Great video, thanks. I have a couple of dumb questions -why do you need to configure sip binding to interface even when there is no wan connectivity during srst? -i'm using ip dhcp on the router for the phones . in voice register pool, you put the command id network for the phones, do i still need this even i have dhcp?
-That is control and media traffic for sip ip phones. -You are registering your ip phones with your SRST router, so sip ip phones need to the correct subnet.
Hi, Thank you Shailendra, you can not send a text or sms from cisco IP Phones, you need Cisco IM&P server to cover Instant Messaging then you need to integrate it with CUCM and send text from Jabber clients, Good luck!
What Srst licenses are required , how do we activate it.

Hi Shabnam, this is really a good video. I have a question apart from it. Can we send the sms or text from Cisco IP phone?
