We moved to Utah over a decade ago - trust me the character Jane plays is an accurate portrayal of MANY Utah moms. It's fun/ entertaining to watch Jane's videos however people should understand the lifestyle (obsession with exterior appearance, keeping up with the neighbors, over-spending, hyper-competitive in ALL facets of one's life...) is extremely toxic/ unhealthy. You are seeing a small glimpse into the reasons why the majority of Utah women are on antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications. For 30 years my husband has practiced medicine (physician/surgeon) in several states and two countries - Utah patients are in a league all its own when it comes to poor mental health.
The sad and the best part is that she is pretty much on target for how Utah Mom's are!!! I love Jane, and her husband is actually a good guy, and is way more supportive than most hubby's would be!!
