I am 68 years old and I grew up loving Hugh Beaumont as the Father on Leave It To Beaver and Ozzie Nelson as the "real" Father on The Ricky Nelson Show. And of course time passed, and I did watch Bob on Full House (from time to time). I thought this show was okay and somewhat entertaining, but I preferred the 50's - 60's shows. NO DOUBT Bob Saget was a good, descent and honest human being and I have absolute respect for his personal character and his family. When I read on-line that he had died, I could hardly believe it (at 65 years old). Then I did some research and found out that his Father and two of his Father's brothers died from severe heart disease. I have no idea if Bob was ever diagnosed with "any" health problems, however a silent massive heart attack could be the culprit. I pray that he did not experience any pain or suffering. He lived a very good life and everyone that knew him - loved him !!!

After multiple failed takes, Dave suggested all the guys take their pants off in order to lighten the mood. They did, and it was major comic relief. “The crew’s dying, and the producers - everybody’s cracking up. About 30 seconds later…here comes Jodie Sweetin’s mom and Candace Cameron’s mom.” Yikes! Over 20 years ago my cousin Amy got married and the reception was at The Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn. I was having a few drinks with my uncles when my cousin Mandy pulled me out of the bar area to talk to me. Another custom that's interesting. Jewish people don't send flowers to the funeral home where the service takes place. Amongst Jews, flowers have no place at a somber occasion such as a funeral. Jews associate flowers with life, not death. The flowers on Bob Sagets grave are most likely from friends, business associates and/or fans who are gentiles (non-Jewish).

It’s very common to feel this way. Especially with a bad childhood. I hung on to good role models like sports figures. Who knows if they were good people. I was young. But I think they do save a lot of people. As a kid u can go down different roads. And some of those roads are dark.

He was a world-class pervert beloved by children and adults alike. The way in which satanic imagery and inappropriate sexual content was intertwined with many of our childhoods is touching. Danny Tanner is the dad but Bob Saget was the goat. If you're unable to visit the gravesite of the great Bob Saget maybe you can make it to the grave site of Jimmy Savile and pay your respects there

I don’t even know you and I now have absolutely zero respect for you. Less than that actually.
Do you even know how low and defeated a person must feel to get to the point of taking their life? To the point where they feel like all hope is lost and absolutely nothing, not even those that they love can pull them back from? Of course not. Because by your comment I can automatically assume, and I will, that you have no feelings.
You don’t understand the mental and/or physical pain and suffering a person goes through day after fucking day. I’m sick and tired of hearing people accuse those who have committed suicide as selfish.
Yes it does hurt those still living, and yes it also unfortunately does lead to blame sometimes as well. But the person who died felt so at the end of their rope that they thought suicide would release them from the horrors they lived with. No one could even *BEGIN* to understand the mind of a suicidal person unless you were once at that point yourself.

@@PITviper217 Exactly, well stated, people have no idea. I had an uncle that committed suicide like 25 years ago when I was only 10 years old, that's when I learned at the young age of 10, how fragile the human mind can be, and how life and death works. I wasn't mad when I found out my uncle took his life, I was genuinely concerned and had no idea he was so depressed the last several years of his life. My Aunt found him when she came home from work, she couldn't find him inside the house, so she went outside, and found him behind their barn they had, he had shot himself behind the barn. Later on, she found a lengthy letter he wrote her on the kitchen table, she never told us what he wrote in the letter, she kept that private. As far as my uncle, he was a very easy going, friendly person, I never had any problems with him, but he must have been great at putting on a fake smile, to make people think he was okay, when he wasn't. Very sad, and unfortunate that nobody was able to help him.

If I wasn't going to be home when it was on or if I couldn't watch for some other reason, I always made sure to tape it to watch later. I was OBSESSED with Full House as a kid. I'm now 40 years old and I still watch the reruns for a good dose of nostalgia. I also would frequently watch America's Funniest Home Videos with my parents growing up. I still cannot believe he is gone. This came way out of left field and it just doesn't seem real. He was much too young to go and should have been with us for another good 20-30 years.
