@angeronalove5799, *Well said*, and I'm so sorry to hear you, too, have had hair challenges. I feel very confident that we can all get through this challenge together! 🙂 You know, this experience has changed the way I view my lab results. I used to just be content with being within *the normal range* and not really paying attention to where within *the normal range* I was at. This is why I'm encouraging everyone to take control of YOUR health and don't let your doctors tell you, "There's nothing wrong; everything *' is normal'"*! Thank you for your support and sharing that you, too, have had hair challenges. ❤️
I’m experiencing the same!!! I tried the Finastride by mouth AND IT WAS THE WORST EVER!! It did help my hair a little but it caused me to feel if I was dropped off in a deep dark hole! The affects on my libido were destroying. It has been 2+ years and doing a little better regarding that issue. Sorry if tmi!! I just wouldn’t want any other human being to go through what I have gone through! I think my front hair thinning & shedding is not just testosterone but my thyroid!!! I believe when we become estrogen dominant it can cause hypothyroidism. Maybe something to consider.
@reginagriffiths9571, I know Finasteride, not only made it difficult for me to swallow and breathe but it also made me gain weight very quickly and I became very depressed. I'm still dealing with the depression but I feel confident that it too shall pass. I too had libido issue. It's really sad that if we want to regain our hair which is one thing, we inherit more side effects that Finasteride, consider rare side effects. 😫 I'm so sorry that your front hair line is thinning due to thyroid 😢. I'm have you tried a compound hair topical and Saw Palmtto. Has your doctor checked your Finasteride levels? My recent research states we women should strive to increase our levels to 70 -110 and consume enough protein daily. I've read that most sites recommend 46-56 grams although, I stive to consume 90 - 110 grams daily. But I'm not sure protein and hypothyroidism work.
@reginagriffiths9571, I've never hear of this book. I'm a research nerd and love reading books. I will have to put Dr. Garry Donovitz's book on my must read book! Its sounds like a great resource. Thanks for your recommendation. We women need to pool together to share everything we learn in this journey. I really appreciate you sharing. Has this book helped you and if so, please share how this book had made a difference?
@Di-hz2dz, I agree wig's are a great option. Although I really want to fight to regain my hair growth and it it does not work, I will consider a wig. Thanks for the friendly reminder. Have you ever tried a wig and if so, do you mind sharing your experience? Thank for the GREAT suggestion. ❤️
@annemariesmith5459, thanks for sharing that tip. I've never heard of MSM for hair growth but I did notice that it's used as an anti-inflammatory for joint pain. How long did it take you to start seeing results from taking MSM if you are taking it?

I think it's important to remember that "normal" is not the same as "optimal." I appreciated your video. I've had challenges with my hair too.
