I never heard him play this song on piano. The last line 'When will I see you again' is also remarkable, as he would use it later in 'A man needs a maid'. Obviously Neil Young was still working on the songs for his album 'Harvest'.

Actually a lot of the piano in this is similar to A Man Needs a Maid which I believe he did a mash up with A Heart of Gold.

Even with piano, this song is great (perhaps more emotional than the "normal way".

He definitely is more at home on guitar, much of keyboard is sloppy and awkward. Great songwriter though.
