One more thing that could help someone is that i am having a hard time uploading photos i have on an external ssd ( formatted as APFS ) on this NAS. The mac app is only allowing local files to be added to myphotos. ( not from a mounted drive, and not from a symlink ). I have around 150 Gb of photos on my SSD , and dont have so much space on my mac , so am basically stuck.

Yes, this file system is not supported, so you need to use a PC as a middle man for the transfers.

i have some question, Can i save 1 file to 2 place(beestation and external drive, i want to set external drive to raid 1。
For example, Cellphone’s photo through the beephoto app save to beestation, and use phone/laptop copy the file to external drive.

You can set up scheduled backup to an external drive. So your Beefiles will be also copied to a second storage space - your USB drive.

I would choose normal NAS. But If I was buying this NAS for my grandma then Beestation would be my choice.
