dont use fast tracks unless you intend on getting a few boos or snowballs coming your way

Great review. A other plus about Bachelor is there is no lodging at the base. Less congestion.

I spent a week there last year. If you can get to the top it is amazing. The only day the summit was open I didn't bring my camera gear. Going to try and make a review soon. Your videos just keep getting better. Good job! Also too busy on the weekends.

Thanks! And wow, I didn't realize how lucky we were even though a local told me we were. The summit was open 1.5 days out of 3. Will look for your review!

This is our local hill. One of my favorite spots. Spring time (April-May) is going to be your best chance for riding summit

So we may have really lucked out with 1.5 out of 3 days in January! Jealous that it's your local spot!

Don’t be telling people about the skyliner lot, it’s the infamous locals only spot.😂😂😂

Ha! A local is the one who told us!

When he talks about going off the top at summit and taking the catchlines to get back, snowboarders beware that you’re going to be unstrapping pretty frequently. Very very flat getback trail with even some uphill portions

I just wanted to make a note that Redmond is at least 45 min from Mt. B.
If the roads are snowy or icy, that could double or more.
Another traffic avoidance tip is to leave Bend early- like 7:30 am :)

@@goodridevibes Nice, back to Breck! Utah would be awesome to pull off as well. So many options there.

@@SkiBoyNY. I like the east access of the Salt Lake City resets… seems like you could practically Uber over for 20 mins rather than driving multiple hours which sounds really nice

Absolutely. The proximity of the resorts to the east makes Salt Lake City such a great destination. Hope you guys get there!@@goodridevibes

Your reviews are pretty awesome, very detail and lot of tips! This is the first year I got ikon pass and planning to go there.
Have you been to Mt. Schweitzer? I want to go there because I heard lines are relatively good even on weekends. With my work and kids school, weekdays are pretty much a non-option for me.

Thanks so much! I'm sure you'll like it. It's definitely a resort I want to return to.

Actually, you are not skiing into a crater (caldera). You are skiing into an old glacial scar. The big deposit at the bottom is the moraine left over from the extinct glacier. You walk past the caldera on your way up to the summit from the top of the chairlift. nevertheless, it is pretty rad to be skiing on a dormant volcano!

Did Timberline last May, thinking about bachelor this year, does it hold up in the Spring like Mt. Hood?

  • @weaknoodles8740

Hmmmm, I disagree with most people’s opinion on my bachelor. I’ve been quite a few times but was never impressed. Quite a large resort but the terrain doesn’t vary a whole lot. Maybe it was bad luck but each time I’ve visited the wind was ferocious. The snow is as good as the PNW will get but it surprised me how such a mediocre ski resort became so popular

Because you’re just there at the wrong time of year
