its actually a very competitive alternative considering the cost of harnesses and dash kits for aftermarket head units

Wondering if this is still necessary with the VXi amplifiers or did that functionality get integrated into that line?

If you are adding four component speakers with their crossovers to a factory radio do you still need something like this?

Do i need to use the drc or can i retain my factory volume/ steering wheel volume?
To have to use another dedicated volume control kinda defeats the purpose of keeping that factory look

Hello! Is it possible to splice into the remote turn on wire on my head unit wiring harness if it is already being used for something else? I had previously soldered the remote turn on wire on my after market wiring harness to the antenna wire that came with my factory wiring harness, but I would like to additionally solder the remote turn on wire that came with my amp wiring kit to the remote turn on wire on my after market wiring harness (even though it is already soldered to my antenna wire). I was unsure if splicing into a wire that is already in use for something else in order to add an additional wire (which would be the remote turn on wire from my amp kit) would put me at a risk for a short, or if the wire would not supply a strong enough signal to turn my amp on & off since it would have to be spliced into my remote turn on wire that is already supplying power to the antenna wire. Thanks in advance!

I've got a question for you. If I want to install a sound system in my 84 Jeep that consists of a soundboard with a built in amplifier that comes out to 280 watts and then wire a sub to that with a 1200 watt class a/b amplifier can my stock 63 amp alternator handle that or would I want to consider an upgrade for my alternator. Also if I upgrade it how many amps should I go for.

I had the fix86 installed on my cadillac at and my issue is that when i listen to music at low volume it shuts off. I've taken it to have that issue fix and they always have a different answer. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Yes have the remote wire turn on wired up instead of signal turn on. Installers often skip this step cause its easier to go that route

jesus tabares usually that happens when your alternator gets too hot, I usually just pour water on my alternator and it doesn't jump after that.
