That should be cool, especially if the snow is a little thicker. We don’t hardly ever get that opportunity here in Houston! 😆 As long as the snow isn’t too thick…and the drone isn’t in it long enough to get water in it.

i just got my se 2, will be here in few days. i only paid $299 from adoroma. you should have waited longer. almost $500 for that and memory card, thats a lot. i cant wait to fly and post some vids.

I live on the inside edge of a yellow zone do you think I will have problems flying the drone.
well, generally, if there are no planes or helicopters close by while you flying your drone, you will not get in trouble for flying in the yellow zone, however, if it's possible for you, please fly outside that zone so that police or someone else won't mark your drone as a target. :)

So I guess what I'm asking you is the maps that are built into the drone won't stop me from taking off. I have no intention of flying in a orange or red zone it's just I live about 600 feet inside the yellow zone. I had a potinecic Mini 2 se for a bit and it would let me take off. But I don't think it had maps built in like the DJI drones

Well, you don’t have to be because this drone is powerful enough to fly in the light snow or even rain and still capture amazing videos.
Just make sure you are in control of your drone at all times. 👍

When flying a drone like this in Snow or light rain, you have to make sure you are in control at all times, in case wind gets too strong.
And yeah, this drone can withstand snow or light rain with any issues. The drone was totally fine after. Just make sure you dry it out as something might be stuck in the propeller and make it weaker.

Sports mode drains bathroom real quick?
Yeah, when you turn on Sport Mode on the drone, the propellers spin at Max speed causing the battery to drain faster. If there is no big wind, I mostly use Normal or Cine mode to let the battery last longer.

I’m considering buying one, just because they’re like 289 right now. But my question is, does it lag when connected to the phone for FPV? If so how bad. I have the DJI fly app already so I’m preparing in case of lag with stream.
That’s awesome! What do you mean „does it lag when connected to the phone FOR FPV?” Do you have a phone somehow similar to fpv? This drone is not FPV but it does have FPV mode, which locks the camera movement.

Yeah, in order to see what the drone sees, you have to connect your phone and use DJI fly-app. I was confused because FPV usually means FPV drone.
And no, you don’t need a licence in order to fly any of the Mini Dji series drones, including Dji Mini 2 SE. But if you want to use this drone any other than for recreational purposes, (like real estate) you do have to get Part 107.

The dji mini 2 se is just the cheaper mini version available. So a lot of people still search for it.
I prefer to take off using the bathroom also.
you just need to know its still not 2024... its 2023.. and when snowing do not use the drone.... not just the snow but its the damp that can get in and destroy the inside electronics.
