I got an diferent 10mm, a TTartisans for APS-C. For my line of work 10mm is just perfect, it make my life easier when turning a horizontal video to a vertical one
I'm in love with 14GM. Ultra wıde angle combined with wide aperture is magic! And the quality of bokeh is amazing. The only thing that i had to buy a square filter adapter for this lens
I started up my photography page on TikTok a few weeks ago and love seeing your videos on my fyp. Definitely fits my vibe 100%. Ive been kinda obsessing over getting a wide angle lens but I shoot on the a6600 so ive been researching the best lens to get in the 8-18ish equivalent focal length area. Just wanted to pop by and say thanks for the awesome content!
How??? - What an impressive lens! - it's so exciting to see all these really funky portable options for full frame, from the minuscule 28mm f/4.5 Viltrox, the impossibly light 70-300 from Tamron, the 75mm T2 from TTArtisan, now this. Is there any reason to go for APS-C/MFT for a travel compact camera anymore?
if you're interested in old school wide lenses for Sony, you might wanna check out the Sony (Minolta) 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens, model SAL16F28. But depending on which camera body you have, you'll need to get an adapter for A-Mount to E-Mount. (:
Very tempted to look into this lens. I just wanna see how fast it is for sports photography. I shoot skate and MTB and currently use a fully manual fish eye that is fickle to focus. Anyone got any experience?
Hi! I really enjoyed your video - as always, it's packed with useful information! Thanks for the great content. I have a question that I think might interest others as well. Could you explain what kind of filter mount you're using and which filter is currently on this lens? I'd really appreciate your answer!
9:13 For super quick and Dirty getting the job done, you'd probably rather want a combo of 12-24, 24-105 and 100-400. If you want to be doing more high class kind of stuff you can go for some primes like 20 or 24, 35 and 75 - maybe a 50. You may also want to consider Sigmas F1.8 28-45, which basically produces an image like a prime, but is acutally a zoom lens with slightly limited range, but definitely not limited range when you consider what it gets you. With that lens you can even leave the 24, 35 and 50 at home. And believe me - the image it produces looks incredibly good. But for better paid jobs you definitely want to pack up primes anyway so your client notices more that what he gets is definitely THE BEST. They can be cocky sometimes if they want the look produced by primes and then get a zoom lens, even if that zoom lens is actually incredible. At least if that customer doesnt know you as well. Also with lens switches more often, it makes sense that you are a more expensive person to pay for.
I love the size of this but I do have a 12-24 GM and so im torn. Also cant use filters on the 12-24 and its twice the weight of the Laowa. Would you get the Laowa if you had the 12-24 GM?
hy man! awsm work! can you tel me the diameter of the focus ring? i want to use a focus motor and i want to bui a focus ring gear. and i need to know the diameter. PS: the lens is on the way thats why i cant measure by my self. thanks!
how'd you get it if its not released yet? I'm looking for this lens for such a long time but every site still says its "coming soon" btw, great work! love your videos and I've been learning from you a lot recently!
It has been released some time ago. You just have to wait because it is still on backorder. I had to wait for mine around six months. Maybe the situation is a bit better now, I don’t know.
I wish someone would compare this to a gopro for all mode linear+ wide and superview. I use a gopro on my trampoline and if I could I would use my sony a7cii. The widest I have is a sigma 16-28mm. everything looks baked in therefore not the most pleasing video quality. I wish I could use a lens like this.
Got this two weeks ago and I'm loving it.
did you have to wait a long time for the pre order?
@@demojoys I was waiting from February!! Haha
Just got mine and it’s awesome. Finally got in stock on Amazon.
I bought one last Tuesday: it's more than amazing. Really love it!
Bro, your style is tremendous 😤👌🏾🔥🔥
Absolutely loving this lens for travel videography!

This would be a dream come true if it had AF on Canons RF mount, even with just the MF I´m still considering this i just love the look of it.

Super helpful to know your recommended social media lens set up! Interesting how you didn’t include the 24-70!

Are you using the lights in the description for your desk setup ???
I got this lense a couple of weeks ago but Nikon auto focus just came available to order.
I have the Sony 11mm 1.8 crop lens and it looks great on full frame cameras!
U're the first person telling me he does not use the 24-70^^

Nice video! Like that lens. I really like your grading bro, can you make a video about your grading process ?
Great job on the video! Thanks for making it.
Peace just sitting there while you talk to make the shot more interesting 😂
would you still reccommend the samyang 8mm? this one would be more in my budget. :)

What size of ND Filter do you use with that lense? 86mm or 92mm?
The Filter he's using is the Freewell K2 system

10MM FULL FRAME WIDE RECTAL IN EAR IS CRAZY 📸🍑🤳😭🤣

Hey gaku! can you make a video of how you color grade your videos please!
Thanks!! Do you use the Sigma contemporary 10-18mm lens too? I wonder what’s your review on this lens
but it doesn't cover full frame sensor. maybe it will work but a lot more vignetting.

brother. you. are. a. G. Congrats, keep up
The Wizard 🧙♂️
You deserve more RUclips views
I got this, insane value
Please do a tutorial about your color grading process 😢
anyone know how long it takes to receive the e-mount version?
how'd you get it if its not released yet?

Might have to check it out!
sadly they’re sold out, I’ve been waiting for mine since early september
Waiting for this to become availale
yup it's a GOAT.
sigh every time i reassure myself about switching to an s5iix the lens selection gets me
Adapters!
@@a_cowwithlegs an E to L mount adapter isn't possible apparently 😭
looks a pretty cool lens, the Laowa 12mm also has similar crazy close focus, just no AF
Isn't this the 0 distortion lens from Laowa.
how is it vs the Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL
Can You link the nd filter you use?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think the ND filter he's using is the "Haida PRO II CPL-VND 2" and another filter (maybe an adaptater ring?)
how you color grade this video
would you recommend the RF mount version of this lens even though its a MF lens?
Is there any reason not to go for it with an APS-C camera?
there's a lot of smalller and cheaper options out there. except maybe you have full frame and aps-c at the same time.

dope!!
wich nd filter you use? @Gaku Lange
Yeah which ND filter is that ?
I've been looking in good wide lens for architecture and real estate, I stumbled upon 12mm laowa Zero-D did anyone try it?
if anyone is seeing this RIGHT NOW, there's 13 left on amazon:)
💪💪💪
Nobody: …
Peace: “🙂↕️”
What do you mean with “Versatile” ? I mean it’s still a wide angle lens..
True this is definitely not a lens to always have on your camera like a 35mm.
Mau👌👌
I just hate that the L mount is not AF 😭
Sadly doesn’t do autofocus with Canon mounts :(
Feel this 😶🌫️
a little bit.. 1:58 lol
0:58 Bro, wanna maybe get off the phone?
More of a taste thing but i dont like these type of bloom effect on videos, it looks to dreamy
