I think what happened with the overfiend is when they moved it out of diabolist tree and into the main destruction tree, they never changed how many chaos bolts it was supposed to fire. When it was in the diabolist tree it was spawned in when you cast cataclysm and if I remember right fired 4 chaos bolts before despawning.

Making wither "Acute" means that it makes the stacks tick down which do a mini implosion on the target until the stacks run out

I like that people call them "builds" like the middle tree isn't always filled. The talent trees are almost identical to Dragonflight and the middle super innovative theme defining where one is obviously better than the other, is just artifact talents that give you more of what you already have.
And yes, the fact that talents don't work with Shadowburn is not a bug, it will force you into a build :).

Don't worry about you not summoning the felhunter, it happens to us older warlocks from time to time. I heard there is a little blue pill that can help fix it 😏

Ele shaman was doing this until pre patch Shadowlands they took a prop out of the system and buffed damage, still was decent but not as good I don't see them leaving it in unfortunately
Immolate istant is HUGE, but guys... DECIMATION is incredible...
im looking for a video that tells us destruction warlocks i dunno if i should go mastery first then haste or? you never tell us and the internet says versatility so i have no idea and ur videos dont ever show your gear.

As fun as Diabolist seems, I feel like instant Immolates will be hard to top, especially against melee teams. Sure they can dispel it but its instant cast with no CD, healers already dispel our Immolates quite often if they know what they're doing so it's nothing new for us.
You're probably right man, especially for Arena play. But hey, hopefully the 2 specs are at least competitive and we get a smidgen of diversity going
@@Cobrak I'd love that. Honestly I think the hero talents are pretty fun looking overall but I'm mostly excited for the revamp of the destro tree. The talents feel a lot more meaningful now and you don't have to feel bad about taking the more fun ones.

They should just leave the CBs alone. I don't think warlock has ever been a favored class for an expansion. Maybe cata, but who the heck cares about cata? Its about time that changes. I fell for the bait and switch in the past so I will be waiting for the expected "Warlock nerfs in new superlit expansion" videos where locks go back to not being effective until they get end game gear while everyone else gets to mature early with their DPS.
This is so true. Every single expansion and update Warlocks get heavily nerfed and we absolutely suck until we finally get end-game gear and even then only 1 spec is viable
I mained destruction in bfa and got to 2400
@@gruuzol6280 In PvP you don't necessarily have a guild requirement to get high end equipment, you can just grind matches. If you find a capable team mate that speeds things along as well. All in all, PvP is about skill. Raid is about item level and impossible expectations from lower geared players in the same spot the geared group was in before they got gear. With Raid gear you don't even get a chance for heroics unless you have a guild run you through to get the gear required to attain the DPS to remain in the group. There is always that barrier near end game where you are required to outproduce the gear you are in just for a chance to get into a group to get the gear that will attain said production. Then the folks in mythical gear talk down to someone in blues just trying to get gear. I mean, what is that? If you are a certain gear level, no amount of button mashing, enchants, buffs or timing is going to get you the stats of the next gear level so you need to be carried by a guild that will accept 10th place DPS without booting you from group.
