This song is dear to my heart. My grandparents were Spaniards 🇪🇸 and they had the privilege to migrate to Mexico and birth my mother there, and me as a Mexican. I feel that when Alejandro sings Granada is an ode to my heritage, two worlds colliding and feeling so freaking proud of both! 😭 ❤🇲🇽🇪🇸 by the way, Granada is a city in Spain, it’s where the Alahambra is and was the empire of the moorish for 800 years, that’s why you hear the Arabic sounds in this song 😊 أنا أحب هذه الأغنية

Granada, escrita por el compositor y musico Mexicano Agustin Lara originario de Veracruz, Mexico.. Agustin Lara nunca habia estado en Espana antes de escribir esta cancion.. Tambien escribio una cancion llamada MADRID. " Flores que le dieran marco a la virgen Morena ( Virgen de Guadalupe)

Hello, this song and music were made by a Mexican composer called Agustín Lara bcause he vsited Spain, so dedicated this opus to the City Granada. Agustín died betwen 1966 or 1968. Thanks for watching Mexican composer and Alejandro.
