  • still need to make the lower part, but today was a good day. once it's all complete, I'm spreading some Evercoat, sand it, prime it, and get it ready for paint.. don't worry, I'll be sure to show all that on the continued part of the bumper lip.
Thank you guys so much for watching!

Hello guys, I want to thank everyone for watching this video and taking the time to comment. One of the most commented things is to Wear a Mask for safety, and to use a thinner to Save on Brushes. Rest assured, I will definitely take those tips in consideration for my next fiberglass project. Once again, Thank You and God Bless!

The cheaper and best way To keep the brush clean is washing powder, just mix some wasing powder in the water and clean the brush b4 it gets hard

Thinner for the brushes?? I know you were just being polite bro and that is very cool of you to not be a dick to your subscribers like many other channels would have done. That being said, allow me to take that role for you!! Are you people eating paint chips?? For real!! First of all if you have ever worked with fiberglass resin then you would know how thick and sticky it is. You would use 3 dollars in thinner to save a 89 cent chip brush. I never went to school for any type of accounting or book keeping but I can say that is not a good idea to do! LoL for real though, those chip brushes he is using are made for one time use for projects like this one. You can get them for around a dollar depending on the size and even less if you get them by the box. Plus when he showed how to stick the brush in the mixing tub then letting it dry and pulling it out in one big chunk like that is oh so satisfying for some reason! Dont ask me why because I cant tell you exactly why, but it just is!! The part with the safety glasses and a mask though I definitely agree with everyone else on that! Its itchy and when its hot having on a mask really sucks, but years from now you will be glad you did!! Part looks awesome too by the way!

i just want to say, I used to work in a carbon fiber/ fiberglass shop. We made everything from go karts to airplane wings, You need the roller to remove all the small air pockets in the material, You may not see them but small air pockets can cause it to splinter after a short amount of time and crack, it will give you a longer part life if you roll it, You need a respirator, you dont want it in your lungs, Clear fibers that you cannot cough up. Think about that, one other thing is I would save some time and money and just grab a dremel with a cutting tool, a grinder is okay, but you can cut faster and more precise with a dremel with a cutting wheel.

Instead of wasting brush, you can immerse the brush onto the paint thinner every time you want to take brake for the new layer. I only use 1 brush for each project.

Drew Nottz I buy the brushes from harbor freight. These 2" come in a box of 36 for about $12, but I guess you're right.. I could extend the life just by cleaning them once or twice, and save a few coin on the long run. 🙂👍
