You need to cut some off the back benches back leggs to make it level. You have a dip in the middle between the two sections

Hey just subbed! So....I have a question. You didn't want to have the ability to use that fold-up seat next to your cot for lounging? Just curious if you actually used it? Thanks! Great videos glad I found you!

New Sub here, starting our platform bed on Monday, getting some tips and ideas, did you use 1/2 or 3/4 in this platform?

Pretty tricky to make all three sections leveled together! First of all, you have to have a leveler on hand. Secondly, make sure the ground that your van parked on is somewhat leveled. And lastly, pick the final position that all three sections will stay FOREVER before trimming their legs to make them fit together. Good luck on your bed build.👍 I was going to go with this built, but my OLD Sienna is not as spacious as your van.☹️

Yes, it's a definitely an adventure! I'm not much of a carpenter. But the cost was less than $50 for the lumber so I figured it's a good practice! Thanks for watching! :)

Hi there do you have an email I may write you? I jus thought the same van a few days ago and wrote down these measurements you said. Is the additional 18 inch piece still32 wide or 48??? And for the store and go seats you left the back I see but what did you do just remove the middle for extra floor storage? Thanks!!

Hey Justin. At the time I don't have an email. You can DM me on Twitter or Instagram though. My entire platform is 48" wide. A full size bed is 53" so it's just shy of that. I haven't taken any seats out yet as the van sometimes gets used for other purposes. Thanks for watching!
