- My neighbors have only been on cheapy entry level scooters and I wanted to see if they liked something much more powerful like the Yume Raptor. After a short ride, I asked if they would buy one. I'll also go over all the features and will let you know if I think the Yume Predator is something new or experienced riders should consider.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

What did you pay for it if you don’t mind me asking
I have the yume 2023 x11+ that has the new updated controllers and screen as this one does. I'm 260lbs and top speed I hit on flat gps tested was 47mph before I bailed out. Even with the dampener installed, it gets a little shaky. As far as range, mine also has the updated 30 amp hour Samsung 50E pack inside. While 30 amp hour sounds like a lot, it really gets killed with dual motor high speed rides. I did almost 25 miles of hard riding and had to walk it home the last 2-3 miles. The bms is setup to restrict power at 51 volts, even though a 60v battery is empty at 48. If range is a need for you, then definitely single motor for most of your ride, with occasionally going dual if you have to keep up with traffic for a bit, or get yourself out of trouble. I would say if you ride conservatively and between 25-30 mph, you'll get 35 miles or so.
Are you satisfied with x11+? How is the build quality? I'm thinking about buying one.
@@TAXAP I am 100% satisfied with the X11+. It is big and roomy for my size 13 shoes. The suspension is really good for big bumps, but I have to be honest, it is not so good for smaller ones. The fact that it comes with functional blinkers is great for me because I ride at night (I work night shift). The LED lights are great. The speed is ridiculous. I would say if you ride between 30-40mph, that's the sweet spot. I wish they had put in a bigger battery, because when I opened the deck, there's plenty of wasted space that's in there. For the price, I would say it's hard to beat the X 11+, just keep an eye on your need for speed.
Yeah seems like with the Raptor they mapped it for range instead of Top Speed. The Y and X would smoke this all day but would lose in the range test. Thanks for your input

That wobble is the tires. They are not balanced at all. Then i added slime to em. First time i went 45 it felt more like a skitter sensation. Ive worn those tires in a bit and it smooths out. However i got a set of road tires just waiting for the stock tires to wear out. Thanks for the vid.

@@ElectricRevolution Figured out a pretty cool thing for the yume raptor. Out of the blue at about 600 miles i noticed a wobble when slowing down when driving over 40 mph. Turns out there is a bearing ring at the bottom of the stem that you can tighten with your coilover spanner. I had checked the allen screw underneath and it was always tight but when i held the wheel beteen my shoes the stem was just a little loose side to side. It had worked loose enough that i had a bit of play in the steering. Im not sure how tight the bearing ring is supposed to be so personally i just tightened it until the play was gone. Thats probably a common thing but hey its new to me.

@@ElectricRevolution I purchased the Raptor last week, should be delivered today. I ordered it with the road tires and it’s coming with a steering damper. Can’t wait to try it out! Hope I made a good decision
been seriously looking at this model as a second scooter kinda bums me out that it wont hit 50 mph. May still purchase if it gets good range. with a 30 amp hour battery im thinking it should be able to do some decent miles ............. in the video he didnt give a figure of real world distance. if anybody out there in you tube land knows how far this will go feel free to let me know .................... thanks.
if i was more of an average weight person id be alot of help. I however weigh 290 dressed and im generally at 56 volts after 35 miles. I live in hills and i average about 26 mph. The off road tires will drag you to a stop even downhill so with some good tires even my fatness could go well over 40 miles.

Having reviewed both the x11 and the raptor. Which one is better? Or what are the major differences?
Raptor is a much bigger scooter and has more power, if you add a steering dampner to the Raptor, that would be my choice

@@morrismorris4973 I just got my raptor and has been pretty great on first few rides. Although I realized the sent the handlebar holder installed backwards. I just fixed that and now will take my first ride with new adjustments today.
Starting with "This is a 2000$ scooter" is a bit misleading
The real line should be "This is a 1500$ scooter with a premium option to get Samsung battery at 2000$ which is completely useless and provide almost no difference vs original battery except in very specific niche use-case where you would ride it for 40 miles until it's out of power"
