Still waiting on my $550, Tony. No hurry though. Electricity went up by ~15% last year but now that you've got rid of the ETS it'll go down by 2% in 2020 so it's all good.
My guess is that you are from the USA and dislike Biden, so every political satire, you see Biden. This was about the assessment by media of Tony Abbott's first two months as Prime Minister, and the private boys' school ( called 'public' in the U.S.A,.) culture in Australian (and U.K) politics. John Clarke and Brian Dawe would have done a completely different, relevant satire about Biden, and Trump, etc. No one was safe! Biden is usually ridiculed for his age, and this is the opposite. This skit was featured at the end of an Australian government owned T.V. news program, for laughs at Australians. By the way, congratulations on the Biden administration's economic achievements to date! Finally, something is being done for U,S. citizens! I suspect Biden is mostly propped up by the strong team behind him.
@@daniellamcgee4251 //This skit was featured at the end of an Australian government owned T.V. news program, for laughs at Australians.// I know. But that's the amazing thing about it. It is hilarious, and relevant to our current situation. I also often see strong similarities with our political realities and the Yes, Minister, and Yes Prime Minister series.
This was an excellent character study, with cheekiness, as was John Clarke's unique skill, honed over a lifetime of observation, and conversation with as many people he could interact with as humanly possible. It didn't matter what side of politics, John Clarke had fun with whomever was in the news that week. Tony Abbott's performance of two months of being Prime Minister was obviously being assessed in the media, and compared with his pre-election promises. Much like being brought into the Principal's Office. I don't think it matters which political party you are coming from to see the private school boy's culture of politics. Unless you are so much a fan of Tony Abbott, or are from that culture yourself, that you can't see Abbot was one of the boys.
Rest in peace, a true genius
Wonder what Clarke would saying beyond the grave with recent local and global politics

Private school boy's culture is a common feature of English and Australian government.
