tbh, I don't like how they did that. While in this game you do play as an elite brigade of one of the three factions, calling every single riflemen in the JTF a ghost kind of undermines how badass the Ghosts are supposed to be. elite of the elite recruited from various US SOGs. now they're just grunts in the 1000's.
Loved this game as a kid after picking up C&C3. I remember the one and only gripe I had was that the camera was hard locked to whichever unit you selected. Later on I realized that was how they implemented a “fog of war” without literally dousing the map in fog was you could only see what your units saw. With that being said I still wish there was a camera free float option in AI non campaign or online games so that you could at least fully explore the worlds as they live instead of the single frame of free flight you get at the end of a game
This is one of the few RTS I know with a solid foundation for competitive play next to Starcraft. The combat in this game is so good together with the uplink points. Great concept. This could have been a real E-sport RTS. SO much better then the base building RTS we have these days.
I think sometimes the fallen units can still spot your units, so unit killing could stop artillery from shelling you or giving up your infantry's position.
I miss this game so much it was simple easy and it just let me play around for fun I wish they would have made a second and then a third obviously improving each time

Even though it becomes easy, its still addictive. AI also keeps interesting in every map I have played, and these funny glitches tho. I wish I could have had recorded them.
The biggest problem is that EndWar was, well, too different even for RTT (which is a subgenre of the RTS genre and what this game actually is) standards. People forget that the RTS genre (and its subgenres) have a fandom problem that rivals _freaking Star Wars_ in terms of how toxic it can be. I should know how toxic Star Wars was, because I came into the fandom just as the Prequels came in... and oh boy did it blow up like you wouldn't believe...
Ngl I wish there was this game remade and you could even take on control through perspective of a soldier, pilot or driver as such as well as commander
Man I thought the ai was bad at defending your other territories when I play on expert but holy crap lol. Win 1 battle but then the friendly ai will lose 2 of your territories.
2 reasons. The ai will target that if I don't play like Europe and don't have the ability to run away. Which in turn kills 2 squads in 1 place. Second mostly I dont think it's a great idea.

Hello, when I was 10 years old I played this game on the Xbox 360 and I was instantly hooked, unfortunately it was only a demo, but recently I was able to play it on a not so good PC, but according to the specifications my PC could run it without problems, the thing here is that the game was very slow, not in fps, but rather, it was as if you had put it in slow motion, I don't know if it was due to the compatibility of the PC (By the way, it is not a PC, it is a laptop), If anyone knows how I can configure my laptop to be able to play it fluently and without that slow problem, please answer me. (Already try selecting Windows XP SP2 in the compatibility options in game properties).
