18inches in 2023 has reached an acceptable balance of performance, weight and size for mobility making for a more flexible (switching between desks/rooms/buildings easier) and tidier desk experience. Eventually technology will allow for a true portable experience when we can do 4K 120Hz or 1080p 480Hz on battery that lasts all day.
That technology ALREADY exists. During turing we used to have 200w rtx 2080 super laptops that were basically as fast as the desktop 2080 super's. However they were in 4kg 17' laptops. Then lenovo put a 180w rtx 3080ti into a 2.6kg 16' laptop and that one can surely go upto a 200w GPU if it was given a 330w brick. So with the much better cooling we have now, its no stretch to assume we can put a 230w to 250w rtx 4090 desktop GPU into laptops and get 4k gaming. Pair it with a ryzen 9 7940HS and a 2k glossy IPS display with a large 99.9whr battery and you can surely get at least 7-8hr battery life, which might not be all day, but would be a heck of a lot better than half that.

Jerrod compared two different males / models so it’s not the best apples to apples comparison. Most thinner laptops like the zephyrus and razor will benefit from the increased efficiency of the 40xx chips. Allowing the same model to get higher wattage vs last year.
Ehhh, the 4070 doesn't compare to the 3080ti. I don't know why or how, but it does not. At 1080p, you're more cpu, than gpu, bound; and thus the 13th gen Intel chip in the 4070 model is what's bringing up the score when playing at 1080p since the 3080ti laptop very likely has a 12th gen chip with much less performance. When you're more gpu bound at 1440p, you can see how the 3080ti is simply better. It just is. Of course, if you play games that allow for frame gen, and those games aren't competitive shooters, then yes - the 4070 will likely yield a better experience overall. the differene will be much bigger at 4k or ultrawide 1440p, because of that 128bit bus, paired with only 8gb of vram. Its not a replacement for 3080ti, since that was aimed at 1440p and 4k gaming, and the 4070 cant perform correctly at 1440p, and even worse for 4k

Next laptop 20 inch
Watching this video in 0.25x speed (in order to catch the “subliminal” reference early on) makes me giggle. I’d apologize, but you basically asked me to so that I might catch the otherwise quick flash.
"Razer Blade" but made the laptop bigger and thicker. How this desktop replacement doesn't come with a numpad is mind boggling. Razer using the same keyboard across every sized laptop to save money but charge consumers an arm and a leg 😂 not to mention maxing out at 32gb ram AND with screen flickering issues for a $4000-6000 laptop.

3070 Ti rasterisation performance
The RTX "4070" is a joke, not even better than the last gen. NVIDIA is doing NVIDIA things again... The gap between RTX 4080/4090 and 4070/4060 is HUGE, wtf.

dear reviews for gods sake do a review of TRYING TO TRAVEL or at least putting it in backpacks and walking around w it.. Those of us on the fence about getting one and travelling with it arent getting any help w these reviews that leave this out.
I think it's pretty obvious you shouldn't be walking around with a 7lbs laptop that's 18inches.. This is not an everyday carry

Two kidney, good for you gamers, game on
Wait your lefty?
Yup!
It was MSI 😁
it has the same performance of rtx 3070 ti at much cheaper price
much cheaper? its more expensive
@@gersongaete1574 razer rtx 4070 laptop was 3k$
some other brand 2000+$
you can find cheaper ones with low quaility plastic at amazon for 1500$ low tdp too
@@nanezferrer3565 it costs $3200, while the blade 15 had a 3070ti and OLED screen for 3300. Now we get a worse screen, and a gpu that only performs better with DLSS3, and overall performs worse if you take into account 4k gaming, because of the much reduced bandwith.
No number keys
last years 3070 ti litteraly performs the same, skip this year
W8 TILL 5000 SERIES COME 4000 SERIES NVIDIA TEARS WILL FALL .
there is little to no difference between 4070 and 3070ti… i’m disappointed
