1. Be gracious 2. Take care keeping clean of your external world: your environment (house, car, purse/bag, yard, etc. ) 3. Remove vulgarity (cursing, dirty jokes, raunchy TV/movies, etc. ) 4. Enjoy the small things in life (make the little things feel special, not mundane) 5. Tidy up your appearance (it's more about continuous improvement and consistency, not a final destination)
I really appreciated your disclaimer at the beginning of this video because I’ve noticed this increased aggravation around the topic of femininity & it’s had my mind truly boggled. A lot of people who criticize it seem to have a problem under the guise that women who are interested in femininity are judgmental or close minded when in fact their comments are judgmental & close minded... & doesn’t exactly allow for a woman to have the freedom to choose the lifestyle that she prefers. The irony is palpable! But as you said... diversity includes differing beliefs, cultures, etc. And you addressed this with such grace. I love your channel! Thank you for deciding to continue making content :)
tryingtofindmyNICHE I agree... I think the femininity community has began splitting and branching so it was necessary for her to say that. There are some channels with women who are looking to become better than others or feel they can be better through elegance in a conceited way. I feel for example some channels (I don't want to start drama so if you know, you know) come up with terms to separate themselves from "average women" or "plain janes", I do not feel this is the true aim of feminine women. I think we are purely trying to improve ourselves and feminist is something in us that we decide to nurture and celebrate instead of shy away from. This negativity shouldn't be attached to the label of femininity in general.
Truly, you ARE an independent woman! Being able to be disciplined enough to choose what you have around you, standing up for your lifestyle and maintaining the world you built around yourself. I loathe when people can't view gentleness as a type of strength. As if it doesn't take discipline, patience and strength of will to remain gentle and steadfast in the face of stressors, tragedy and chaos? Tenderness and elegance take work and bring great joy to everyone they touch.
What a beautiful piece of encouragement to read today! You are absolutely right and that is my perspective as well. Because if you could only be admirable through work, how are people who cannot work supposed to find virtue? Like the elderly? Or disabled people? Such a good perspective to have! Thank you for sharing 😌😌
Yes! Gentleness and kindness are huge strengths that take great courage and often sacrifice and it is so sad that we live in a world that can no longer see that
I agree about building your environment. My Mom has always told me to "treat yourself like you're company." Set yourself a place setting even if you're eating alone. Make or takedown your bed like you're hosting a guest. Cook a special meal & serve it with a little flare. Things like that. It really does make you feel better & you carry that with you everywhere.
germansnout That is such a good piece of advice from your mom! I am going to keep that in mind. It can be easy to fall into a pattern of treating ourselves badly...... wearing old stained sweats at home and just eating crackers from the box for dinner. Haha. But it is nice to take time and effort to treat yourself well, however that looks for you. It could mean wearing pretty, well-fitting sweats! 🙂
Love this! I agree with it. I used to be the kind of girl to eat a TV dinner straight from the carton and then pull chips straight out the bag. That is NOT a sign of self respect. Now I make my meals from scratch and serve them on a proper setting with cloth napkins and nice music. I refuse to eat off anything but a proper plate unless we are camping or travelling. It’s so much enjoyable. It’s a small way to level up but it impacts your self respect.
" Diversity is more than just skintones, it includes costumes, beliefs, values and ways of viewing the world. So to be a truly tolerant person accepting of diversity we must remember that people live life differently than us" Did you hear that haters? I love this woman, i'm not even a christian or a homemaker, but i like her. All she puts out there is positivity. Can't believe people are offended by her. The fact that she has haters, just goes to show that some people will always hate, no matter what.
I really think it's pure jealousy. . Why else would anyone be like that! I can see why someone may feel inferior to her but why would anyone want to be ugly on the inside when it shows on the outside! I'd say be wary of that ugliness biting you on the behind! When you think that by taking her advice you would become more like the person who makes you feel inferior, how can you lose! It's that simple. If you're not interested in someone's innocent content, it's very simple: don't watch!
I’m a feminine lesbian with a Christian background and probably live a very different lifestyle but I love your videos and never feel like you’re trying to judge anyone. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your bundle of joy.
I’m a feminine bisexual 💜 I love seeing more lgbt ladies being visible on the feminine journey. I recommend Lotte Jeffs book on elegance, she’s a lesbian and wonderfully expresses cultivating the divine feminine for the sake of itself instead of in relation to the masculine.
I love the vibe on this channel! As a kid, I went through a major princess phase! I know that many do, but for me I tried to be a lady. I wore dresses, tried to respond with grace, and loved femininity! Then I realized I was being looked down upon, and felt that I had to change due to society! I did in my teen years, because I was scared about not being accepted! I felt like I was born in the wrong era. I found this channel and I’m very happy! Thank you for making a channel and talking about this because in today’s society we do not see women being feminine as much anymore! I love you and hope you and your baby the best wishes throughout your pregnancy! Thank you for making it this far anyone who reads this! Have a nice day :)
I just wanted to thank you for your beautiful thoughts. As a teenage girl living in an environment that doesn't laud real femininity, Catholicism, or purity, I thrill to your videos. I've learned so much from you and look up to you! I have come to appreciate my feminine beauty and play it up instead of hiding it to fit in with society. Every topic you come out with is just filled with little jewels that make my life better and that I wish more people would understand. So thank you for standing out as yourself, sharing beauty and elegance to those who know you! God bless you and your family!
The “taking more time” philosophy really translates into EVERY area and so improved my life. We exist in a cult of efficiency and productivity in 2020, and I think for a long time we have overlooked the value of going slow and taking time to smell and appreciate the roses. Taking time = elegance but it also = better mental health, ultimately allowing you to be more gracious, serene, polished etc.
So sorry you even had to say that disclaimer at the beginning. If people get offended it is a reflection of them not a reflection of you because it is true you have never not once said all women should be like this so people need to leave you alone. You talk to people who want to watch your videos about these topics. If they don’t like these topics then why are they watching it. You can’t please everyone right. Stay beautiful stay bright stay blessed. Love you Mrs. Midwest ♥️
I'm at my first English speaking job, and I really appreciate that you always took care of viewers whp speak English as a second language.Even though I'm fluent in english, and consume all sorts of content in that language , I'm having a hard time picking up on all different american accents.Enjoy this time, and keep up the good work! ❤️
People who see embracing femininity and promoting it as an attack on them most likely have some internal issues they need to work through. I hope they do, eventually. Nothing you ever said could've been interpreted as an attack on ANYONE! God bless you and your future family!
@Dana Marie Thing is, most feminists, who say they promote women doing what ever they like, seem to take huge issues with women who WANT to be traditional.
I was thinking the same thing. Beautiful brown baby doll addressed something similar when she was talking abt weight loss... Like if you're trying to watch what you eat sometimes the ppl around you feel attacked like you're making a comment on their weight when in fact you're just doing your own thing.
I would love if you made a video on your daily hygiene/grooming routine! I struggle with having a routine and so I definitely don’t always look put together. I’m trying to step away from that “tomboy in sweatpants” vibe to a real woman. 💕
I don't know if this would apply to you but what helped me was finding a couple cute dresses that I didn't have to mess with too much. I could hop out of bed and throw on a dress and it would instantly put me in a more feminine mindset. On days when I was planning on being more active I would throw on a pair of biker shorts under the dress. Just my suggestion if you haven't already tried that out. :)
I'm not a woman, nor do I strive for "elegance", But RUclips put this at the top of my recommended list, So I watched, and since I am someone who aims for excellence, It was nice to find some form of applicability in each of the video's tips.
I love your channel although I am a grandmother. I grew up at a time when we had similar values to you and your videos remind of that more elegant time during the 1950's and 60's when homemaking was an art. I actually majored in home economics in college. Your videos bring me back to my core values. Elegance and being serene are beautiful qualities and I just know your videos will inspire so many women on budgets.
The feminine, elegant lady we don’t deserve but all need in our lives🥺❤️ It’s so refreshing to hear a more traditional woman’s thoughts. I found my role model. Thank you so much for elevating my life. It’s because of you I threw away my old waaay too short skirts and pants and started wearing knee length or below dresses and growing my hair👩🏼✨ I found the feminine lady in myself. And it’s because of you I now know that my views of traditional marriage and relationships aren’t weird, it’s okay to feel that way. And it’s okay to act and look feminine. It’s okay to want a big family at a young age. It can be lonely and sometimes I feel like an alien but this community makes me feel at home🥰 have a blessed day.
I love these tips about elegance, and I think your “disclaimer” (not sure if that’s the best word, aha) was needed. Also that pregnancy glow is real, lady! Have a wonderful weekend 💗
You're such a good influencer, I love how respectful and including you are. I feel so much better about myself and feminity since I started following you! God bless you and your growing family.
Mrs. Midwest... Thank you for creating this channel. I used to feel super alone with my traditional views and how bubbly I am... Dating was never successful because I always had to put this facade on to be the type of "woman" modern men would like. Now I feel reassured, wholesome and completely happy in my elegant nature. I've attracted positive people and relationships in my life! Your channel has REALLY helped:)
Many people have started to view femininity in a negative light because no one wants to be put in a box and said that they need to act and look a certain way to be defined as a woman. In my opinion femininity comes through when a person is happy with themselves and feel comfortable with who they are and are becoming. For some people they will feel most confident when they are embracing "bad bitch energy" or a more independent lifestyle (maybe focusing on a career) where others feel that they are more themselves when they are more traditional in their ways. There are thousands more categories that woman fall into and none of them should be judged. Just as personalities differ so does personal style and how you want to convey yourself to the world. Let us stop shaming other woman for embodying what they truly feel comfortable as. Woman are so amazing and we each have a right to live as we please. Start living in peace with one another💫❤❤❤
This! I refuse to dumb down myself and present myself in any other way, other than the way that I am. I love being feminine. Just picture the typical book worm, classic clothing, cats and tea involved and happily married and doing what I love. I love an elegant home, clothes and style. I accept all and anyone, until they come to trash me.
I have felt myself growing tired of other people feeling the need to give their opinion on the way others want to live their lives. What’s good for one woman may not do for another and that’s OK. Nobody is trying to take anything away from women (as a whole) because some of us want to be submissive to our husbands and find joy in making our homes and families while other women feel or do life differently. That pop culture phrase, “You do you, Boo,” applies here. 🙂
Yay! Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Enjoy!!! I’ve been pregnant 10 times and have been blessed with 8 children here on earth (two in heaven)! I really enjoyed having babies and although it’s not always easy it’s SO very worth it! Blessings!
The beginning if the video was the most beautifully done address/disclaimer I've ever witnessed. So filled with grace and diplomacy without weakening your stance.
Caitlyn thank you for this video. You’re like the big sis I never had (and I’m the big sis in my family). You radiate such positive energy and you are the true definition of an empowered modern woman, accepting of all. I’m pursuing medical school and I’ve had such a conflict as a woman in STEM- “can a woman of science bother to take care of her appearance/be feminine?” I feel like the disdain of femininity permeates this idea that femininity means submissiveness, irrational thoughts (the opposite of science) but truly I’ve learn through this amazing journey that we need to embrace it because it makes us better scientists, doctors, homemakers, teachers etc. I don’t understand why society has tried to put the feminine woman down. It’s one of the most magical and beautiful things I’ve embraced as a young lady and I wish I hadn’t resented my femininity for long, especially because a “woman in STEM” can’t be “feminine” or “pretty.” That’s absolutely absurd! I’m working hard everyday to become gracious, glow up, and thankful. And I couldn’t be happier despite the struggles in life. So thank you! Your positive energy is extremely contagious 😃❤️
Wonderful tips! I am not a homemaker or your key demographic (40 yr single working woman) but I have always been feminine and a hombody since I was young. A home is one's palace, my mother would say. Love your channel Mrs Midwest. 😊Looking forward to more.
I imagine that it must be frustrating for you to have to say a disclaimer at the beginning of your videos, but I am thankful that you do it anyway. It certainly has helped me feel welcome and comfortable visiting you. 💕 Thank you.
I love you so much!!! Blessings on your beautiful pregnancy. You have taught me so much. That comes from a woman without a lot of mother presence in her life. I was raised by my dad and although I love all the lessons he gave me, I only could find empowerment in masculinity. Now I feel so powerful being femenine and learning how to be more femenine everyday. I hope you have a beautiful day!
I’m so glad you’re back, and that you didn’t decide to stop making content for good after you found out you were pregnant. You’re one of my favorite content creators, and your videos always make me feel so happy and inspired. I want to be a full time wife someday, and your videos give me hope for my future. 💖 Thank you!
I have been stuck in a depressive episode lately and your videos have really helped me get me out of it. I have started taking more care of myself. Instead of seeing working out and being healthy as a way of being "better" than other people, I see it as prolonging my life and being kind to myself. Although I'm not a home-maker per say, I really love your content and I think it can be really relatable to any woman.
You are wiser than your years. As a well seasoned woman, I appreciate you and applaud your strength. Your life is a picture of your faith. Well done. You needn't apologize or explain to those who hate. Simply proceed with your life and continue to pray for your enemies quietly and humbly before our Lord. May God continue to bless you and your family.
You are just a breath of fresh air. Caitlin, I did not think you could possibly get any more beautiful...but you are seriously glowing already sweet girl!! Everything you said in your video today is so very true. I have 2 daughters around your age and I did my very best to raise them to be sweet, southern belles...as we are from the Deep South originally and I myself was raised to be lady like, polite, polished and poised always. In my opinion it is so important to teach our girls these lessons from a very early age. Being a good role model from day one is always the best lesson taught. So many folks of this era do not value these traits today and I find that to be so disappointing. Enough rambling..LOL. Lastly, I wanted to congratulate you and your hubby with regards to your soon to be new addition to the family. It is so exciting isn't it? I say that because I am expecting my first Grandchild!! I can hardly stop thinking about it. We just found out that he is a baby boy and he is due to arrive Christmas Eve. I am so excited to follow your journey as well. I just adore watching your videos. Take care Caitlin. Love & Hugs!!!
I recently inherited my grandmother’s pearls, and they make me feel like the most elegant woman in the world. Does anyone else have a specific outfit or piece of jewelry that instantly makes them feel more elegant? I’m curious. 😀
Yes!! I have this dress, that is gorgeous, it is a muted pastel pink, add heals, a bun, and a necklace, and I feel like the most lady like 14 year old in the world ❤️ lol
Lol yeah i bought this pale yellow and floral dress with puffy sleeves, everytime i wear it, i feel super elegant. Or in the winter when i wear my favorite black turtleneck with a peacoat. Or my late mother's pearl earrings 😍🤗
If you’re all interested in talking more in depth about elegance and femininity, feel free to join my Facebook group, A Dash of Femininity! I created this group for likeminded women like all of you to discuss all things feminine and classy. Come join us and share you’re wisdom and experiences!
You are stunning, beautiful, and gorgeous 🥰 You’ve really taught me how to be beautiful from the inside-out; thank you for that 😘 God has definitely called you to help us biblical, Christian women who want HIM to shine through us. :) our community needs you dear 🤗 you’re true goals and a role model😘
Firstly, you are GLOWING! Secondly, I loved the intro to this video. Lastly, great topic as always! I appreciate your videos so much! I grew up in a not-so-elegant family and your advice has been so helpful to me.
Our lives couldn't be more different, but I adore you, your channel, your spirit, and your content! You are inspiring because you are chasing YOUR bliss. It inspires us to each identify what our bliss is and to chase our own. You are so genuine with a kind and loving ambience. 💜
Mrs Cait..... you are so sweet and so spot on in so many ways! Please, never let the Nay-Sayers get to you or get you down. You are enjoying your life and time here. There is enough suffering and miserty on Earth, why let anybody add to it? Big Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a 48 year old Lady and have seen both Hell and High Water.... You are an inspiration and a MentorLady to all! Many thanks for that, and Kudos to the fact that you have learned so much at such a young age and shared that knowledge.... many blessings Sweetheart! Aloha, and Mahalo
My "little thing" today: consuming some dearly missed quality content from Mrs. Midwest with Finnish Karelian pie & childhood favorite cocoa after a long evening of gardening☺ Speaking of TV-series, have you ever seen Signed, sealed and delivered? I just discovered it and I LOVE IT and I think you might as well! It's very wholesome, faith-filled and vintage-y😁 Good to see you again Caitlyn, you have blessed me so much!❤
Oh and btw, watching it I realized the main female character reminded me of you a whole lot! And I won't spoil too much if you haven't seen it but I noticed she goes through something of a spiritual (and outer) glow up in the series and in the end she's an extremely elegant woman.
Dear Caitlin , I just have to admit that I’ve missed you sooo much these past few months. Honestly just watching this video has put me into a much better, more grateful mood than before. You are literally a godsend angel that makes all of the feminine family so happy and helps us to make our own lives so much better and value our lives more. At least I feel this way. Not many people, and not by far youtubers/bloggers make me feel this thankful about my life. You are literally the big sister I never knew I needed. Thank you for everything you have done, I will always support you even if you can only post once a year when you have your baby. God bless 💗💗💗
Me: 23 weeks pregnant, eating takis in bed. I haven’t bothered to shower or brush my teeth since I woke up because I’m binge watching RUclips videos as I’m positioned so Shelby (my double chin, she hides) makes an appearance and my hair is looks like a lions mane..... God made women beautiful 😂😂😂😂 ahhhh yes I am beautiful ☺️
Moya Jimenez LOL! I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago and my husband keeps telling me I look beat up and that it’s sucking the life out of me 😂. He asked when I’m getting the glow, I’m like I don’t know! She has the most perfect pregnancy glow, we can only hope it will happen to us 😍
I missed your videos! Thank you so much for this video. I feel like some femininity youtubers place an importance on luxury, material items, etc. to be what defines an elegant woman when really elegance is in the mind.
This is so helpful for me. I used to be one among the group you've mentioned in the beginning. I used to hate being feminine and used to think that being feminine is being weak, but now I realise that it's all about the attitude. I've watched only 2 of your videos so far and it's really helpful for me. Thanks you and may God bless your child.
so good to see that you are doing well, caitlin! following your advice, I have been feeling so comfortable being a woman and taking care of myself, thank you for that. this is offtopic but I (atheist, rather into spirituality) recently started reading the bible and I can't tell what is happening right now but I feel the urge to reach out and seek answers. if anybody in the comment section experienced something like this, let me know, I know this is a loving community. i wish you all the best.
@@kaylamccarthy7731 thank you. it has been really weird, I had the urge to read the bible after going through some dark times and a week later I actually met a christian guy who has been giving me advice and I felt like "wow, that must be a coincidence. or not?"...
I think He knows when we are searching and makes it easier for us. (Check out Acts 17:27) James 4:8 says, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you." He's a good God.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. “ Your comment brought this verse to my mind. Seeking answers and reading the Bible is a very good thing! I’d be happy to try and help with any questions you have. 😊 I grew up in a Christian home so I was very young when I understood the gospel and realized my need for a personal savior and asked Jesus to save me, to forgive me of all my sin, past and future, and to come into my heart and life. To help others come to Jesus is one of my greatest desires! ❤️ He truly loves each and every person and longs for a personal relationship with you!
My mom never thought me how to take care of myslef, be feminine or be woman at all. Your videos are very useful. You became my elegant mom :D thank you!
Ohh!! Have I been gone that long?! You're a Mum! You look sooo lovely and I hope you are feeling well and beautiful. Wishing you all the best on this amazing journey 🙏🏼❤
I really love your videos, especially your tips about homemaking! I would love to hear your thoughts about how to organize rooms, closets and cupboards in your home. I feel like I really struggle with it, and always end up just throwing everything in to back of my closet. And it will be hard to find what you're looking for when you do that.
I’ve always wanted a traditional marriage. I didn’t want a career I have always wanted to have kids and stay home with them. I still work because unfortunately I haven’t been able to conceive yet and suffered several miscarriages already. I know God will give me the baby I am suppose to have. It’s so nice you’re also unapologetic about what you want! I feel like some of my girlfriends look down on me for wanting to be a homemaker/stay at home mom but I’ve always wanted to be a mother I never wanted a big career and my husband does and supports me and wants me to be able to stay home. Love this video and admire you to much.
It is kind of funny, because you are so different, but the suggestions you are giving here reminds me so much of the advice they give on the show ‘Queer Eye’. The Fab Five are always encouraging people to take care of themselves and their home, as a way to feel confident. And they encourage people to take the time to make nice meals for themselves, even if they live alone, again, to elevate their lives and for self care. 💕
Thank you for being who you are! Although our lifestyles are different, I love your content and I am always learning from you. Your intro about valuing diversity was eloquent and gracious as always, and I appreciate you taking the time to educate people and react to the criticism with nothing but love. You are truly a light on a hill and I am grateful for role models like yourself who encourage me to look to the Lord in all things 🙂 God bless and many congratulations!!! 🤰🏼
Well worded Caitlin. I especially agree with the part about maturity, serenity and gratefulness. In case you haven’t read them - The Obstacle Is The Way and The Ego Is The Enemy by Ryan Holiday are amazing books on these topics. I think you will enjoy them a lot. And congratulations on your pregnancy and little boy! I was overjoyed to hear the news! ☺️💙 PS watching Korean housewives makes me feel like garbage 😅😂. It’s not for the faint of heart!
You look beautiful and that pregnancy glow is stunning on you Caitlin! I don't use all of your videos to change stuff about myself but some of your videos are so useful for me. I love being a homemaker, I may not be married yet, but my fiance and I love me being home. I am currently pregnant and your videos are helping me becoming a better wife, homemaker, and I am loving life so much more now that I am embracing my role as a stay at home mom and partner.
Been looking for this kind of content! I strongly believe every women should learn from this. 💖 thanks for making this video. Love, from your asian neighbor!
I was wondering if you had heard of the 13 feminine archetypes which you can find online on a blog called "Women Love Power" it goes into several different ways/ types of femininity you can display. I don't agree with everything said but it is quite fascinating to any of my feminine women out there. X
I loved your disclaimer - it was so elegant! I’m not traditional at all 😂 (work full time, not in traditional relationship, not religious) BUT there are aspects of femininity that I love and want to grow.
Just wanted to say that I'm a 'atheist feminist' I guess. But I love your content. Our lives are very different. But I love hearing your advice and incorporating it into my life where I want. I think you're right not everything you say is for everyone. But that goes to literally everyone/everything in life in general. Also I'm so happy for your news. You're going to be a great momma. And I hope you take time off to just be with baby boy they grow way to fast and RUclips can wait.
Its so grade to have you to teach us about this things. My mom was a singel mom but she was always very Masculine and my cultur never told me. But I was always very intrested in femininety and I tryed to be as much as I could. But Its nice to hear everything you have to say about being an adult woman.
I'm not sure if you've already mentioned her before, but if not- I think you would truly enjoy the Homemaking Foundations podcast. The host is a Christian mama and she shares so much great information for young mother's and homemakers! 💖
Giving us these tips in a very kind and diplomatic way, I definitely appreciate that. Love acting and feeling feminine too. Being accepting of other lifestyles is also super classy :) *Congratulations on the pregnancy!!* By the way, where did you get your dress, it is beautiful!
Ahhh I was missing these videos!! Although I’m am only thirteen, I love this lifestyle, you inspire me so much!! 💖 When I grow up I want to be just like you, I’m a Apostolic Christian teen, and I just find that these phenomenal tips just make my life put together 🥰 As a Colombian the culture is just so vulgar and very sexualized and I just don’t like it, but God, the church community and you have helped me so much to not go down that path, God bless you sister!! And may I say that you look stunning!! Pregnancy still has you looking beautiful as per usual ❤️
Your videos motivated and encouraged me during quarantine. I’ve started to take care of my home better, and getting ready in the morning has changed my overall mood for the better. We may be completely opposite, but I admire you and your videos ❤️.
I really appreciate your comments on diversity. I have a pretty different lifestyle and views on certain things than you, and I think that’s great! It takes all types to create our beautiful world. That said, I still love cultivating elegance and femininity in my home and life. I don’t think that those things are inherently incompatible with my feminism. I love my career, but I also love cooking for my man (and myself!) and home making and antiquing and fashion! I so adore having both in my life ❤️ sending happy thoughts for you during your pregnancy, you are beautiful! Love your dress!
I totally agree with you about the Korean and Japanese housewives. I find them very inspiring in finding joy in the little things! Rhea Y. especially inspires me on RUclips with how every meal is prepared with such care and the table set.
Dear Caitlin, thank you for your content, your joy and wisdom. I’m working on regulating my mental health and your content is truly brightening things for me. God bless you (and the little one)!!!!
We all missed that beautiful and positive light you bring to this influencer space❤️ I love that you spoke of diversity of thoughts and beliefs! We need so much more graciousness in this area. Blessings my dear💕 Pregnancy looks amazing on you! You are truly beeming😘
1. Be gracious
2. Take care keeping clean of your external world: your environment (house, car, purse/bag, yard, etc. )
3. Remove vulgarity (cursing, dirty jokes, raunchy TV/movies, etc. )
4. Enjoy the small things in life (make the little things feel special, not mundane)
5. Tidy up your appearance (it's more about continuous improvement and consistency, not a final destination)
Thank you for taking these notes
I love vulgarity in my relationship it’s so much more spicy 😉
Thank you for this!:) ❤️❤️
Thank you very much❤️🍀
Netasha Neuhaus If that’s you’re prerogative then good for you. Caitlin’s advice isn’t for everyone!
Sis, you’re glowing! God bless you during this pregnancy.
Glowing!!
She really is!!
You ladies are the SWEETEST. I hope the glow lasts 😅😅 thank you for the blessings :):)
Same!
Same love her!
👌🏽
tryingtofindmyNICHE I agree... I think the femininity community has began splitting and branching so it was necessary for her to say that.

I love this
Halcyon Days Yes, these seemingly small things bring such happiness and confidence. 💕
I love this! You sound like you have a wise mother! ❤️
" Diversity is more than just skintones, it includes costumes, beliefs, values and ways of viewing the world. So to be a truly tolerant person accepting of diversity we must remember that people live life differently than us"
Did you hear that haters?
I love this woman, i'm not even a christian or a homemaker, but i like her. All she puts out there is positivity. Can't believe people are offended by her. The fact that she has haters, just goes to show that some people will always hate, no matter what.
Exactly 🙌
We’re so different, yet the same. I love her acceptance of everyone and her positivity. ❤️
Ikr! She is one of the least problematic people on youtube. She just radiates purity:)
People who speaks truth will be hated by many. It's not surprising
You look stunning! Pregnancy glow is definitely blessing you!
She’s probably having a boy !!
Thank you so much!!! Hopefully it lasts 😅😅
Marissa She is!!
You have no idea how happy I am to see you back. You’re one of my top inspirers.
exactly! I love her. God is using her in marvelous ways
Completely agree!
Same, yeah sooo true
Same here!! 😭
I’m a feminine lesbian with a Christian background and probably live a very different lifestyle but I love your videos and never feel like you’re trying to judge anyone. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your bundle of joy.
Me too! Nice to know there are more of us! ❤ love these videos
LGBT squad in the house! I love these videos 💜
me too! 🏳️🌈❤️ can’t wait to bless my future wife ☺️💍👔
Nikki Hansen Hooray! I am a femme bisexual and I thought I was the only one who was a fan of Mrs Midwest. I am glad that I am not. Yay!
J C I couldn’t agree more! Well spoken! 💕
Midwest ♥️
I agree with you totally.
You should make a pregnancy time lapse! You take a picture from the same angle everyday, and see the end result!
That’s a fantastic idea!!!:)
you're "disclaimer" was beautiful and so accurately said. i admire you so much for always behaving in such a wonderful positive and ladylike way
I'm at my first English speaking job, and I really appreciate that you always took care of viewers whp speak English as a second language.Even though I'm fluent in english, and consume all sorts of content in that language , I'm having a hard time picking up on all different american accents.Enjoy this time, and keep up the good work! ❤️
People who see embracing femininity and promoting it as an attack on them most likely have some internal issues they need to work through. I hope they do, eventually. Nothing you ever said could've been interpreted as an attack on ANYONE!
God bless you and your future family!
Exactly right!
@Dana Marie Thing is, most feminists, who say they promote women doing what ever they like, seem to take huge issues with women who WANT to be traditional.
I hope no one feels attacked, but if they do, I hope we can all overcome it together!! 🥰🥰
@@MrsMidwest Of course! I wish everyone to get along :) Bless you ❤️🙏
I was thinking the same thing.
awww cool! i personally as a teen wear sweatpants a lot, but I pair them with sweaters and jewelry to keep it feminine.
I'm not a woman, nor do I strive for "elegance",
But RUclips put this at the top of my recommended list,
So I watched, and since I am someone who aims for excellence,
It was nice to find some form of applicability in each of the video's tips.
She is so skilled in speaking well!❤️
You made me glow up so much and love myself, thank you✨
Mrs.
Start living in peace with one another💫❤❤❤
People only feel attacked because they're genuinely guilty. Love your content Mrs. Midwest #traditionalwomen
💕💕
I don’t know why but i instantly get happy to see the notification of ur videos💓😌 thank u for coming back 🌸love from India

I agree!:)
Yay! Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Enjoy!!! I’ve been pregnant 10 times and have been blessed with 8 children here on earth (two in heaven)! I really enjoyed having babies and although it’s not always easy it’s SO very worth it! Blessings!
She's the real goddess. You inspire me a lot to be more femininely & gently. Love you Mrs Midwest. Please stay blessed during this crisis 🙏❤️
The beginning if the video was the most beautifully done address/disclaimer I've ever witnessed. So filled with grace and diplomacy without weakening your stance.
So glad to see you! You’re to sweet to keep going with the blog and social media! It means so much to us all 🤍
Caitlyn thank you for this video.
My husband works at a truck plant and swears a LOT. It has really rubbed off on me! 😳 Pray for me LOL
I can so relate! Lol
@@farishya9925 🤣💕
It’s so difficult when people around us swear! You can do it but don’t be hard on yourself 😘😘😘
Just remember that we have many other intelligent and beautiful words to use to express ourselves :)
Don’t fuckin sweat it ;)
I’m so glad you’re back, and that you didn’t decide to stop making content for good after you found out you were pregnant. You’re one of my favorite content creators, and your videos always make me feel so happy and inspired. I want to be a full time wife someday, and your videos give me hope for my future. 💖 Thank you!
Haven't even started but already liked this video. So excited to hear your tips!
Love your content! I am learning so much! Transitioning from modern back to traditional! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Way to go! 💕
I have a gold necklace with a little heart as pendant on it.
Lol yeah i bought this pale yellow and floral dress with puffy sleeves, everytime i wear it, i feel super elegant. Or in the winter when i wear my favorite black turtleneck with a peacoat. Or my late mother's pearl earrings 😍🤗
Yes!! I have a hand-me-down set from my mom... gold and emerald earrings and matching ring that make me feel so elegant.

Firstly, you are GLOWING!
Secondly, I loved the intro to this video.
Lastly, great topic as always! I appreciate your videos so much! I grew up in a not-so-elegant family and your advice has been so helpful to me.
Felt a bit low today but after watching your video, i felt more empowered. Thanks for your wonderful content. Have a blessed week ahead
Our lives couldn't be more different, but I adore you, your channel, your spirit, and your content! You are inspiring because you are chasing YOUR bliss. It inspires us to each identify what our bliss is and to chase our own. You are so genuine with a kind and loving ambience. 💜
May God bless you and your growing family with Joy and His everlasting peace. Wonderful video as always💖💖
your pregnancy glow is AMAAAAZING you are gorgeous . I am so happy for you and wish you and your family so much joy and health.
Finnish Karelian pie sounds like a DREAM! I am so happy you are here and finding joy in the little things. What an example for us all! 😍🥰
I love that show!! It's one of my family's favorites:)
It really is amazing how seemingly small changes like these make a huge difference, especially in your worldview!
In my progressive city life that’s full of comfy lazy clothes I missed you!! You help make me be the best version of myself ❤️
It has gotten worse during this pandemic. Sometimes it seems I'm the only that has changed to casual clothing.
Yes you ARRRRE 😍 lions mane hair sounds gorgeous 😉😉😉
You name your double chin 😂😂
Good one sis.
Dude your normal. Lol 😝
Moya Jimenez LOL! I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago and my husband keeps telling me I look beat up and that it’s sucking the life out of me 😂. He asked when I’m getting the glow, I’m like I don’t know! She has the most perfect pregnancy glow, we can only hope it will happen to us 😍
When you mentioned about shows and influencers that sucked away our positive energy it’s so true!
Keep reading! The Bible encourages questions and it's good message has transformed countless lives! Matthew 7:7 says to seek and you will find...
Keep seek and keep praying, God is definitely calling you.
Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. “
Your comment brought this verse to my mind.
I didn't get to say this on your latest video but congratulations on the baby, and I wish you a happy, healthy and safe pregnancy
Thank you dear Maya!
My mom never thought me how to take care of myslef, be feminine or be woman at all. Your videos are very useful. You became my elegant mom :D thank you!
B E A U T I F U L, like literally you may belong to Disney princess's or some like this💓💓
Ohh!! Have I been gone that long?! You're a Mum! You look sooo lovely and I hope you are feeling well and beautiful. Wishing you all the best on this amazing journey 🙏🏼❤
Welcome back! 2 videos within a week? You’re spoiling us! ❤️ You are glowing in this video too! xx
W/all the twerking and ridiculousness that goes on online today, this video is a breath of fresh air! I have a big fat girl crush on Mrs. Midwest ❤❤❤
Yes!!!!
I find your videos so uplifting, enjoyable and educational. I love watching them. Please don’t worry about unkind comments! So many people value you!!
I’m so glad you’re back and posting! I’ve missed you so much. I really love your videos, they have changed the way i do things immensely
the colors suit you perfectly, wow
Well worded Caitlin. I especially agree with the part about maturity, serenity and gratefulness. In case you haven’t read them - The Obstacle Is The Way and The Ego Is The Enemy by Ryan Holiday are amazing books on these topics. I think you will enjoy them a lot. And congratulations on your pregnancy and little boy! I was overjoyed to hear the news! ☺️💙
PS watching Korean housewives makes me feel like garbage 😅😂. It’s not for the faint of heart!
Thank you for your big sister advice!! Soooo excited for you and your husband, praying for a healthy baby and a safe delivery 🥰
Have you ever considered to start a podcast? I’d love to listen to your content while taking walks. Sending love from Germany💕
I would totally listen!❤️
Momma Midwest ❤ your hair and makeup is amazing!!
I grow up in Japanese culture which puts emphasis on feminine elegance. So I can’t agree with you more! I appreciate your wealth of knowledge 💕😊🙏
Love your comment, you seem like an awesome person
@@rubylove9475 thanks I try to be. 😃 also I named my cat Luna its such a lovely name ☺
@@rubylove9475 also I meant I try to be a good person not an awesome one 🤣 but I should start aiming for awesome instead
Loved this video from start to finish!! 💞 I love how you work faith and the Lord into your videos too!
Giving us these tips in a very kind and diplomatic way, I definitely appreciate that. Love acting and feeling feminine too. Being accepting of other lifestyles is also super classy :) *Congratulations on the pregnancy!!*
By the way, where did you get your dress, it is beautiful!
thank you!! I always hope to be diplomatic in my delivery. Bridging gaps between different types of people is always a good thing 🥰
Watching you at 3:17am because I have to watch as soon as you upload! ❤️ from Australia
Cessily I’m in Melbourne as well, I definitely know how you feel. I’m trying not to think about how we still have at least another month of this.
She’s back and more beautiful than ever! 💕💕
Thank you for your videos, glad you do it!!! If they are feeling attacked they should not watch!!!!! Our "niche" loves having you and your videos!!!
YOURE BACKKKKKK!! I’m so happy!
I totally agree with you about the Korean and Japanese housewives. I find them very inspiring in finding joy in the little things! Rhea Y. especially inspires me on RUclips with how every meal is prepared with such care and the table set.
Love youuu 💕💕you’re looking better than ever
