obviously this is an older video, but I'm just getting into 3d printing with my first printer en route to me and I'm trying to learn everything I can in the mean time. I'm wondering if software like cura is still needed in 2024. I understand that slicing is still a part of the process, as is 3d modeling with something like blender or fusion 360, however not sure exactly where cura fits into the mix. My first printer is the elegoo Neptune 4 plus in case that matters. Thanks for all the vids, your channel has been an invaluable resource to wrap my head around this new hobby.

Now would you do this AFTER exporting to Armor Smith and scaling the armor to print, so you are cutting pieces to the right size? Or... do you cut and slice and then fit the pieces to an armor smith Avatar?
