applaud you ,👏👏👏,
having said all that,,
can you please tell the name of the songs you used when you were munching the ships,,
again another Brlliant choice of music,,
but what a great song,,
and it helps to promote the artist you used with the songs,, along with your series of Videos
I hope you can take the time to acknowledge these musicians and share the songs ,, please
hey there mauricester :) yes certainly, the first song was called 'Glory Bound' and its by Roy Williams, and the second one is 'riverboat rambler' by Bo the Drifter - both are part of Epidemic Sounds library of tracks :)
Salvage everything !
hahaha that's the life for sure! :D
There really needs to be some larger doors on the sides or rear of the reclaimer. I love mine, but moving cargo to another ship is a way to long and tedious process. A ship as large as the Reclaimer should not have just an elevator to move larger containers in and out. Also, as a giant ship, hopefully the future rework will add a larger cargo area.
Use the chute at the back of processing. 16Sscu boxes fit down it. Have 1 person below and 1 throw them down
There's a chute?!
Coooool
You don't have to physically go into the salvage ships to search for cargo, If you use your ships scanner, it will tell you just what cargo it's carrying and what it is.
Doesn't always work, unfortunately.
i spoke about this before but Reclaimer really needs a rework for the interior, for doors and elevator sizes and stuff like that.
For the fury what you do is get the lift as high as it can go, ascend about a meter off of it in the fury leaving the engine on so it just hovers there you can get out onto the elevator and the fury will just hover there.. You can get into it again but need another to lower the elevator to get out.
Another theory i have is do the same thing but turn off the sheilds and try to tractor it down instead of jumping into it and controlling it but not sure if the engines will over power a tractor beam you can use as a player.
oh my god it was so frustrating seeing the attempts at yanking the ship in with the tractorbeam at obviously impossible angles, like a toddler trying to smash the right pegs into the right holes
Here is the trick. Use the chain to your advantage.
- Land on the elevator with your Fury - standard landing gear. Optionally get out of the fury if you are solo.
- Go to the cargo hold deck with the elevator
- Get back in the fury (if you left it) and set your speed limiter to the lowest moving level for maneuvering.
- tap space (lift) long enough to get off the deck
- bring up landing gears and rotate your wings. (alt-k)
- turn your fury into the bay - and use your left top turret to touch the 'right side' of the chain - to limit you from moving farther left.
- thrust forward into the bay and land.
If you get hanged up on the chain, you just need to back-up and insure that left top turret on the fury is to the right of that chain first before moving forward.
No tractor needed. Once you get used to it - you can move in and out in seconds.
Have fun flying in your newly Ship Launched Vehicle!
I love to watch you videos!please continue with your great work! greetings Masume 😊
Using the cargo bay might be viable with one or two more people. One person loads the elevator from salvage processing. The other person stays in the cargo hold and unloads the elevator there. No one rides in the elevator. Just use comms to let the other person know when it is done being loaded or unloaded and the person on the other deck can call the elevator. Probably safer too until there is a cargo grid on the elevator.
So close with the fury lol. Awesome video! Shame there are salvage bugs, hopefully they fix the scraping soon as that's good money now.
Love the music!
These are so nice
Good vid. Clearly CIG is going to have to make a 2.0 of this ship.
Yeah there are definitely areas that could do with a rework. dont get me wrong we've grown to love it and all of its quirks but spending this much time with it definitely gives you some ideas on changes that could be made :)
negligent homicide lmao
maybe make a convoy? 2 fighters for protection and a c2 for extra cargo and vehicles,
it can fit 3 pisces in that thing
yeah that sounds like a great plan! we'll have to give it a go sometime soon :)
the only problem i see is that no variant of the pisces currently allows bedlogging sadly - it would have to be auroras maybe?
@@Citizen_Kate oh i was sure the non rescue had a bed, my bad. for sure you can fit 2 auroras in there and those could double as protection.
you might be able to fit 3x 100i in there.
Does a 100i have a bed? Smaller than an aurora I think
@@NotStellarNoja yes it does, might fit 3 of those on an angle, not in length
nice video, you get more material if you get in between 60 and 53 km away
I leave my Fury on the Reclaimer's cargo lift. It's easy enough to walk around it.
Hey if you head to the pilot seat on the reclaimer and open the exterior the trap door on the end of the reclaimer (back of the salvage processing / slavge cargo opens youll might be able to fit the fury throught there
You guys can easily fit 5 or 6 16SCU boxes down the cargo chute at the back of the room and a whole buffer 's worth of 16SCU boxes up on the gantry at the top of the room.
from my work as a Box Monkey, you can fit 18 16SCU boxes in the Salvage Hold, plus 4 in the chute to bring it to floor level, then you can stack on top. As well as about 16-17 16SCU boxes up on the balcony. There's a lot of space in the ship when you know where and how to look.
I enjoy you folks. If you ever need a "red shirt" or an extra, I'd be happy to join.
I do x3 m2 or c2s, being a mixture of general and personal contracts...costing me 150k in fees and fuel...earnings of 400scu after processing with another 230 in the buffer... 3 hours work for 4.5mill...
Pirates or police sometimes engage but the fwd shield never gets below 3 when turned up to max...and i jump out of their...
Firstly I love your videos! But about the issues with not being able to hull scrape I bet CIG did not fix the buffer to accept the two different structural salvage and hull scraped salvage at the same time. So if that be the case then the buffer would need to be emptied fully of the structural before it would allow for hull scraping to occur. Or I may just be crazy! I have a vulture only but haven't tested the theory myself. Anyways thanks for the great entertaining vids!
Well it works for me, but then I did also remove the two tractor beams and replace them with cinch modules...worked a treat from the left hand seat...
@@Tink-GB Yea same. YOu can absolutely hold CM and RMC at the same time, they are kept separate and you eject them separately. You can have one Salvage station printing out CM and the other RMC or do any combo you ejecting you want.
What's the name of that song during the salvage begins section? Was quite digging that one.
hey there marvin, the song is called 'Glory Bound' by Roy Williams :)
Again love the video ! I will claim my reclaimer again watching thoses videos. 👍👍👍
(Btw did someone know the name of the song at 11:00 ? I cant find it)
I need to find a crew like this in SC
have u tried the ramp the opens on salvage hold when u hit open all?
meanwhile my reclaimer gets stuffed to the gills, snap or no, if it fits I'm putting it there.
Hopefully the make an upgradeable buffer for salvage ships.
I have found that I can scrape RMC once I've activated salvaging mode in the claw operator seat. I have to test it out some more to really confirm it, but there's at least a chance it might be a workaround?
Any possibility of some Reclaimer on Reclaimer violence? 😈😝
Use 16's instead of the 8's and then line the edges with 2's :)
Ther actually aren't 4s...only 1,2,8 and 16...and if you switch sizes with auto eject on, it ignores the switch...another thing never realised, and needs to be fixed.
@@Tink-GB Yeah, I meant 2's. Always call them 4's for some reason
I left my fury on the elevator and seems to ok
@katie you mentioned Queensland. Are you from Australia? If so, awesome I’m from Victoria 😊
Its the little things that make it such a headache lol. I wonder if they could do a "Stage" for each section depending on size so that way you can get the most out of the salvage before hitting the limit. I imagine that there will be cases that you may lose some salvage if its a smidge more than the limit wouldn't it?
btw - workers comp >_> jk
*Discord Noises*
what VR/IR headset are you using??
I'm pretty sure it's tobii eye-tracker 5 but could be wrong
Isnt it supposed to be the reunion rail 2?? Lol
haha yes i suppose it should be now! good catch! :D
All good. Glad you are feeling better btw. Great vids
Those chains in the cargo are dumb as hell
Just how much damage did you do that Fury?
I thought that was going to be the disaster in 'the wake of disaster' ...I don't yet have a computer that will run this game so I'm not familiar with mission titles.
guess i've been lucky I solo reclaimer this mission all the time with noone showing up
The HH cleanup jobs just spawning back2back for everyone makes for way too easy money so I guess no-one is interested in paying 150k for the disaster location when they could be paid 250k for the location of a HH to salvage.
If it requires this much effort to get it in… what’s the point. 😂 I mean, it pretty much destroys all practicality.
The Reclaimer's cargo bays have been designed by a 5 year old. It needs a complete rework
Err....5 year olds that originally never had an idea or were told that one day someone would add in 8 and 16 scu boxes...thats then caused the grid and space issues...
Originally the buffer was no more than 4SCU per side, before having to go back and suck some more.
YES. they were never designed to fit the new boxes for snap-to-grid and worse even to snap-to-stack! Dumb chains everywhere need to go obviously. The entire section thats wasted to the perpectual animation of the granding spindles. at least turn off the perpetual animation like the things ALWAYS grinding somthing. Yea, a kid made that cause it "looked cool!" .. smh.
I just don't see the point of bringing the Fury onboard. It would take so long to get it in and out that it would be pointless in an emergency. If you want an escort, wouldn't you be better off having someone dedicated to that role in say, a heavy fighter or something?
Unfortunate that you guys tried scraping both a reclaimer and a corsair. Both of those ships have weird dead spots where you can't get salvage by scraping. On the Reclaimer nearly the entire front of the ship cannot be scraped.
SECOND !
well done rasfok :) and thank you very much for watching too ;)
press R and u can rotate it in many directions... all she is doin here is pushing and pullin
