Mate, this video is exactly what I needed! If there's one thing that I would personally prefer, is that the intro and pre-talk wouldn't be so long. Straight to the point and presentation - because this is where it really shines.
Another great video showing a different facet of motorcycling. I just saw a video of President Biden arriving in NYC for a UN meeting. NYPD, NYFD boats, trucks, cars by the dozens. About twenty PD motorcycles arriving for escort and one of the guys used his front brake to stop from slow speed with his right foot down on the ground! You had better get back up there and straighten things out!!!

Good information sir I walk my bike up the ramp into the van using my throttle clutch and brake. My ramp is a little steep and a lot narrower. I roll it backward using the clutch like you mentioned with the bike off.
I also use this method when I'm on wet grass. I have a very small garage and my driveway is sloped so when I come home I pull onto my lawn to turn it around and when it's wet or damp it can be very slippery. My lawn is also slopped so if I just use the front brake I find it can slide and I can loose control of it. With a larger bike (Electra Glide) whenever the front tire starts sliding it's very easy to loose control of it. So when I back it up to turn it around I use the clutch to control the speed to keep it under control. Works great. Later

As simple and straightforward this is, this technique never crossed my mind. Kind of trust&believe in reverse! 😊 Could you do a video on how to properly secure your bike using straps for the side to side swaying in addition to the condor. Bought a used RK and used my condor, but the side straps completely let go when I arrived home. Luckily the condor held her from falling over. I did watch your condor video but you didn’t strap the bike down in that video. I’m subscribed thank you.
I strap mine down around the front forks. Another tip is to make sure to get 3-4 wraps on the ratchet. This will prevent the straps from coming loose. On the rear of the bike you can use the passenger peg mounts. Hope this helps!
@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures Thanks for your input Joe. I really don’t recall how many wraps I had on the ratchet. First time strapping down a bike and was surprised to see the mini straps I used on crash bars separated from floor track d-rings. I normally secure my sub compact front end loader or zero turn mower with no incidents.

What a day to stumble on your channel. Saw a short earlier and instantly subbed. Picking up a new ride tomorrow and will be loading and unloading the ramp. I used to ride the track and would load the bike multiple times a month...but that was decades ago. This was not only a great refresher...but I learned something new using the clutch. Thank you!
