Fantastic camerawork; feel as if I'm right there, for my best NHRA-class racing cars. Yipppee !

Thanks for posting. Since the nhra treats the Pro Mods like crap... only opp. to see em. Thanks again.

Another fine video jayork, havent kept up with pro mods this season did Bob Raham wreck his vette? sure looks like a camaro now. And Ricky Smith still has'nt got the turbo car he was threatning to do lol. Thanks for posting.

Yeah Rahaim wrecked the vette and bought a camaro off of Jim Laurita which he is running now. I believe he still has a new car being built. He set the NHRA Nitrous Pro Mod record with the camaro 5.74

Does anyone know, was Billy Glidden able to get his Pro Mod put back together? Really miss seeing a quality Ford in Pro Mod. Plus he does it with far less money than the other competitors. The Gliddens are the hardest working family in the NHRA.

On yellowbullett.com . It was stated that the Skillman family ( Prostock) had helped him purchase another car and that he should be out with the new car soon.

Are the Pro-Mod cars 1000 foot cars? Also, the quality of these vids is really great, especially considering you're shooting them from the grandstands. What kind of equipment are you using?

Pro Mods are still running 1/4 mile. Only the nitro cars are running 1000ft in NHRA. Thank you for the compliment. I have had the camera for 3 years . Its a Canon Vixia HF R50 HD. Pretty inexpensive and good quality. I will probably get something new later this summer....

Thank you. I remember being in Englishtown several years ago, I was working on a T/AD. I'm from AZ, so the humidity was definitely interesting to experience for the first time. I don't know if it has changed, but the traffic in and out of there was crazy. I've got a funny story about that if you want to here it sometime. You might think your production quality isn't very good but the way you show the cars run and the show the scoreboard completes the shots very well. Keep up the great work.

it seems like every run, only one car makes it to the traps still going all out, its like whoever has the more reliable car wins, not whos faster?

Dead Inside this is qualifying so some of them have already made the field and are trying some things out so they may blow the tires off. So really not a winner and loser. In eleminations most of them go down side by side

Seems if one get out ahead just a little the other one just shuts off Thats not racing at all.IMO pro mods are boring to watch.
Plus you can't tell the cars apart or even what kind of car they are supposed to represent.

This was qualifying so the object was to try to get a time on the board . It was the first session so it was their first shot at the track. Some just missed on their set up that might explain some of the aborted runs....

    • @davidbenoist4223

This was qualifying. They are racing themselves, not the other guy. And some that have made the field already will try some new things out that might not work so they shake the tires or blow something up or try not to blow anything up.

richard Turk if u won't go faster than a pass u already made then no sense in staying in it and hurting parts cuz these guys don't have alot of money. If it was eliminations then they would stay in it tho
