Hands down the best explanation I’ve seen for this! Was looking at a different video trying for over an hour to get it on correctly. Found your video and did it on the first try! Thank you!
Do it broke the fragile part, and I don’t wanna buy to replace, a bit of the fragile part is connected to my lb button, if I break this off and click it in, and maybe put something between the edge of controller and lb button, will it still work?
Links are in the description. I tried to write you a more complete answer with all the links few days ago but my comment seems to have been deleted. Make sure the part are the correct one for your controller. Each gen have different type of bumper.
i cant figure out why one of the shoulder buttons don't have full clearance when i put int he new part. i bought the correct part for the correct controller model. when i press down on a shoulder button, it also presses down on the trigger.

You can try to sand the parts a little bit where there is contact. It will help

Would this work on day one controllers
On Day One controller, LB and RB are separate pieces. They can definitely be changed but the way to do it will be different.
@@RepairResell ok then would you know where I could find a repair guide
Your Xbox One controller model is 1537. This number should help you out to find a proper guide on Google :)

ATTENTION if your right bumper or left sticks here’s how to fix it get a t8 screwdriver and use it to break the ring under the right bumper
You can also try to sand the parts a little bit.
Big help, thank you!

Sometimes, the "new" part doesn't fit properly. When it happens, I usually send a little bit of the new part to remove any excess plastic.
A little late but I'm having issues connecting the plate after setting the bumpers. Any recommendations?
You need to be patient and install it from the back to the front. It's a bit tricky but it will finish by fitting in place.
Does anyone know where I can find a 3D file for the bumper part for 3D printing?
I got the same controller that need to be repaired
