Anyone can say anything when times are good. They can love you and “be there” for you when shit is going well. But substance is found in their actions when the times are tough. When shit gets heavy. Chris you've been taking too much gabapentin to think Travis Scott isn't guilty
Travis Scott is on video acknowledging that someone died and just kept going. This type of thing has happened at more than one of his shows. He encourages his crowds to act like that. This is absolutely on Travis Scott.
U can say he shares blame, but u can't place it solely on him...the venue itself should've done more, like u said he has a history and these venues are aware.

I have to disagree about Travis Scott. There’s a video of him looking directly at what was going on. He definitely had the ability and responsibility to stop the show and make sure everyone was okay. He had the most influence of the crowd than anyone there. Scott, particularly, prides himself on controlling crowds. There’s videos of other big rappers stopping the show to make sure someone in a medical emergency was okay. Some rappers have even left the stage and gone to the victim before resuming the performance. And if you think Scott cares about those people, you have not seen the statement video he made about the tragedy. It’s pure cringe and shows where his priorities lie.

Travis Scott is absolutely responsible because we all know the power of music can affect a person’s mentality and also he straight up told people to break shit and go nuts… oh and it was also HIS festival.
So he has control over the staff, security, safety personnel , police etc?making sure everything is up to code at the venue..I’m not even a fan of T.Scott.. but I’ve been to some very, very intense violent shows in the metal/ hardcore genre that encourage you to destroy shit.. and as for some random handing out drugs which I presume was fentanyl laced , causing people to od.. that’s his fault too huh?

Ehhhhh.. the opinion about Travis I disagree with. He definitely has to blame to bear.
The crowd, live nation, and Travis Scott are all at fault for what happened at astroworld. Travis acknowledged the ambulance in the crowd, and stopped the show at one point when that unconscious dude was getting crowd surfed outta the pit- Trav ignored the red flags and kept the show going despite everything that began to transpire. The crowd was ignorant and showed up without a care in the world about who might be around them that night- they only started to care about one another when death/injury was imminent. Definitely agree with Chris’s acknowledging Gen Z’s part in this tragedy. And live nation of course are at fault for piss poor event planning.
Don't forget the police
Not only that, but this isn’t the first time Travis has done this, ignored the rules for safety that are in place TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE, told his audience to ignore the security, and incited riots at other performances of this. He has even been arrested for it before. This was totally preventable, and just pure negligence.

Does this mean that Travis Scott should be cancelled and have his life ruined? No. Should he be held accountable to the degree he is found at fault? Absolutely. I believe in second chances. Mans gotta do something different from here on out.
@@galaysh220 Sure, but if the way he reacted to it, during the show and with the "apology video", is an accurate portrayal of how he feels about the situation (seemingly unphased and lacking empathy) then he deserves the flack. That said, idk if the way most people view his reaction is how he actually feels. Can't really be sure.

@@chasefroning I would recommend reading the book caffeine blues for a full picture on the effects of caffeine on health. In Chris’s case, he appears to have TMJ, anxiety, and RLS. The amount of caffeine he ingests is very significant. I would like to point out that Chris’s brain that we all know and love is a caffeinated brain. So while it may solve these health problems it could be at the detriment of his comedy. Idk just a thought.
