Happy "Almost" SWA! This test has been a long time in the works, probably about 4 years or so). Chris and I drove up to Rushville, IL this morning and met up with Cooper to film this 4/5 port Thunderbolt 1000T. It was an absolute treat! However, we had a little bit of confusion when Schuyler County first activated the system. This 1000T didn't go off with the Sentry 3V8-H and the other Thunderbolt 1000T. The ESDA Director for Rushville was there and set this one off for us in addition to the rest of the system. Enjoy some ambiance as well before this fires up. I'll include time slots below if you wish to skip the ambiance and get to the main event.
A little history on Rushville's Thunderbolts. Both units came from Peoria and were installed in 1996 here in Rushville. This one is 6M 4/5 while the other one is 5/6 and is reverse wired. Here's some information on the Thunderbolt.
Type: A1
Blower: 6M
Year Manufactured: 1956
Ports: 4/5
All I can say is WOW!!!!! What an incredible test! Shout out to Mr. Hardy (ESDA Director) for setting this off for us multiple times! He's a true G!!! Enjoy!!!

Beat me to it... awesome recording. Sounds great!
The loudest, most epic dial tone in the world!
You mean dual tone.
@@fs_sd-10 I was talking about it sounding like the dial tone on a phone. But yes, this is dual tone.
Great video man my town has a 4/5 ive done matinence on it its a beast
ANOTHER 4/5 6M!!!! my absolute favorite variant of the Thunderbolt.
This sounds amazing!!!!
Nice catch!
Seems to have a bad spot or 2 on the slip rings, which isn’t surprising given its age. Overall it sounds fantastic though!
It sounds sick
YEEESSSSS!!!
What an odd toneout sequence? Was this Thunderbolt not operated by the same agency or on the same frequency? Wonder why it went off so late.
Still trying to narrow that down. We were quite confused as to why it went off so late.
rushville twister whistle alarm!!!! #win
