Hello Mr Z, your a senior advisor to president trump?
      Yes
Good. Well we were wondering if you'd share with us what Mr trump is made of.
Well that's a very complex question Brian.
Sure, so how about we talk about the neck upwards?
      From the neck upwards?
      Yes
      Well, skin I suppose.
So, there are rumors that his skin glows in the dark is that something you can confirm?
Certainly not true Brian. That's fake news.
      No chemicals involved then?
I can't confirm or deny chemical involvement at this time, but I can promise there is no Russian involvement.
      I see.
      How about his hair?
No Russians there Brian that's 100% all natural.
      Vegan?
Well no, but the horse was not pregnant and chose to donate. Pro life Brian.
Interesting. Before we wrap up, can you respond to this clip of world respected Professor of politics; Professor Oak:
"World opinion of the American system of government is at an all time low. [| pointing to a graph showing a near vertical drop in figures] "Americas credibility has fallen from the forefront of world leadership, many are calling it a 'broken system' which needs serious review"
*Cough* yes I'd like to respond Brian..... *Cough*... Erm well let me say that American is strong and continues to be so.
So your still are the forefront of world democracy?
Well in our case we may have fallen from the front. But that's not typical Brian. Not by any means.
And accusations of poor security during the election?
No Brian, it's important to understand that the electoral process has strict safety features.
      Such as?
Well, no Russians for a start.
And accusations that voter turnout doesn't matter to Mr trump as long as he wins?
Not true at all Brian. President tump has been instrumental in looking into a minimum age for voting.
      And that is?
      Well, 1 I suppose.
      And as for future elections?
What elections [distracted]. Just one moment Brian [seems to be talking quietly to someone in his ear] 'asking about future elections. I thought we'd agreed no more elections?.... Wasn't that the plan?... What should I say?.....] Fake news Brian, no need to worry about that.
Right. that's all we have time for. Thank you for your time.
      A pleasure Brian.
[Off camera] say, could you give me a lift home Brian?
      Don't you have a staff? A driver?
      I did
      What happened?
They aren't allowed this side of the wall....

My guess is that you are from the USA and dislike Biden, so every political satire, you see Biden. This was about the assessment by media of Tony Abbott's first two months as Prime Minister, and the private boys' school ( called 'public' in the U.S.A,.) culture in Australian (and U.K) politics. John Clarke and Brian Dawe would have done a completely different, relevant satire about Biden, and Trump, etc. No one was safe! Biden is usually ridiculed for his age, and this is the opposite. This skit was featured at the end of an Australian government owned T.V. news program, for laughs at Australians.
By the way, congratulations on the Biden administration's economic achievements to date! Finally, something is being done for U,S. citizens! I suspect Biden is mostly propped up by the strong team behind him.

@@daniellamcgee4251 //This skit was featured at the end of an Australian government owned T.V. news program, for laughs at Australians.// I know. But that's the amazing thing about it. It is hilarious, and relevant to our current situation. I also often see strong similarities with our political realities and the Yes, Minister, and Yes Prime Minister series.

    • @daniellamcgee4251
      @daniellamcgee4251 Год назад +4

This was an excellent character study, with cheekiness, as was John Clarke's unique skill, honed over a lifetime of observation, and conversation with as many people he could interact with as humanly possible. It didn't matter what side of politics, John Clarke had fun with whomever was in the news that week. Tony Abbott's performance of two months of being Prime Minister was obviously being assessed in the media, and compared with his pre-election promises. Much like being brought into the Principal's Office. I don't think it matters which political party you are coming from to see the private school boy's culture of politics. Unless you are so much a fan of Tony Abbott, or are from that culture yourself, that you can't see Abbot was one of the boys.
