Love Unlimited, Barry White and The Love Unlimited Orchestra came to me in that order back in 1972-1973. When I heard those voices, those orchestrations, those fabulous melodies I knew that this white woman from Westchester had finally found her music! I had always sought out R&B as a teen but this went beyond anything I had heard and felt. It was THE new way to experience love through music. Glodean, Linda and Diane along with Barry and his orchestra were about to usher in an era in music not heard since the big band era. This was Big Band on Steroids and a Love Rush! I adored them all...every song...every note. It's sooooo good to see Glodean and Linda again. Of course, to say we miss Barry would be an understatement of epic proportions! His huge heart and huge sound would go down as the best of the best and the cornerstone of that era! I miss the beautiful voice and harmonies of Diane Taylor as well, their cousin and integral part of Love Unlimited who left us too, too soon. I wish she could have seen this. You're so right Glodean...Barry is gonna getcha for that one! LOL...God Bless. ...and you still have those trademark nails.....LOL!
