Land Rover Defender, full interior re-trim, part 2 the headliner

I was really hoping you’d show the back half of the headlining as I’m about to attempt my double cab Defender. Any tips for doing the back corners so to get the material nice and smooth and not rippled/bunched up? I think that area could be a problem. Cheers and thanks for the videos, they have been most interesting and helpful, particularly the Defender ones

Great job, looks a world of difference. What width of fabric is needed for this? Most rolls are 1.5m wide but looking at dimensions of the headlining that might be a bit tight?

A lot of headlining fabric is wider that 1.5m

The base of mine was damaged with bits just hanging on around the edges. What can you use to build up missing areas and strengthen what's left.

The fabric use for the headlining in this video was Foam backed nylon headlining fabric, I would not use vinyl, Watch this video it will explain why.
