That other mom influencer who makes fun of Utah Moms and calls her fictional daughter ChickenLee is the absolute best!!!!!😂😂😂
“Oh my heck” she is hilarious!!!! 🤣
She is my new favorite 😂❤
She is the BEST what is her @ name if you know?
Do you mean Jane Insane??? She is absolutely hilarious 😂
Oh my heck girlie!
I despise TikTok and all influencers. What a dumb part of modern society.
I AGREE TOTALLY. THERE ALL PIGS THAT BELONG IN A BARN YARD
How is TikTok any different from RUclips or twitter?
@@PennyPennyPennyPennyPenny length and purpose of videos
@@sariew8853 this isn’t a valid criticism for a massive platform that has an incredibly large range of topics that are being discussed. It isn’t just TikTok challenges, skits and dances, most of it is just people talking about their interests, ideas, and opinions. And the algorithm only brings you the sort of stuff you’re watching, commenting on and liking. If you’re only getting tiktoks of teen girls dancing then that’s a you problem, not tiktok.
Most tiktok users have literally never seen tiktoks of teens dancing on their FYP.
@@PennyPennyPennyPennyPenny I teach 8th grade, and TikTok has had a horrendous affect on young teenagers, especially young men. Nothing you say will change my mind about its insidious nature. I personally don't use it and never will.
Exploiting your child online for money and views is crazy.
Disgusting
It's disgusting. These children don't even have the ability to give consent to be filmed.
Right. A lot of moms say pedos save their videos so they stopped posting.
I agree. They’re monetizing their kids! I predict a lot up them won’t be happy about it when their older.
LOLOL!
esp. if you show them half-naked or something. that's not something for the entire world to see and last forever
I sure hope these mothers are putting aside a portion of their income for their kids. Child labor laws should cover social media.
You’ll never see a non conventionally attractive and poor mom rise to “fame,” though. 🙄
Those are the moms *I* want to see. Those that are busting their ass daily at work and at home, fighting depression, and trying to navigate the world while protecting and loving their kids just like me.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssss
I agree that many of them probably don’t have time
"Fighting depression and trying to navigate the world." First of all, most people are trying to "navigate the world." Secondly, don't assume someone is mentally healthy just because they're not saying otherwise.
Oh, and that sounds a lot like Hannah Williams. She has 3 children, works at Buzzfeed and has a long commute on top of making videos for that company that feel very momfluencer-esque.
those moms dont have the time or energy to put into being an influencer.
Children should not be on the internet....Period!
Preach. It's exploitative.
Personally, I feel like influencers are terrible people. Parents forcing kids to perform. Nothing natural about their homes or 'on screen's lives.
Child abuse!
A lot of "influencers" are not like that. In fact, some don't have children at all 😲
Knowing the difference between critism and out right hate are important. I don't think influencers understand that. Its okay to admit your wrong and make mistakes, own up to it.
if she doesn't like the criticism then she can always stop making content..
I only personally support and view influencers that keep their children out from in front of the camera. In my heartfelt opinion, it’s one thing to creatively express yourself and your interests, or share your skills and teach others…even share your homemaking and (carefully) display your personal design in it, but children should be left out of it until they are 18 and can legally choose to be in or out of being on display for billions of people around the globe. Especially with the predatory nature of many humans that could be a legitimate threat to their safety. I’m SEVERELY concerned for these children.
Some people may be able to handle things such as this better than me, but for me personally I had to stop watching some of the creators I followed prior to becoming a mother because the expectations they had created in my mind nearly drove me insane. I expected to lose weight more quickly postpartum, and these people made motherhood look easy. Saying things like “My baby is only four weeks old but she already sleeps all night..” I had zero experience with children and no friends who were mothers. All I knew was what the internet showed me. I thought I was doing everything wrong, but it was just reality!
Honestly, I couldn't tell most of those moms apart.
I wonder if they came off an assembly line.
using your kids as content is just wrong. they have no say in the matter. having millions of ppl watch your kids with some being obsessed, is scary. you must know they dont all have good intentions and whats on the internet is there forever.
Kids shouldn’t be used as props.
Crazy how they’re monetizing their kids!
I always thought Mormon women set the tone for Pinterest, which I've been calling the Pinterest effect when I see clones in aesthetics. I think this piece confirms it. Modern Farmhouse, thats them.
Mom-fluencer is a new term for me. I am not surprised at all that it was coined though. My wife loves watching TikTok and she definitely fits the stereotype.
Have you ever watched Smosh-Boxman2.0
Gross
Whatever you put out online, you have to expect it will be scrutinized. There's nothing you can do about it. So be very careful when putting your children and your family life, some of the most intimate parts of yourself out there online.
As the commentator said, young and blonde and sexy and hot and white girls. Young Mormon women are like that.
They don't seem to be poor, either. I guess all the Mormons are rich and live in Utah where the cost of living is low.
I agree with most of what you said but I live in Utah and the cost of living isn’t low. Believe me, I wish it was.
I do love a good sarcasm.
I live in California and have vacationed in Utah, yes the cost is absolutely low.
Taylor Frankie Paul was also recently arrested in Herriman Utah for Domestic violence. she was the aggressor and she injured her daughter in the process of attacking her boyfriend.
Utah Mom is a great parody of the mom influencers. Hilarious!
Stop using your children to make money. Kids of influencers need protection like child stars got from the Coogan Act.
Lmfao. Utah mom brought me here. 😂
When you want to open your life up to the public/world you have to acknowledge it comes with pros and con!whether its worth it,is up t o the individual.
the children are not given the choice!
@@joan-lisa-smith You're right!and i dont agree with people posting their children on any social media outlet
Wow I’m glad I never made a TikTok account, what a weird app.
Newage gossip and look at me nonsense
This gave me heavy 8 Passengers vibes
Just came here to say they are bad mothers exposing their children to the world without their consent
No need to be hostile towards women who enjoys this but I would choose a world without social media, RUclips only tho
We make covenants to have NO sexual relations outside of marriage.
It’s a serious sin. No man can serve two masters. Soft porn doesn’t belong in Heaven, soft swinging certainly doesn’t either.
If you’re ever being persuaded or convinced to dip your toe into something, just consider the consequences if you jump in. If that’s not okay, neither is dipping an inch.
-
This advice applies to more than members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ask if Jesus would do it. Ask if your language, behavior or media belongs in Heaven. If you’d like to BE in Heaven, you must strive to be purified and sanctified through Christ. No unclean thing can dwell in His presence.
-
A “little” sin doesn’t exist.
😂
She looks way different when she’s not on the filter
The advent of "social" media and its marriage with smartphones was the beginning of the end. We're never going back, unfortunately.
Oh my GOD! Literally! Let me stop watching this. Done half way.
I'm a mom who got sober when she went to jail and found out she was pregnant. I've thought about sharing my story but I always get shy lol
expoliting your own kids is a great way of making money.......making money and worshiping the money god is our life....love it.
so soft- swinging Mormonism, so creative.
Why is the lady so into them being white 🤣
When I have kids, I am not putting them on social media at all. I don't even want them using it to be honest. It just creates an entire culture of narcissism
All of this is disturbing and disgusting! They're behavior is trite and completely self-serving. 🤦🏼♀️
How this is not forbidden by law is beyond me. Kids are not protected here at all.
Mom influencers? Is that the same thing as bored housewives?
That is misogyny
@@Amanda-jd8xs You spelled 'reality' wrong.
I don't work because my husband makes a lot of money and I'm bored at home so I think I'll make some tiktok and youtube videos and become an influencer. Reality.
Not all mom influencers are housewives. For example, I consider Hannah Williams a kind of mom influencer because those are the videos she makes for Buzzfeed. Last I heard, she has an hour-long commute each way.
@@chobiden7770 you are a bigot. Unpaid work is still work. Creating for RUclips is work. If you do not like it, get off youtube and, go do whatever else feeds your self important attitude.
2:48 this sounds so conflated. But very typical & unsurprising. Mormon w, momfluencers and dont make up the majority of pupular momtok/momfluencers. Im not even convinced they're that mainstream.
I aay this becuase I've seen a few people claim they started momtok/mom fluencing...
Just wait until we see what the long-term effect of this family vlogging has on their kids!! This is a huge problem because people are using screenshots of these young kids,,for things they shouldn't! Remember, kids can't give informed consent to be on the internet and the worst part is, the internet is FOREVER! Look at the recent arrest of a couple women for severe child A!
Why is there a term for everything now? 🙄
I was quiet surprised to see Mormons behind this; it just doesn't seem very christian to me, very god like. The Mormon church I went to for a few years was very multi culture, maybe even more Samoan and Fijian families than white. America just does things differently I suppose.
Utah Mormons are incredibly white. 84% of all Mormons are white. The church doesn’t mind as long as they are not promoting sins (sex before marriage or LGBTQ rights) and paying their tithes. They make big money off rich influencers tithing.
I only watch one or two shoppers on you tube that’s it.
I've been biting my tongue and trying not be mean, but...seeing some of the misapprehensions here in the comments...
The women shown in these clips do not present as church-going Latter-Day Saint women. It's like showing someone in a football uniform and talking about their performance on the soccer field.
Trying to link these women to the advice of a Church leader like President Ballard (RIP, Brother) is a really disingenuous act on the part of a news outlet well-known for their opposition to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
They always say "white" like it's the worst thing.. speaking about anyone's race or something they can't change in negative connotation isn't right
I wondered why so many of them were Mormons.
That is such a good question
I'm pretty sure the group they were talking about are not church types.
We are all addicted to the privelege of the pretty
It's nauseating and too damn much. Nobody really cares about your kids first diaper, first steps-aside from friends and family. Lots of obviously staged content and they know it
Well…Mormon mom…does Lori Daybell ring a bell? No one is perfect and no mom is perfect, so if you see is only perfection, that’s the biggest red flag.
Influencers be gone!!!!
In the name of Jesus!
OH MA GAWD...LOOK AT ME!!
The Norman religion most of the things that has me worried is that they are starting blogs which is fine but in the same way not and for some reason the article turned into swinging :$
I would venture to say that all that have a plethora of kids and/or seek to cash in on their children are abusive creeps one way or the other.
It's amusing that these women are referred to as "blondes". 🤣
Personally, I despise those adults who use their kids (and I'm talking about ALL kids under the age of 18, in the USA specifically) to make content. Leave your kids out of your content. If they specifically ask to be in a video, fine, but make sure it's kid friendly and you aren't parading your kid around in costumes meant for adults (like those child pageant people).
Can we stop looking down on a women just because she cares about her appearance or because she's blonde like I'm not blonde but I wouldn't become less of a good mother if I decided to dye my hair blonde.
Right. I think that people are just jealous.
Snore.
Smokes 3 packs a day didnt know
get off sm, problems solved.
Good god,mormonism...still!!!don't even start with the excuses.
She’s not realistic
🥱🙄
I can't read. In the past people would travel and then write books. so someone like Earnest Hemingway would travel and where he was at he would make observation that he would use in his novels. the traveling and resultant work is slow. Or someone like escher traveled to spain and was inspired by muslim art to make the repeating animal patterns. Isaac albeniz did that and learned spanish guitar music and composed piano pieces from it. People are burning gas and just taking a photograph or something stupid. that's why anthony bourdain killed himself. because he saw what he was doing is crazy. he started doing overnight stuff. All of the cooking shows used to be kind of travel shows. but they would cook the meal and go through each part of the meal. details on each ingredient. detail the equipment for preparation of the food. detail the methods used to prepare the food.
Then you pretend to need faster cars and faster phones, and you don't because nobody cares what you're doing. I can't even read anymore. I didn't even write this because I can't read.
taylor frankie paul is not really mormon she clearly grew up mormon but it’s clear she doesn’t practice the religion anymore. she would have gotten excommunicated for cheating on her husband.
The Miranda-Chick is extra-cringe!
She has no job. Stay at home mom. Has nothing better else to do
Making videos requires time and talent. You may not like her job, but she has one. It is no less a job than playing sport.
@@Amanda-jd8xs this trend will end lol
@Amanda TALENT??? lmfao!! 🤣😅🤣. Believe me sweetie, she's not talented. Well, maybe as a swinger she has a little "talent "......🤣😅🤣😅
Nobody should be able to use their kids to make money
So they were swings who cares? They didn’t harm people or brand anyone. They didn’t do this to children. It’s not a huge deal at all!
Our society loves narcissists
Its so cringe
I have never heard of any of them 😂 get off social media. They are never happy people.
I love the Book Of Mormon and the beautiful people in this church. 💕
Racists......that's all they are.
diapers?
Gross. Joseph Smith was tricked by demons. A lot in common with Muhammed.
TikTok is cancer
The worst thing about these women is they do nothing but steal content ideas from Black women. Zero creatively but they get all the rewards.
I love mom influencers ❤ .
