Women who lose their hair are almost expected to buy a hair replacement system, and people are supportive of it. They would tell her that her new hair makes her look beautiful. It's not usually socially acceptable for men to wear hair replacement systems. It's seen as a joke. Men are ridiculed for being bald or for wearing a hairpiece. It's a lose-lose situation. This video is progressive in a good way. This should be seen as a socially acceptable option for men with hair loss.
When women can enhance their body parts to look good why not men. In this day and age why should any human have to live with any physical discomfort. This sweet person deserves all the happiness in the world including a head full of hair if that's what makes him happy. And this isn't even a typical toupee tbh. This is pretty simple and a great way to wear one.
I like this guy, so introspective. And really good at processing his feelings and thoughts. I need to practice that more. And he’s honest, with confidence he could level up
i am a young bald man, we all experience the same feelings no matter where we are and what culture we are from. i feel so happy for the guy, just want to give him a hug
It’s not a weave. It’s not a wig. It’s a hair piece. A hair piece is a unit meant to cover a specific area of the head, not the whole head. A hair weave is woven/sewn in. A wig is a removable cap that covers the whole head.
BijinXOXO I didn’t say it WAS a wig.. I just said it was more like a wig instead of a weave since there’s nothing to weave into, other than his skin 😂🤷🏽♀️ but u right
This is a powerful video. As a man in his 30s losing his hair, I would do this in an absolute heartbeat. I dread the cost of this though. One thing that kinda tugged at my heart was when he said he was afraid that people would prefer it and he would feel obligated to keep it. That hit close to home, and I know the feeling.
@@lincabe321 the upkeep would be annoying on a wig. In the grand scheme of things ... 10,000 isn't a lot of money to a working man. To many of us, that is an hour or two of overtime a day. The hard part about it is coming to terms with it, and wrestling with it mentally. I've contemplated getting a transplant but it's a huge commitment to time just as much as money.
Title: bald man gets hair for the first time My dyslexic ass: bald man gets haircut for the first time (Updateee they changed the title so this probably makes no sense to anyone LMAOOO)
My husband was bald like this guy. He passed in 2002, and although he put on a good "front" that it didn't matter....it did matter. I wish he could have had something like this.
How does the scalp breathe? How does the piece handle the undergrowth? Did it last 4 months? What did it cost? Can we get an update after the first one's due for removal/replacement/touching up?
I have hair, just a bad hairline. I shaved my head to try on one of these systems, it cost £500. I took it off after the first month, it damaged the hair follicles I already had under my head. The hair, on the top of my head, is much thinner now. Maybe this is good for those who are already bald, just note that most systems have horrible hairlines and you'll always have a color mismatch.
Miss B. My dude, you are aware of the fact that our scalp is skin - and skin needs oxygen! Your skin breathes, the term is not exclusive to having lungs.. wow
@@Tata-iu3fy Hair follicles actually take in oxygen. Almost every hair system company says that their hair systems are breathable but that's simply not true. The glue (or tape) creates an entire wall between the follicles. It's not healthy. Honestly, I regret getting this done. It has damaged the hair I already have. The maintenance is also a nightmare. You have to take it off every 2 weeks to deep clean it and reapply glue/tape. These companies are taking advantage of men's insecurities.
I was wearing a hair piece last year. It looks great but its honestly really annoying because it has to be taped/glued. Now im just wearing a wig & its way more breathable. Hair pieces last around 5-6 months depends on how you care for it really. Ive had the wig 6-8 months at the minute and its still perfect.
His wife likes his bald head because now she has to worry about ladies giving him extra attention/ looks. Dude is hot! Looking good with his new hair piece 💕👏
He is spot-on, people do treat you much differently. You can’t understand until you go through and once you have to deal with that on a daily basis it makes a big impact. Even something as simple as smiling at someone, even just to be friendly, and the reaction you get back, it’s drastically different. It’s sad but people treat you way different
I wish more men would treat hair like women do. Bright green wig one day or natural hair the next. Not so serious and more of a fashion decision week by week. That would be awesome!
ella soy big surprise, a woman doesn’t like it when her man tries to better himself physically, and the kicker is her response was not even appropriate enough to show her on screen. She was probably rude about it.
Or...she was showing him she loves the natural him and didnt want to make him feel pressured to keep this up knowing how he felt going into it. He even said he was iffy about it and was kinda worried people would love it and that he would feel pressured to keep it up. But of course let's bring the negative assumption to their relationship we know nothing about.
Ddrsdd D I guess the stigma that these types of things are “usually left to women” and that men should just go bald gracefully. But honestly if it’s going to boost their confidence they should go for it!
Michelle Ruiz it’s more like most men don’t know this is a thing. Usually hairpieces are put on top of hair not scalp and most places probably don’t have such short hairpieces ready to go
The way his expresión changed once the hair piece was on it's amazing! He instantly carries himself more confidently. And he looks so much younger. I'm very happy for him.
He got really deep with this experience, you could tell it meant a lot to him, and it was something he’s struggled with. He was very personable, we all could relate in one way or another about self confidence. This was great!
He looks great! This makes me appreciate my full head of natural hair... I've never thought about what psychological setbacks premature balding men go through... :-(
Premature hair loss is devastating. I've tried almost every mental health option that's available. The thing that helps most is treating my hair loss with drugs. My dermatologist has done more to help my mental health than any of my psychologists or psychiatrists.

Nat Alie they changed the title of the video
I have to be honest... he looks really good with the new hair. 10 years younger.
true
Women who lose their hair are almost expected to buy a hair replacement system, and people are supportive of it. They would tell her that her new hair makes her look beautiful. It's not usually socially acceptable for men to wear hair replacement systems. It's seen as a joke. Men are ridiculed for being bald or for wearing a hairpiece. It's a lose-lose situation. This video is progressive in a good way. This should be seen as a socially acceptable option for men with hair loss.
It seems like being a man is a sin in this cruel world!
Literally every resource we have should be spent trying to eliminate male pattern balding. No foreign aid. No pre-K programs. Just hair loss research.
Hard agree.
It's sad that he has low confidence he is attractive either way
Stfu
No he’s not.
123 he’s fking hot stfu
Leo lol
He's way hotter with the hair. Without the hair he's invisible to women.
He seems to be holding himself more confidently with the wig vs without
I like this guy, so introspective. And really good at processing his feelings and thoughts. I need to practice that more. And he’s honest, with confidence he could level up
i am a young bald man, we all experience the same feelings no matter where we are and what culture we are from. i feel so happy for the guy, just want to give him a hug
dMAXDAZ me too. Genuinely felt happy for him
What a great gesture
He says like a lot. Like. A lot. 😂
Aysek67 came here to say this.
I swear! He needs to work on it 😂
To be fair, he is normally not on camera, so he is probably a bit nervous especially what the content is about haha
Aysek67 omg I didn’t realize until you said it XD
I didn't notice...
“bald man gets haircut for the first time”
wait-
That's illegal...
But its an honest work
“Semi permanent hair piece”
Weave. He got a weave
Daisy Cloud
More like a wig
Daisy Cloud It’s a good description for those of us who don’t know what weave is.
It’s not a weave. It’s not a wig. It’s a hair piece. A hair piece is a unit meant to cover a specific area of the head, not the whole head. A hair weave is woven/sewn in. A wig is a removable cap that covers the whole head.
BijinXOXO
I didn’t say it WAS a wig.. I just said it was more like a wig instead of a weave since there’s nothing to weave into, other than his skin 😂🤷🏽♀️ but u right
Ddrsdd D Google it
This is a powerful video. As a man in his 30s losing his hair, I would do this in an absolute heartbeat. I dread the cost of this though.
One thing that kinda tugged at my heart was when he said he was afraid that people would prefer it and he would feel obligated to keep it. That hit close to home, and I know the feeling.
Isn't very expensive and even if it is there are convincing wigs are there
@@lincabe321 the upkeep would be annoying on a wig. In the grand scheme of things ... 10,000 isn't a lot of money to a working man. To many of us, that is an hour or two of overtime a day. The hard part about it is coming to terms with it, and wrestling with it mentally.
I've contemplated getting a transplant but it's a huge commitment to time just as much as money.
bald guys make other guys look good.
He looks great either way. I've been wearing a hair system for a few years and it's been amazing.
Existing hair damage by it?l and what is the hold time of glue?
Title: bald man gets hair for the first time
My dyslexic ass: bald man gets haircut for the first time
(Updateee they changed the title so this probably makes no sense to anyone LMAOOO)
Char that’s what I thought it said 😂😂
I thought the same exact thing and I don’t even have dyslexia
Wow I’m dyslexic
Lmao they changed the title to ‘again’ 😂😂😂
Most likely from Cali. Everyone who lives like within 15 miles of a beach like in Cali speaks like this. Can verify
Dang he got hot.
He did!!
He looks better bald
His face looks exactly the same.
Im telling your boyfriend
@@Steve_305 lmfao my what?! 😅😂😂😂
Honestly everything this guy said was really thoughtful and authentic and I appreciate that a lot!
My husband was bald like this guy. He passed in 2002, and although he put on a good "front" that it didn't matter....it did matter. I wish he could have had something like this.
I am really sorry for your loss. I hope he is in a better place.
Damn so you admit women actually like hair. Thank you for the truth
@@pratik5065Learn to read. She clearly meant that it mattered to her husband, not to her.
5:42 forget the hair: get contacts. Looks MUCH better without the glasses 👓.
No he doesn't lol
He has a good face , neither he wears glasses or not he's fine
How does the scalp breathe?
How does the piece handle the undergrowth?
Did it last 4 months?
What did it cost?
Can we get an update after the first one's due for removal/replacement/touching up?
I have hair, just a bad hairline.
I shaved my head to try on one of these systems, it cost £500.
I took it off after the first month, it damaged the hair follicles I already had under my head.
The hair, on the top of my head, is much thinner now.
Maybe this is good for those who are already bald, just note that most systems have horrible hairlines and you'll always have a color mismatch.
How does your scalp breathe? Our scalp does not breathe. It doesn't have lungs.
Looking good with his new hair piece 💕👏
true..
Vivian Uriarte or maybe she just genuinely likes the way he looks without the hair piece.. not everyone has the same beauty standards as you.
I think this is true.
@@lizabethmichelle Perhaps this is true, but when you are bald or heavily balding as a man, it's difficult to feel attractive.
His smile is sexy enough to make up for his insecurities
Nikki Reign no it’s not.
@@checkenginelight1950 you're hideous stfu
No it's actually make him look worst
I agree. Something about the voice, his smile, the beard. Just seems like a normal, handsome guy that lost his hair.
no, its not
He is spot-on, people do treat you much differently. You can’t understand until you go through and once you have to deal with that on a daily basis it makes a big impact.
Even something as simple as smiling at someone, even just to be friendly, and the reaction you get back, it’s drastically different. It’s sad but people treat you way different
Hair and glasses are the two things that really change a person's look
I wish more men would treat hair like women do. Bright green wig one day or natural hair the next. Not so serious and more of a fashion decision week by week. That would be awesome!
So he looks more attractive now and his wife didn't dig that.
Because he was getting too much attention from other women
Wait, didn't she say she liked the hairpiece. I might have to rewatch.
ella soy big surprise, a woman doesn’t like it when her man tries to better himself physically, and the kicker is her response was not even appropriate enough to show her on screen.
Blue Collar Boys as if men aren’t the same
All I could hear is him say the word “like” every couple of words
I didn't notice until I read this comment and now I can't stop hearing it
Ruined the rest of the video for me tf
I mean he lives in Cali 😂
Rude of you to mention it.
The said, “for the first time..” as if he was born with this receding hairline 😩
lmao i was thinking the same thing
This genuinely makes me happy for him. You can see it from the way he talks, he radiates so much energy and confidence.
This is great! if women can do it to boost their confidence men should be able to as well.
Michelle Ruiz What stops them then?
Ddrsdd D I guess the stigma that these types of things are “usually left to women” and that men should just go bald gracefully. But honestly if it’s going to boost their confidence they should go for it!
periodt
Doesn't work the same way.
By the end of this video I honestly forgot what he looked like at the beginning......
He got really deep with this experience, you could tell it meant a lot to him, and it was something he’s struggled with. He was very personable, we all could relate in one way or another about self confidence. This was great!
I've been wearing a hair piece for four months now, best decision I ever made
@T-Morals Me too man, I'm 30 and my hair is getting thin and is falling out a little, I'm just glad I had hair during my 20's.
Hi there~
@@orlandonevarez5590 I'm 15 and losing my hair :(
@@nicktimestwo go for a system, don't waste your youth.
Yeah right!!
He is such a sweetheart!!! Looks absolutely perfect either way!!! So happy you're doing what makes you happy and glowing!! ✨
is it just me or does his son looks like trisha paytas
Omg stop 😂😂😂😂
this comment is cursed
Lmfao YOU RIGHT
Omg 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
It looks good but I would have preferred a different hair cut on him
@Statikal Exactly, the cut is bad and makes the hairpiece very obvious.
I’m 19 years old and started losing my hair at the age of 14… got a hair system put on this year and for the first time in 5 years did I actually feel my age which I never thought I would ever feel in my life since the age of 14… it can be a hassle to manage but I’d take it any day over the “harmless jokes” people would make about my hair which would ruin my self confidence and I totally get why anyone would want to do this and I really think it’s a great idea for someone who’s dealing with issues of hair loss
Even the way he talks afterwards is so much more confident.
there's no shame in it. him with hair is 'reality' to people he has never met before.
The hair looks sooo good, and I’m glad he looks and feels more confident afterwards!
At least he found his wife that loves him no matter what. She’s a Keeper.
Yeah, they’re married.
@@Liusila We all know that. The OP even said "wife" in his message.

He went from “I play the Ukelele” to “Lemme strum you baby”
It actually made his face look a lot slimmer
I thought the hairdresser is wearing one too, it's just too good in a good way lol
He seems like such a sweet and intelligent guy! His wife prefers him bald though? Hmm. I think she may have realised a lot of people are gona be hitting on her husband now 🙈
yeah bald him and him with hair to her are different people, give it a few days and she'll prefer him with hair
yea, his husband available on market again
I don't understand these comments. That's literally her husband. She loves him the way he is and it can be jarring to see him change in any way. People are so creepy with the cheating comments.
Your hair looks good I wish these products were available in the 80s when my hair fell out as a teenager . I wear false teeth and glasses now so and I am considering a wig
Looks 30-years younger!!😊😀
30 years younger? Haha lol
My husband is not bald at all, but his hair is thinning and I could not care less, but I think he stresses about it. So I think this could be something for him if he wanted to. The way it makes the one wearing it is everything!
Seen the title and was like damn. First time, soooooo he never had hair as a baby either. Rough life
🤣🤣🤣
Same
Looks like they changed it. Lol
tbh he’d look good fully bald (minus the side hair)
And here I am complaining how thick my hair is🤦♂️ I’m 24 and my hair just grows so fast. This made me learn how to be grateful of what you have.
I used to say the same thing. Barbers even told me my hair grew like weeds. Then at 33 I got a little surprise and my hair started falling out.
Man I’m 25 and went fully bald at age 23 trust me I would trade positions in a heartbeat
Torryx I have a full head off hair but I’m short 😐 I guess we all have our problems 🤷♂️

Whatever makes him feel comfortable and makes him happy. We can put our wigs together boo!!
Female: he should just go completely bald.
Also female: i dont like bald guys
Some women do some don’t.
Some people like to eat poo too. For real.
he should do whatever makes him feel better about himself
It's all a matter of confidence. You like bald, you go bald and own it. You like hair? Then get hair and own it. Just make a decision.
@MsSunhappy yea a lot of females will like anything no matter how old or messed if you rich and famous
My boyfriend has a bald patch and it's one of the many things I love about him. It's part of what makes him him, and I wouldn't want him any other way.
well you sound like a great catch then! that acceptance is what i'm looking for in a woman, that being said if I can't accept my own hair thinning why the hell would any potential partner either, kinda hypocritcal in a backwards way..hmm i'm going to get a hair transplant.
Looks awesome, really happy for him. He looks 10 years younger...
This looks amazing I LOVE this and anyone feeling insecure about hair loss should 100% do this if they want to!!
He should just go completely go bald, he’d look so cute
He should try that next
MoMelanin i agree. Reason he looks older is cus he keeps the sides. That adds years. Now fully bald looks way better.
Love the little bit at the end where he talks about identity and not being stuck in that box! Awesome stuff.
He looks fresh and handsome with his new look.
I think my dad needs to be on this 😂

Did I read the title correctly or am I just high😭😭😭🔥
I mean he did have hair at the beginning
Damm he looks HOT with the hair, I mean he still looks good without it. But the hair instantley makes him like one of those instagram dads.
If you're bald, you doesn't need to cut everything, just fade the sides. Depending of how much do you have on top, leave it short or cut everything.
He’s a total hunk just the way he is. Lucky wife and child 💋
