Shure SM7b Vs MBP Pro Mic Test

I was setting up the Shure SM7b and I thought people might like to hear the difference between it and the MBP Pro mic. I also demonstrate simple EQ, compression, expansion, and limiting setting to get your voice to a higher broadcast level.

What kind of pre are you running I noticed you said it was a cloud lifter clone but it seems like it works great !

@@DeadStringAudio - it’s the Thomann FetAmp for 49e - I think I got it cheaper than that as a just in case connector - i have a bag of all different types of connectors and converters. The pre itself is the RME sound card and the FetAmp gives it a little lift (27dB) but 48v is still coming from the RME unlike the cloud filter which I believe has its own power supply.
