How do you make that work? When I rearrange widgets in portrait mode, they get messed up in landscape mode. I’m using the latest version of iOS 15 on an 11” 2020 iPad Pro.

Yes there is a way that you can have different wallpapers for each Focus mode. I have done it by getting the change of focus to run a shortcut to change the wall paper. The only drawback I fund was you have to put the image you are using into its own album. Apart from that it works fine. I also have the focus made change my watch face as well.

Great video! You can change the wallpaper of your Home Screen within each focus mode by including the “set wallpaper” automation within each shortcut. Hope that helps!
you can set the shortcut to change the wallpaper go to the shortcut you want to customize search for find photos filter the photo you want limit it by 1 photo and then search for set wallpaper then click on that little right arrow in circle next to photos deselect show preview and select or deselect perspective zoom as you like it
You can set focus to a specific device and prevent it from 'sharing' focus on other devices as well! I really like the shorcut idea, definitely going to give it a try!

This video has been so helpful! Just got my m1 iPad Pro today and am setting it up and this has helped loads! If you want to have a focus mode on on one device but not all if you go to focus in settings there should be an option to “share across devices” and when you turn it off you can have your iPad in whichever focus mode and your phone/Mac in another! Once again great video and I hope what I’ve said helps someone that didn’t know!!! :)

I have adapted your setup further for my own workflow… On the home/startpage I actually don’t need the home shortcut and added another one for a further custom focus homepage (‘news’ in my case). Each focus homepage has only a single shortcut, which stops my focus mode and takes me back to the startpage, rather than four shortcut in the widget. It gives me a bit more real estate on each homescreen and I rarely need to navigate between the individual focus modes. But that’s just me…

The only focus mode I've been making use of is the Fitness one that starts up when I open an app that I use. And in this usage, having all my devices go into this mode has been fantastic. Hey. I think you could create an automation with a trigger of when a particular focus is turned on. But first create shortcuts to set your wallpaper to a certain image. In your automation, choose the run shortcut action to run the desired one. Turn off ask to run and you're good! You've got great content on your channel. Well done!
How are you able to jump back to the main screen when you click the "Home" widget? I like that Home is not a focus mode but any time I am in a different focus mode and click "Home", it just changes to the Home wallpaper but still stays on that same page. Thanks!

Is there anyway to sync which calendars will show depending on which focus mode you’re in? For example your casual mode will show your personal calendar on the calendar widget and your productivity mode will show your school/work calendar
I think it's possible to create Shortcuts automations which change your wallpaper when certain focus mode gets turned on or off! Tried it a couple of times and it works decently (although sometimes it's not "instant") :D Loved the video!
Cool video! I have a system for combatting distractions further however which makes use of configuration profiles. You’re device needs to be supervised using a Mac, but then you can run shortcuts that install profiles which disable certain apps for a certain period of time. It works better than Screen Time because ST can be easily bypassed. With profiles I find that I can just install them quickly and know that distracting apps cannot be accessed until the profile expires and deletes itself in the evening. A more nuclear option, but one that seriously has boosted my focus in recent months

When you create shortcuts to a specific home screen that you create and hide all other apps, do the hidden apps still slow down your iPad? You can change focus modes to not turn on on all devices and only the device that it’s turned on on.

The focus modes syncs by default, but now you can turn the syncing off in settings.
