Another thing I hear producers do in their tracks nowadays during a build up, is that they slightly bring in the overall sound which was in stereo into mono as it approaches the drop to make the highs less harsh on the ears when taking away the low end as you've demonstrated and reverting back to normal when the drop hits.

Nice video bro, i used Pro-MB for the drop lowcut but with the new Pro-Q 3 you can do the same effect more cpu efficient.

imn playing around with making hardstyle but using loops for the moment.. can i use masterbuss compress on loops samples?
The compressor that's by default on your master is a limiter which makes sure the sound doenst go over 0 db, it doesnt compress.
I suggest you take it of the master, cause it sqaushes the sound in a bad way
i see why this is called hard style. It's just hard to make.
