Top tip if you're thinking about making music for movies.
Pick a scene from any movie you like, have it on mute and see what kind of music your brain makes up for the scene.
Try to follow along writing it into FL while you're doing it.
Hans Zimmer is one of my idols and doing that helps me to make Movie type music like him.

The reason the chord didn't sound good is because you placed a minor chord underneath a riff in a major key which created dissonance

Use the Layer function in FL Studio :) Just search for it on RUclips.

Uh... can anyone tell me how to put the Koji on FL Studio? I've just downloaded it but I can't figure out how to use it for FL studio. Can somebody help me please?

Not sure if it's an installer or just a .dll but either install it or move it to the VST Plugins folder. In FL Studio go to Options -> File Settings -> Manage Plugins and on the left you'll see your plugins folders. So move Koji in that folder. Then in FL Studio on the left is your browser with plugins. Go to Plugin Database folder -> Installed -> Generators and right click on Generators and click on Refresh Plugins list (fast scan) and your Koji plugin should pop up. Hope that helps.
