It sucks how underrated this game is, the psychology behind everything, the dialogue, the gameplay, it didnt feel clunky like in bioshock 1, its my favorite bioshock game, definitely a hidden gem
Its really such a great experience all around, I love the parallels and differences it shares with the first game, like even though lamb is very different from ryan you almost start to see him a bit in her. a really amazing game all around
Crowtastic video my feathered friend. I think it got way more hate than it deserved when it dropped, the gameplay honestly knocked my socks off. And the setting arguably felt more "lived in" whatever that means. Can we talk about minerva's den??? Rented this one from a redbox. My mom caught me glued to the screen and asked what it was about. I told her and she said "you're gonna wanna buy this one aren't you?" I sheepishly nodded and she disappeared before coming back with a copy
Oh 100% Rapture feels more alive in Bio2 just becasue the audio tapes have way more other people in them, just like average people surviving rapture rather then just Frank Ryan, Atlas and Tenenbaum. And good god Minerva's den was a great story holy hell had no right being that destructive to my heart twice in 1 day
You're videos have been an absolute gem to watch. Funny, good audio (which is very important to me), fairly concise, and good editing! I have a feeling that your channel will grow so keep at it crow!
Much appreciated Sir Cat lord of destruction 👀 lmao and yeah one thing I am really trying to work on is being a bit more concise, I talk in circles a lot but trying to catch it 🧐 we shall learn and improve bit by bit haha
Watching this after your borserlands the pre sequel stream you had today. Had i blast over there, really looking forwards to seeing your channel grow..you have something special here
I always killed Gil on accident, because i thought that pressing the button was required to leave the room. I was always super confused when the spare everyone achievement didn't unlock. Took me years to realize you can just take the card thing and leave gil.
So fun fact this is my most favorite game of all time, drill hand down. its also one of my very first video games ever, introduced tp me by my older bro at a young age. on my first playthrough i was also caught by 'you taught me' and it had me question my morals, especially when i looked up how the game determines endings. As much as i hate Stanly pool for all of the horrible awful things hes done, and i can and cant understand the torture's gil alexander goes through both pre transformation knowing what he'll become and post with him being trapped doing awful things but still wanting to live on. if i want the best ending not for me but for Elenore i would have to forgive one and/or ignore the final wishes of a dying man turned monster. On a side note you dont NEED to harvest twice before returning the little sisters to vents. the first time yes as part of the tutorial but after that you can walk up to any vent at any time after adopting one to either save or harvest one. you miss out on the very important extra Adam but you save time and recourses. the choice is yours if you want to spend time with your adopted daughter. It may have had a bad launch with (imo) harsh and unjust criticism. but there's a reason people came around on this game. Good vid. first time seeing your channel so i might check out some other stuff. love the cute little crow. - some random raccoon
@@JustAhCrowThe pvp was fun. It even had small amount of lore as the the it took place during the civil war. It was cool to see your apartment where you customized your characters and loadouts, get more damaged as you leveled up. I think your character even started to look mere messed up as you leveled.
You think Bioshock 1 is better until you realize the Alpha, Rumbler & Lancer big daddies aren't there. _(The obligatory 2010s era Multiplayer mode was 10 years ahead of it's time and still unmatched )_
Apparently bioshock 2 caught a lot of flak but I fucking loved it do I think it’s better than 1? No but it damn well comes close I’d argue they’re about the same as each other in how good they are but damn it’s a hard toss up choosing between them idk I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t like this entry in the series (I understand not liking infinite) although I honestly love that one as well because it had that mystery factor that 1 had
Yeah I did a bit of looking about for 2 and was kinda shocked it wasn't well received by a lot of people, I honestly think its great, might not be as shocking as 1 but with them both it creates this magical story
The story might be mid imo, but it really fleshes out Rapture and the combat is incredible. The only thing that keeps me from loving this game is that, well It’s terrible And I don’t mean that it’s poorly made, or that it’s not fun, it’s just every single port of the game has massive issues. I have played the OG and Remastered on PC with a great gaming laptop and Remastered on PS4. Every version bugs out and crashes constantly due to the abhorrent optimization overloading the CPU of whatever device you run it on, and they made some extremely… questionable, decisions. I tried to play it on PS4 for years but never properly could, as not only would it crash all the time, but it wouldn’t let me save. I was extremely confused and angry, and couldn’t figure it out until recently. Apparently Bioshock 1 and 2, at least on console, share the same save file despite being 2 entirely different games and applications. Meaning in order to properly play Bioshock 2, you must not only own Bioshock 1, but have it downloaded and delete all the save files from the first game, to make room for Bioshock 2 save files This fucking confounds me, who the hell came up with this idea and thought it was okay?
Wow yeah that's quite the experience, I heard something about the BioShock collection that while infinite ran fine Bio 1 and 2 really really didn't like being combined in one place I think that's why they stopped selling it on steam and other online places not really sure if that was why but would make sense. But yeah it sucks but is an unfortunate fact that a game can be amazing, but a bad port will kill a lot of the good will it has just because well people can't get the damn thing to work 😭

hahaha glad your enjoying! and yeahhhhh the work schedule due be a fickle chick, but gotta make some time to relax right haha

.......yeah I kinda didnt realize that on the 2nd playthough I did and accidently killed him 🤣🤣🤣 MY BAD BUD
I really love the art style and atmosphere of the bioshock franchise definitely one of the best franchises.
100% agree everything about the art is just so inspired, and god the soundtrack of both games is really something else 🤩
The Video is so good i did watcht some part 2 times pls keep it up
Ayyyy means a lot friend! 😁 I will do my best!

🤣 I think I'm gunna have to at this point, for one they're fun to sneak in there and 2 eh i like em 🤣 hey at least I wasn't BIOSHOOK 🧐🫡🤣
@@JustAhCrowoh god, okay that was way past corny and straight into popcorn!
bioshock 2 in short : big daddy with a big drill
Accurate and honest hahaha
Awesome Video to an absolutely amazing Game!
Ayyy much appreciated! and seriously such an amazing game sad I'm just now experiencing it hahah
I await your eventual dive into the Deus Ex games with great interest.
Welp they're on the list now hahaha god the list is supposed to be getting shorter but every week I add like 9 games to it 🤣
Can't wait for his reaction to infinite
I can hardly wait either 🤩 hopefully we will get to it sooner rather than later!
This game had a pvp mode
Literally my favorite multiplayer of all time, the combat was so dang engaging.
It was a lot of fun
IT DID? wait that sounds so cool damn I missed it

I TRIED SO HARD NOT TO PUT IT IN THE VIDEO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the cut of your jib G keep it up
Much appreciated friend! 😁
Bioshock is by far my favorite video game franchise of all time. I cant wait for you to try out infinite! The DLC are perfect to top it all off
Very much looking forward to infinite, can't wait to see what the 3rd installment has in store for this story😁😁

Are you gonna full review minerva's den dlc? aka the peak of the franchise yes even better than 1 which many would agree
Most likely not a full review of just the DLC, I kinda want to do something about the story as it really was fantastic
This game for me wasn't as amazing as bioshock or bioshock infinite but bioshock 2 is still a fairly solid game in the series.
Interesting, gotta get my butt to infinite then 🧐
Kool 👍
A cat in a sombrero has left Kool as a comment......I HAVE PEAKED 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Wait which ones did he? Also why?
