Lovely video , OMG the gorgeous gifted sweater, an amazing lady to give it to you. In vintage sweaters I find the yarn can dry out from time and use so when I wash them I add some hair conditioner or fabric softener just to restore the softness to the wool. Your projects are so pretty and you’re making good progress👍🏼🙋🏼♀️🥰

Sweetgrass is a type of bulrush that grows in the marshes around Charleston County. How proud you must be as the new owner of the amazing fox sweater, a true work of art.

I too, enjoy having a beautiful hand woven basket. The basket I use occasionally for a hand bag has a fabric liner with a draw string top/opening to keep my wallet, keys and phone from falling out should my basket tip over. The liner was not hard to sew together and is a lovely internal liner fir the basket. Enjoy your new hand bag/basket.

I am working diligently on a blanket in garter stitch throughout the blanket in stripes with Rios yarn (my favorite) in the colors of Lavanda and white for my granddaughter to take with her to the University which she is going to in about three weeks in August. The texture of it is beautiful, and I am more than half done wit it; Take Care. 😊and I think I will finish it in time. I am enjoying knitting it with that great yarn.
If the blanket is bulky or too hot you can put it in a salad bowl to keep it off your lap and helps with turning. I also like to fold accordion style and then fold the ends in to keep the fabric contained. You can also use knitting holding pins to pin it together so it stays in place.

I made earring holders once. I used a picture fram. I painted and or decorated it. I replaced the glass with screen wire . You could hang with a jute string or buy a wooden stand for the frame.

How is your garden doing ? I live in a second floor apartment with a deck on the back. I have potted flowers and 2 tomatoe plants and one green pepper plant doing very well. They loved the nice drink of a rain shower the other day. It gave them a boost .
Unfortunately the garden is not doing well this year. First it was too cold, then too hot and dry and then we got lots of rain. Nothing is really growing. Except my husband's potatoes. 😄

I like to use moisturizing coconut milk hair conditioner to soften my wool. I use it in my own curly hair, lol, so I knew it would work wonderfully. 😂
I use Eucalan wool wash. It has lanolin in it, which takes great care of my wool. 😊

How is your garden doing ?
I live in a second floor apartment with a deck on the back. I have potted flowers and 2 tomatoe plants and one green pepper plant doing very well. They loved the nice drink of a rain shower the other day. It gave them a boost .
Unfortunately the garden is not doing well this year. First it was too cold, then too hot and dry and then we got lots of rain. Nothing is really growing. Except my husband's potatoes. 😄

How do you get your frogs feet into the Barbie shoes??? My frogs toes will get smashed if I shove them into the shoes. Is that what you do??? Just wondering. Btw I LOVE LOVE your sweater you finished. The fox sweater is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Where it as soon as it’s cool enough and enjoy it!!!
