I would love if there were an option for choosing weather for special occasions... like snow in all bioms during christmas... or cherryblossoms blowing around in spring... or cloudy/storm for halloween... or other stuff... like just for the look? and snow piles please!

@@shavarinaicker6651 Yes^^ Where I grew up there was a place with a giant cherry-tree and every spring It had pink-white petals and tons of them, and they would blow about on the wind... I'm not from japan, but that memory is spring to me^^ that and snowdrop season^^ but I doubt they would put those in the game-.-'

Personally I take my time doing quests and leveling up the characters. In between doing all that, I set goals like getting 10 million coins, or completing 20 dream duties, decorating and rearranging, etc. Ultimately, just take your time and enjoy the game. April is around the corner so a new update will come.
I learn from past updates to slow down with new character stories. With Mirabel, I only do one level a day or stretch it out to two, I am still at level 7, that way I can always do something new and not rush it to finish the storyline and I am also focusing in crafting each item that I haven't done so even if I don't need it.
I have room for so many houses. I need more houses. 💜💜💜 Also, I definitely get the vibe thing. Sometimes I’m feeling like decorating, sometimes gardening, and some days I only check Scrooge and my chests. There’s no right or wrong way.
I personally feel like most of the Biomes can support about 4 houses, anything above that and it feels a bit crowded to me. They will definitely need to add more biomes soon. I'd love to have an underwater biome and place both Ariel's and Ursula's houses there - under water - where they truely belong. Then they could introduce a whole new series of characters, like Ariel's little buddies, King Triton, Nemo, Dory, etc.
Ariel belongs on land tho :( other than that I agree with you, for sure need an underwater one for her friends/family and the Finding Nemo characters
The Goofy Movie is one of my top favourite Disney movies, so I would adore if Max came to the game!

I have 6 in plaze, 4 in meadow, 3 on beach, 1 in marshland, me & 1 other in forest, 1 up in frosted heights, 2 in sunlight plateau & none in the forgotten lands & I still have TONS of room so idk how ppl think it so crowded? I could easily fit least 2 more in meadow, now the plaza probably not cuz my orchard is there also.

I have an issue with the star path, BECAUSE of the item limit. I dont understand why they would give us Scrooge's store, the Moonstone store AND the Star Path when we have such a limited amount to work with in the valley. It just doesn't make sense to me. I feel bamboozled at this point lol
So far the moonstone store has been inside items that don't have a limit or houseskins that just replace your house or clothing. But totally agree with the starpath and the whole item limit thing. It's so disheartening to finish decorating a biome and use up two thirds of the limit. Also disheartening is how many items like wood drops and flowers etc count towards that limit.
@@tracilane5671 yes!! I didnt notice that regular items like flowers, mushrooms, wood, etc also count towards the limit. I started to decorate my valley but after having only two parts decorated (and not with a lot of items) am almost close to the limit. Its taken the joy out of decorating. Ive given up on that at this point and have just been logging in for Scrooge shop. I started replaying Kingdom Hearts to have that Disney gaming joy back lol
During the off season I just do daily chores: Scrooge’s, Kristoffs, and chests. Maybe Moana and WALL·E s farm if I feel like running around a bit more. I think it’s great to have this time to play other games. It will make the updates that much more exciting 🎉

Totally agree I have at least four biomes worth of space. Can’t wait to see the diversity of all the houses to come

I make certain that I have at all times the Max amount of each item in my chests. That way, I have a goal to reach when there are no quests in between updates. I don't log in everyday but I try to because I want the blue chests so that when the next update & star path gets here I have more than enough milestones to purchase premium
I usually just log on to check the shop and get the blue chest, then I do other stuff when it strikes my fancy. I still actually have some friendship quests left, because I don't try to speed rush them either.
My thing with the houses. Mickey and Minnie aren’t married so they live in separate houses. Ursula is in the valley and Ursula is dead by the time Ariel 🧜🏻♀️ and Eric get married so they can’t be married or live in the same place yet. The Elsa that we have is from frozen 2. Kristof and Anna are already married by the second movie.

I honestly hate Ariels house, it's an eye=sore imo, she should be living in Eric's castle, THEY"RE MARRIED! Mickey and Minnie are just dating, and they do live in seperate homes in their own universe. It would be great to be able to assign villagers to houses or remove the ones we don't want to have in they valley, and the character can just wander around 24hrs a day. Their "schedules" seem asinine and pointless anyways

I've mostly been visiting Scrooges store, Kristoffs Stall, and farming pumpkins.....I play atleast a half hour a day! It's still fun! 😊
i know why the developers dont want to give guys pants or shorts to design but it would be nice, i feel like it stops the creativity since you can only do the torso and not the full ensamble
I've never bought a premium star path because none of the exclusive items interest me. The occasional item I wanted was always available in the free version of the star path. I started the game with 8000 moonstones but right now I have 16500 moonstones. I've literally never spent a single one.
I log on daily but sometimes it's literally just to check Scrooges shop, collect chests + sell the veggies from Wall-Es garden. If I'm wanting to play for longer I'll do a mining/flower/garden run to keep crafting supplies up and/or decorate when inspired to do so. I do prefer having quests avaliable but I'm definetly not bored. Sometimes I just don't have as much time or energy. Not sure how anyone can run out of room for houses. Pretty sure they would all fit them all in one biome if you wanted them too 😂

I agree it's true with any game that forcing yourself to play will just end up with you losing interest and it'll feel like a chore. Also 1678 hours some of it might be AFK time but still that's impressive

I decorate my valley a little but I'm waiting until the game is finish to create new items and create the Valley of my dreams
i thought i didnt have enough space, then I started redecorating and I've ended up with SO MUCH space
Mickey Mouse doesn't have a child but he has a dog called Pluto.
If you change your game's graphic quality to Low it becomes brighter because it takes off (or easy out) the shadows and textures. This helps a lot specially when decorating the forgotten lands. After finished you can just change the quality back again to whatever level it was!
It's literally just offsets the time so it's daytime.. Nothing to do with changing graphics or textures or quality.
I just change my time I rarely play at nite but when I do I set it so it is near my midday time so it's as bright as it can get.
I feel like our society as a whole has turned into a “give me” society. No one is happy unless they get what they want. And in this game, it’s more quests, more characters, more more more. But they are not remembering that we are still in beta. The developers are working their asses off coming up with exactly that but society isn’t patient enough because they don’t work behind the scenes on this game to know about everything that is happening to get that next update out. Patience is a forgotten character trait that many people need to take a step back and think about what is going on for these updates to be released. If people would slow down their mindsets, maybe there wouldn’t be so much complaining in this “me” society we live in.
Agree! People and their instant gratification needs have got to mellow out, stop and smell the flowers as it were 🤷♀️
I am very curious to see what the new biome is. All I think we can expect is it to contain the gem Alexandrite which is listed to craft the gem & Opal road but atm isn’t available to get. Since they change colour from green by day and red at night maybe that will reflect the new biome colour scheme? Curious to know your thoughts ❤
I'm not a content creator and I do log in everyday. Few times a day even. Sometimes for a small amount of time (scrooge shop/Kristof and finding the blue and green chest)
Sometimes I play longer to decorate, to experimente some stuff, to grind or even sometimes I'm challenging myself to finish one of the tasks (like fishing 100 time without loosing)
I'm still not bored even tho yes I do like when there are new quests it's more fun obviously
But I don't understand the complains
1st no one is obligated to play
2nd they do need time to work on the update
3rd they are still plenty of stuff to do. Every part of the game isn't for everyone (like some people don't like decorating for example) but there's a bit for everyone.
Also for the poster on Reddit and maybe no one will agree with me. But paying for the game just for the quests and not doing star path etc I don't get it ...
I would love to be able to put non fruit bearing cherry blossom trees out ! It love them so much !

About what to do in DLV, at the moment, i just try to log in everyday to go to Scrooge's store and (when i remember 😂) go to Kristoff's stall. I've been trying to complete the Dreamlight duties (not the daily ones) and to complete my collections (especially the critters collection) but i'm almost finished with that. But mostly, i don't spend much time in the game. When i feel like it, i do some decorating and that's it. Just chilling and waiting for the the next update. Like you said, i think the main goal of the game it's about the vibe. It's not a game for you to spend several hours on. Although, if you feel like it, i think there is plenty to do in the Valley(decorating, crafting, harvesting, collecting, etc...).

i’m jus taking my time with the game i love it but sometimes i get bored with it or don’t have the time to play it. i don’t know why so many people rush through the quests , just enjoy the game :)
I can plan the Sims 4 every day and not get bored. But that's because it's a Sandbox game, rather than one that relies on set storylines.
I love the new update, spell whizbang🎉🎉🎉🎉 I would like to have a party right now on it.
I don't think we have too many houses, HOWEVER, I DO think putting houses into certain places can be really awkward. A tiny sliver of rock from a ledge and suddenly the house can't be put down. I also wouldn't mind being able to rotate houses/ objects etc rather than just 90% turns. Everything being a hard 90% angle feels really off.

I’m stuck at around 3200/3000, my storage is full and I can’t place anymore chests, I can’t drop anything at all, no more available quests, 500K Dreamlight, $6M coin. All I do is open the game to get new Scrooge items, and that’s basically it.
You should place chests in your house
@@TheRMUPs if you’re over the space limit outside, you can’t place anything inside either.
@@timeallofgreatestthe I didn't know that. That doesn't make any sense to me since your house is in a different loading zone than the main map and shouldn't be affected by lag and stuff
If you are using PC there is a mod so you can get limited items I am debating trying it, am gonna hit the limit very soon and am nowhere near done decorating
It's still a very new game and constantly updating. Just be patient and have some fun in the game with what you have. I'm sure the devs are grinding in their own way to make the game as entertaining as they can for the masses. But it's impossible to please everybody. 💙

I get people not caring about starpath IF this was a free-to-play game BUT it’s not yet free-to-play. We’re currently playing this as Early Access and we have to pay to be able to play. Why not atleast try and spend those moonstones you got from purchasing the Founder’s Pack. All those moonstones will be spent eventually for buying cosmetics/furniture in the long run anyway… I honestly don’t get why some people opt out on that feature or maybe they just don’t like what’s on starpath? 😢🤔

I don’t get why they don’t add a combat section like they did in kingdom hearts. It would make the game so much more popular. It’s like 70 bucks. The same price as Pokémon open world games or tears of the kingdom but for wayyyyy less. I’m glad it’s free next year but come on 70 bucks is too much for a story game. 70 isn’t cheap for a story game. Harry Potter is a story based game and they have successfully integrated in the gaming scene just by adding combat. Imagine this Disney game

The star path is good but I hope they change the quests most of them are really easy BUT I’ve got to the point that im working of of one quest cause the other five I can’t do as they are things I haven’t gotten yet like hand out with scar 45 times and Anna too n give buzz his fav gifts. So I think I’ll nearly complete it but it’s kinda disappointing. But the paths are sooo good for people getting new things
bored? dont see that happening any time soon personally. I've completed every quest, every star path, have every critter and every dreamlight task thats possible to complete at the moment and there's still so much i can do - my advice if you are would be to take the updates slow, no need to finish everything right away, just enjoy the journey and have fun or take breaks, ddv will always be there to come back to. On homes i def want much more, would allow me to platinum the game and there are many biomes so there is plenty of room at the moment in my opinion + as it grows they will, like next update be adding biomes, so even more space for when it could possible get crowded in the future.
I wouldn't say I get bored with the game. I sometimes get brain fog after opening the game that makes it hard to focus on playing. But that's when I stop and just listen to the music for a bit or just fish for funsies with no real goal in mind.

I feel like even on animal crossing, in between updates i still had plenty to do. At least enough to keep me coming for an hr or 2 a day, not with Dreamlight. And AC dont even have a star path!

I've been done with all the quests since the fall. I also did all my biomes. I still get an idea here and there and redo portions of areas. But yeah if you race thru the star path, not much to do but log in get chests, store and the stall. Clean up all the game trash for coins in a chest. I played Sims mobile games years ago... and this is like those games. I also played WoW for over 10 yrs and all the Sims PC editions for 23 yrs. WoW and The Sims (2&3) for me were games you could play everyday 24/7. This isn't that type of game. This is basically a mobile game made for consoles and PC. I try to do at least some of the Dreamlight Duties each day (just in case they let us turn that Dreamlight into Moonstones one day). The trick is to just play something else. I get way too involved also in the games that I play... so I get where people are coming from. I have noticed if I go play something else then I'm less likely to care if the RNG on the chests is totally off or Scrooge was a scrooge again today by not giving me that Tangled Painting Table😠.... lol. In fact, some days I just forget to log in and really don't care.
Edit: Oh, something else you could do, if you have Disney + is to watch/rewatch the shows of these toons in the game. I'm older, so I didn't know who many of them were. I watched their movies... they were SO cute.

I did get a little board, so I made a new user on my Switch and started playing from the beginning again, but I keep getting stuck with trying to get the bouncy ball behind the couch in Mickey Mouse's house for the Shy Little Robot quest. Then I go back to my original valley
I play an average hour a day, sometimes more depending on mood when I finished all quests, I go to scrooge store, check kirstoff stall & hunt down my chests, sometimes I go hmmm I need to clean this area up & do bit decorating but I'm never really bored. I recently built all the craft items except for water tower & 2 dj booths I ran out of iron lol. I completed all the recipes also. I don't rush the quests to fast cuz I know it's almost 2mths until next update what is the hurry? We are in development stage it is not a complete game, now if it was complete lol seems some these ppl would finish whole game within a month, now what the fun of that? I personally think it a blast being here as each update comes out yeah it glitchy sometimes & that sucks but so neat to kinda see how this develops. As for Star Path OMG what idiots I absolutely adore the statue I got from last path, I missed out on halloween cuz I came in around then & didn't understand how it worked & all or I might have been able to finish it.
I have followed with great interest all of the discussions in multiple places regarding how many house will fit in the current biomes. I’ve seen some absolutely stunning decorating, It IS gorgeous. I wonder though if some of differences in opinion might be related to where one currently lives? I live in a suburb of a medium sized city and my home on 3 acres. It is 4,500 sq ft. If one lives in NY city, they would be more comfy maybe in a busy city and smaller homes. I prefer the space. But don’t worry about houses. Thoughts?

@@RedK5 Right, they can listen to us and add characters we request often. It is super easy to add Melody as a mermaid and human and have her live in her mother's and father's home. Possibilities are endless since they can change and add features at any time. Eventually, they will have all the characters from popular Disney shows. They should not stop at just the popular movies from Pixar and Disney. The only thing they could be doing better now is shorting update periods. Realms should be easy to add since they don't affect the main story. They are so many characters in Disney adding 5 at a time, or even 2 every two weeks, won't stop them from having content to add. Using sequels is even better if they want more popular Disney characters to be a part of the main story.
Didn't get bored of it, it stopped feeling like the great game it was once the micro transactions dropped, once they were their, it ruined the game for me, and I haven't played in a month now
This game is such a grind you cant even enjoy it.
To be fair, this Start Path was ugly and not worth the work. I still completed it. 😒

The rate of gameplay that is released is not sustainable. It’s a fun game, and I think the developers did a great job on it, but it doesn’t seem like they really have a plan to keep the game interesting. Releasing one to two hours of gameplay every two months is a bad idea, especially with how much competition the market has. If this game wasn’t based on Disney characters, it wouldn’t have been released in the current incomplete form. I think they should look at Stardew Valley for some tips.
I actually got this game on release day played for a month and haven't touched it since. Just to repetitive and such a grind. With no real reward. I've been following the updates but nothing has drawn me back to the game. Infact the last update with the premium shop pushed me even further away. 😢
Nah I just uninstalled it. I regret spending the £ on it so much I want to punch myself.
