Hardstyle Mid Intro Kick Explained (NEW! Tutorial)

Tutorial on mid intro kick using Sylenth1 Synth:
Following the success of my first kick tutorial, I bring you another video explaining how to make a kick like the ones found in recent tracks by Headhunterz and Wildstylez.

You can use venm. A free distortion unit that's similar to logics clip distortion :)

Nice. On a 16:9 monitor with 1080p you can't read anything in Sylenth1. And why don't you show your ClipDist Settings for the Tail? :P

Is the second and third clip distortion had the same parameters of the first ? I'm far from your result by using Distroyer on Cubase 10

Misstortion 2 by Nimble Tools is a free very good one and is used by Headhunterz and Frontliner, at least that I know of.

Love the tutorial. In any part of the process do you touch the volume faders of each individual channel?

When working with kicks, you'd need to have a hard clip at 0dB at the end to avoid having a different result when exporting.
In that regard adjusting the channel volume fader becomes irrelevant. Use utility tools in the chain to adjust volume in between plugins.

If u play with the bipolar mode in trash 2 and the waveshaper inside of it you can get a similar effect

The principal is the same in each DAW the only difference is Logic's stock plugins but there are alternatives for distortion, EQ etc. Like iZotope Trash 2, MAudio Waveshaper & so on if you look around. Good luck man

You can get pretty good results with the Ableton Stock Plugins like Amp, Overdrive and Saturator. The DAW is not the limit, it's your knowledge about the function of the plugins.

It's because he recorded it in 4K. On his monitor it's all readable i think, but if you don't have a 4K display, you're fucked. Also can't read anything.

Wave shaper use asymmetric distortion. There is setting in waveshaper
