That looks fantastic! Thanks bud, will make.

Love me some jalapeño cornbread. Especially with some red beans and rice. My dad used to make it all the time when I was a kid.
Great video and recipe. 👍
Thanks, Ray! This would be perfect with some red beans and rice. Shoot I might do that this weekend.
My guilty pleasure cornbread 😋
If you haven’t tried this version, definitely give it a shot. Huge hit at our house. Thanks for swinging by, Alastor!
This is a mouth watering recipe😋😋😋😋😋
Thank you!!
I have never seen a cornbread recipe that uses yogurt. I just made a pot of chili this weekend so what goes better with chili than cornbread. I will give this recipe a try exactly as presented because it looks like it came out great! Thank you for sharing and I always look forward to your next video.
Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes yogurt is a secret ingredient for cornbread that helps keep it moist and fluffy. If you hate dry crumbly cornbread greek yogurt helps a ton. Let me know how you like it and thanks again!
Can't wait to make this with chili on Sunday!
YES! That sounds perfect.
great job kind sir😋💚💥
Thanks so much!
I have a batch of chili simmering on the stove right now and this would go perfect with it. I may just have to do this tomorrow.
Yeah buddy! Let me know how you like it and thanks for watching.
@@outdoorindoortexan It came out really good! I had to substitute masa and extra milk since I stupidly forgot to buy corn meal and yogurt today. I'm sure the real recipe will be come out even better. Also, next time I'm going to add some crispy thick cut bacon.
That’s awesome! I love the bacon idea. I’ll have to do that next time as well.
I get lost listening to his friendly voice rather than focusing on the recipe. Rascal!
Haha thank you for listening!
Next time, rather than putting the jalapeños on top of the batter try this: 1. Before pour batter in the pan, pour a thin layer of a mixture of honey and melted butter, 2. Place your jalapeños in the honey-butter, 3. Place your batter and bake, 4. Flip it out like a pineapple upside down cake.
Thanks I’ll try that!
