Gi is t very first junk journaler I found on Facebook. Then I found this entire wonderful community of open hearted artist so willing to share their ideas and knowledge. It’s a wonderful group of people. Gayle you are the best.
I like the idea of everything is fair game that envelopes don't just have to be envelopes it gives so many ideas. Love how they came out, Tyfs
Now I don't wanna go to work, i'd rather get in my craft room and craft with you! You are so inspiring, tysm!
Cute little tri-folds! Thank you for sharing! Oh! I have a little tip for ya, Gayle. When you find yourself inking edges of a pocket that’s already been glued down, just slip a piece of scrap paper in the pocket to protect the underside from getting ink where you really don’t want it. It works great for me, so it should work good for you too! Have fun!
I crafted along with you and made a folding booklet! Turned out great. Thanks for sharing.
Really cute little folios. I watch Gi Kerr. She has some very unique ideas. I love your crazy quilt cover. It is gorgeous!!!
Cute booklet and so fun! I love love love the crazy quilt cover! It is gorgeous! ❤
Wow, what great idea! You could even change up how you glue it together and get different fold outs. Thanks for showing us this.
These are fun little folders and wow, those two journal covers are gorgeous, Gayle! 😍xx
I just love these!!! Shocker! I love everything you make
Thank you for this great tutorial/craft with me video. I love all your chat too.
Such awesome ephemera. I really like the trifold papers. You are so creative! Thank you for sharing 🤗
These folding booklets are magnificent. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us beautiful. ❤🌞🌟👍🦋☀️👏💓
Love love love the folding booklet. Great ideas 😊❤️
Love the folders! And those book covers are yummy! Oh I was born in Idaho, those little cards would be super fun!
Such a fun project Gayle! Thanks so much for sharing - can’t wait to try it! Hope you feel better - take good care of yourself 🤗😍❤️
I can't wait to see what you will do with the postal cards. I must get some, because my Dad was Post Mastet for 35 years. I used to help cancel the letters and put letters in their boxes. He was sooo fast at sorting. Great memories.
Hi Gayle, I think I like the material with the bugs and fern as the outside covers. Love your videos.
Great little folio.. love it... gonna definitely make these..
A masterpiece video! Thank you Gayle!
So enjoyed this as I was crafting today...you said 'In here is Tracie'! I looked up, Gayle...I wondered what I was in! LOL I dont know why it made me giggle so much! xxx
Haha! Yes! Always adding a bit of Tracie or sticking Tracie here or there! 😂. Love you, my friend! ❤️
Lol 😊😊
You remind me of Bob Ross. You say some of the same things he did. You’re so relaxing to watch/listen to.
Thank you so much!
GAYLE I LIKE YOUR IDEA OF THE RING HOLDING SCRAPS OF FABRIC.
I saw Gi Kerr's video too and thought they were cute! I really liked the way you decorated them. Can't wait to see what you do with the small cards; I just got some from a game and hope to use your ideas for them. Both of the journal covers were such a tease! I'll be watching to see them develop!!
Loving watching as always. Thanks so much!
I have nothing to add to any of the comments below....you make my morning! The little material swatches are another great and handy idea. My NyQuil hangovers and dreams are about the same..... lol
The booklets are so pretty Gayle!! They are going to look awesome in your journals!! TFS!1 Hugs, Liz:)
Cool folding booklets. I found that the UHU glue does better with paper more than cardstock. Once I learned that, everything went fine. I'm matting & glueing pictures of my life in Canada in my Sunflower Journal. While drinking Coconut Rum!!
Looks great and your sure to put your own touch to it and then perfect 👌. I enjoy both videos hers and yours.
Hugs
Such a cool little folder! I got some practice cards and onion skin paper! I remember my mom writing letters to my dad on onion skin paper when he was working overseas; so excited to get some!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Go for it Gayle.....you can do it !!!!!
Hi Gayle, You're blurry today. But no worries; can hear well and see the how to.
We just got on the road. We were so unorganized this time getting the RV ready. I was a real bumbler this morning trying to get ready. We haven't camped in over two years due to my two summers of ailments. But finally we are on the road. Staying a week at the Jellystone Park. And WOW, the Fall colors going through the Appalachians Mountains are just gorgeous!
And yes, the little rascal germ pool finally hit me. I went to a doctor last year and she literally called the schools kiddie cesspools. LOL But, even if I run a 105 degree temperature, I'm going to enjoy this vacation! Both my hubby & deserve it after this summer of being laid up, which why everything is unorganized. My hubby was really frustrated this morning about that, but I told him it is what it is...we need to learn to adjust to being older as it's just not going to get better. Be thankful for the days we have. As you said, "Live big".
I brought along craft supplies so I can keep working on the journal and other things. I told my husband I'll probably skip fishing as I don't want to take a chance falling down and re-hurting the knee. It's still not quite stable enough for reeling in salmon.
I glue off the edges, too. Helps it look homemade. LOL The first folder turned out adorable. And the second, too! I will be making one of these and I know where to put it. Another good video.
Well, enjoy the rest of your Monday, friend! I hope you don't get sick. never fun feeling' icky. Hugs! Sue
I made this with you. I loved the way it came out. Thanks again for sharing. Have a blessed day.
I made one right along with you❣️ I love yours😍
I bought some of your practice cards 😍 I was so happy to finally be able to buy something from you woo hoo❣️❣️❣️
Thank you so much, Linda! ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli, You’re so welcome 😍
I get so excited when my phone alerts me about a new toturial from Gayle , thanks for spending some time with me Gayle and as always for a good laugh or 2 .
The artymaze journal looks So yummy! Will Surely wait for the video on that
Hi Gayle I love watching your videos and especially when you have the giggles. This is the first time I’m leaving a comment. You know the small cards that The mail man needed to learn the addresses. They remind me how the old televisions used to look. TV antenna, the base, and the circle channel changers. It would be something we haven’t seen in a long time. Bye luv ya
Thanks for leaving a comment, Cynthia! Come back to chat anytime! 😁❤️
The booklet is adorable...Janet
One of the Post Masters I work for use to work in Idaho and I think she will will love a pack of the postal cards. I know I do! Thank you for explaining how you did the leather cover. I think I can do that. :) I love the folding booklet and it has been awhile since I was at Gi's channel. I need to go pop by and say hi. :)
Gayle you are a hoot. I love to watch you, it makes me happy. I just want to tell you to take that piece of paper you are using to make the pocket on back and fold it and tear it makes your last fold out and glue the last little piece to make a pocket. I have just made one for my idea book and you reminded me of myself trying to figure it out. Also I like your version so will put one of those in my book too
I am watching you videos while watching baseball. So far you are a good luck charm.
Love your little trifolds! I ordered some of those address cards and I am so excited to get them. Thanks Gayle! Hugs, Amy💕😺
Thank you so much, Amy! Off in the mail tomorrow! My mailbox was full today!! 😘❤️
That is so funny, I just used the same fabric that you used inside the leather cover to recover the seats of my dining room chairs. That is the bug fabrics.
I made this too from Gi Kerr (she is so talented as are you) and was so excited to see you make it too 😃 love love love them both! Can’t get enough of ephemera making tutorials so thank you so much for sharing Gayle 😁 x
Love watching you!! You make me laugh ALL the time!! Learn so much and really enjoy working alongside your videos (wish I did social media, to share). Luv ya, Gayle! Peace and Blessings!
Woo hoo! I had to rewind to hear my name a second time! I feel like I got a hug from the nicest celebrity around. :)
🤗🤗🤗❤️
Love the trifold!! 💗💗
I love the little ephemera folio. So cute. The covers for your DT projects are great. I love the crazy quilt one. Awesome
Lovely little flippy pockets. :) tyfs
Love these. Tfs I've never seen the little post office cards before. Interesting to see and hear about even though I'm way to late to buy them.
These are so cute! Thanks for sharing 🥰I’ve been having internet problems so many videos to catch up on
You ended up confusing me too, Gayle. 😄😉 I had to stop your video to double check Gi's. You were on the right track, though. You just had to cut the last piece in half again. Though having said that, I quite liked your version too. I also love the crazy quilt cover, very me! 👍
The crazy quilt cover wow. Looks like the quilt my husbands great grandmother made in 1922 in Fremont Nebraska. I have it hanging on rack in front of fireplace. But I am too sentimental so I'm not going to cut my quilt up. I saw This utube on these booklets can't wait to make some after work
Got a chuckle with the Elmira card... I live close by.
You are my favorite!!!! You are an excellent teacher. Still can't find the tear ruler. I really would like to have one. I'll try to keep looking. Have a great day, Gayle❤
Debbie, the tear ruler is available on my website (listed in the description box under my videos) under Gayle’s Favorite Things at gayleagostinelli.com/gayles-favorite-things/. ❤️
Brilliant work as always.🌹☕🍁
Hi Gayle, drink lemon grass tea every evening to improve your immune system. Guarantee to help combat the flu and if you do catch the flu or cold, it won't be so severe. I'm so glad you mentioned GI Kerr in your video. I think she's so sweet and talented just like you. Tfs GOD Bless and stay well. Thanks for the laughs. I always enjoy your videos.
Me too! I was so delighted to hear my name. It’s like having your name called out on Romper Room!
Too funny, I always think the same thing when she calls out names!! All she needs is the magic mirror to look in..lol I wonder if Gayle ever watched Romper Room...
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I sure do enjoy it.
Your folding booklets were cute! I'll have to check out gi Kerr, thank you for the recommendation!
Those look fun!
These look like they would be fun to make. I will definitely be trying some soon. Have a blessed day!
Good morning Gayle! I followed along with you when you mafe the folios. They are awesome. I made two of them also..😊 Thanks for a wonderful video. Hugs to you. ❤❤
Gayle, my friend, you crack me up sometimes in a good way, of course. I love watching your videos. lol
Love this thank you so much for sharing with us
Super cute!😍
I made four of these folding booklets right along with you but still need to decorate them as I need them for a Journal. Good to add to my mass making ephemera box. 😊💖😊
I watch G Kerr too, everyone who does JJ have great ideas, creative and are very helpful to us newbie’s. Post office cards are nice. 👍🍁🍁🍁
Fascinating what can be created from a sheet of paper!
You are so funny! This is a fun video, thanks for sharing 😍🌴
I also watched Gi Kerr's video late at night, and had to make one right away! She tore her sheet of into 5 pieces (the smallest piece you had was torn in half, too), so she had one of the smallest pieces left over. I also like the way you did it, because it didn't require a second sheet of paper to do the largest pocket, which hers did.
Did you see the flippy thingy that Barbara of 49Butterflies just made in her last video? It was from a video that Tracie did, but Barbara's was a stand alone piece, which I really liked. Hers wasn't a tutorial, but then neither was Tracie's.
It looks so fine to put in a Book, I Will try when I get My stuff unpacked😃
I’d love to see a walk thru of your idea book!
Love this
Great video Gayle...
Another great video TFS 💕
I love these. I just made one last night. Super easy. Yours is so pretty! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing such simple, but very pretty journal elements!!!
Yours works (and looks) just fine but I think where you went off the rails is that you didn't tear the last piece in half. One of those halves was made a pocket on the last fold out. You actually end up with 5 pieces with one small piece that doesn't get used. And she used something different (one of her decorative papers) to make the pocket on the back page.
Thanks for sharing this tri fold thingy, love the Gayle method 😘😘😘😁😁
44:55...Jack Benny said "It's a matter of mind over matter--if you don't mind, it doesn't matter."
giggling along with you as I'm watching.....
Fun idea!
I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU MADE-YOUR VIDEOS ARE WONDERFUL-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
I was politely hollering "Distress it first Gayle!!! Distress it before gluing it down!!!!" But unfortunately you didn't hear me :( Great video and they turned out beautiful as always :)
I watched this Gi Kerr video couple weeks ago & loved it too. Just happened upon it, like you did as a recommended vid to watch. So cute. Like your take too. I think she tore one of the small pieces in half again. ?
NyQuil gives me fuzzy brain too 😜
I liked your way too I did it the same way as you too
Great job I did watch the other channel too
Great video, good idea (doing it your own way😉). I find it terribly hard to use up scraps. One (I) always seems produce new ones😆
Hers might have another flip out. Haha. You need one more tear in half of that last pc to make it smaller
Yep, she does. That last piece gets tore in half and it's that piece that gets it's little corner turned down at the top. I love this little book 🤗
It’s all about making it our own, right? Great job as always. I watched the same video but haven’t had the chance to take it on yet. Hugs.
I love Gi's videos, her Bookmark Belly Band tutorial is my favourite :)
I love how you adapted them though (intentional or not lol) xx
Your just adorable and funny.!!😁.😘💗..love your flip book..tfs..👌😁💗
I made this tri fold from Gi Kerr too. I love hers and yours. Now I want to see you make her next one that takes two pieces because I am not sure I did this right.
I didn’t see the one with 2 papers..can you link her to show us?
@@lindaclausen5477 look for Gi Kerr craft with me flip out book 2
Jennifer Litton jenlitscreations, I remember now seeing that one. Thank you
I love Gi Kerr. I made one too, so easy!
love this ephemera, Gayle, so fun
Such adorable booklets!! Got to make some!!!! Question...do you remember what set(s) the ArtyMaze papers/envelopes came from? I looked on her Etsy page for them and nothing I saw looked like what you are using! Don't worry if you don't know, but I sure love them!!!! Hugs to you dearheart!!! Thanks for my daily Gayle dose of fun, laughter and love!!
It’s A Touch of Autumn. ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct , thank you dear girl!!!! I saw that but didn't recognize the flowers!!!! BVut, anyway, my poor eyesight I guess!!! So, now, off to order it, I just Artymaze's sets....she's great!!!!
I don’t know Gayle, the end of the trifold looked the same to me, and I didn’t take any NyQuil ! 🤪
Yes Ms.Gayle, you made it the same way. No NyQuil for you young lady.😘
I saw this on Gi's site and she doesn't fold down the last part and make it a pocket it's a fold out. The reason you haven't seen for a while was that she had someone sick in her family. I follow a quite a few and I'm sad when I don't see someone.
What a great idea love it xx
