I saw her another time in a parking lot of a gay bar (then Heaven ) ..she still rocked it. She IS on ANOTHER level.... " feeling like a woman looking like a man...." that sums it ALL up...

Her whole lifes work is timeless, the music, her image, attitude. I was a child and seeing her being interviewed and herself, rejecting the polite obedient , predictable woman guest role, on TV. People thought she was shocking! It was cool for men to be anarchic or rocknroll, but if a woman did it, Wow!! people shat themselves! I recognised that it was pure fear, in their reaction to Grace. And I fell in love with her for being so purely herself and unafraid.
i was a Supervisor at a taxi company .... Grace talked to me about a cab that had been covered in lipstick, I wasn't there but the driver was very annoyed. Grace was very charming
